he also said u can add pepper instead of the chinese 13 spice if its not available (i have no idea what all these chinese number spices are so pepper it is!)

8 cloves
5 bay leaves
3 white cardamoms
2 star anise (badian)
1/2 tsp white pepper powder

1 tsp coriander seeds
