Mate your video is a lifesaver. I was sitting here with the peel on and it reflecting like a mirror, since I also had the two tabs at the bottom that just came off. I did what you did in the corner and finally found the peel. Thanks for the video!

I am SO GLAD that I’ve watched this video. Couldn’t for the life of me figure out why LG supplied two yellow sticker tabs on the corner and middle of the screen. Had no idea at all there was a protective film layer on my 65 C2 as it didn’t even look like it was on but your video confirmed it did. Managed to peel it off thanks to you!

Thank you for confirming the screen protector! Mine came with yellow tabs stuck no where near the corners and wasn’t sure if it even had one on. Glad you pointed this out! ❤
Just thought I’d let you know I have just replaced my 65E6 which had some burn-in along the bottom of the screen caused by a rolling news banner with a 77” C2. It’s a great TV with an outstanding picture. I’m a 74yr old avid gamer and I will now be replacing my existing monitor with a 42” C2. So thanks mate for an all round excellent review. 👍

Just got my b1 even if the c2 is out i dont feel jelous i never had a greater tv. And i hope it will makes me happy for some years
I had a b9 now a c1 just runn patterns for dead pixels after a year or so make sure u have a warranty they gave me my c1 for free because my b9 had dead pixels and thry don't make that panel anymore

Got burned once buying an LG C9 two years ago and not getting burned again. Burn-in and stuck pixel lines after only 2 years of usage. Never doing an LG OLED again. Ended up getting a Samsung NEO QLED and yes colors and blacks are not as vivid, but wow it's almost as good.
I love this. the sales guy asked me to wait till boxing day to buy that
Great video Paul, Have to say I'm not a fan of the white colour scheme, still nothing beats the LG OLED GX (2020) which I purchased following your video. Love the no-gap wall mount with an OLED....keep them vids coming mate!

The internet is processing at 1/10th of the speed it’s supposed to be on my brand new C2 OLED. Movies are buffering like it’s 2009.

Randomly found this vid while researching OLED TVs convinced me to pick this with the sound bar on Black Friday (John Lewis owes you commission) - have you posted a vid on how to set up the stand yet? Rented apartment can’t drill into the walls…

I had some issues with my C2 first I was only getting a stereo signal out but this was fixed via firmware update also when watching on the onboard apps i am getting a square pattern effect this was very noticeable in sky shots like in moonraker on Amazon Prime but watching the same films via a external device there was no problem it’s quite amazing how light this tv is it’s got a great new design
Question. Can you check and see if you can close all running apps like the LG BX?

First and foremost Paul. Fantastic video as always. Of all the videos I have watched on the C2 yours is the best because you go so in depth on everything and I love that. Now. My gripes with the C2 are the build quality. It's not as thin as the C1 and I just don't care for the overall design on the back or the stand. But beyond that the PQ is outstanding and I love how the color's ect look natural and life like unlike another QD-OLED out there that is getting way way over hyped and I won't mention it's name. That being said. The LG C2 is a good successor to the C1 but if I had to pick between the C1 or C2 me personally I would go with the C1. But that's just me. Now I cant wait to see more videos on the C2 and see your views on the B2. Any chance your going to get a G2 in the future? Again great great video Paul and keep them coming.

Funnily enough , I spend very little time watching the back of my TV. It's plain and minimalist with no " design " features to speak of. Not sure of your point re the look of it.

Just wondered how accessible are the hdmi inputs? Do I need to plug them all in before I mount it on the wall or is it easy to reach?
@The Tech Giant The reason the TV has become thicker is due to dying pixels on the corners actually. I know this because I had my OLED55B8PLA (2018 55" B8) panel replaced twice in 2 years time for that exact reason. Luckily my last panel has been fine for the last 2 years though, and I am doubling it as my PC monitor as well. 👍
Sadly now my parents their old TV from 2008-ish is starting to die on them, so I am thinking of buying a C2 as you unboxed over there. So for me seeing the thicker framework is both a reinsurrance as well as a bit of a pitty (since the B8 was and still is actually nice and paper thin). I definitely prefer the new back panel design, because now you can more easily flush mount the Philips HUE Gradient Play light strip on the back. Which you couldn't flush mount before as the back panel curved right up to the edge of the oled panel itself, which meant you ended up with a bend in it and this would rip loose the double sided tape of the mounting brackets.
I can't stand when music is used for drama (?) and the volume goes up, is there any way you can adjust it so it doesn't automatically get louder with the music?
Just ordered this beauty and waiting for it to be delivered tomorrow. Got it on a pre-blackfriday deal for 1.180 euros. Hope it was a good deal.

I am buying a TV and the choice is between C2 65" and G2 65". The price difference is €350. With the fact that Lg has a promotion where it gives 3 additional guarantees with the purchase of a new TV, Lg C2 2+3 years of guarantee and also a gift lg soundbar (according to the reviews, it is not the best, so I will most likely sell it immediately). I plan to put the TV on the wall. What is your recommendation to buy? It's for my living room. Is this price difference justified between c2 and g2?
My new 48" c2 has a very sturdy back film with cut corners which doesnt seem to have anything that suggests to remove it. Should I leave it on or not?

I currently own a 48in C1 but have moved house and now think my room needs a 55in at least, so thinking of getting a C2 after the C3 comes out and there's a price reduction, my big question though: is the C2 noticeably brighter than the C1? This tv will be in a very bright room facing a lot of natural light during the day

If you mount this on the wall, how do manage the cable? ie Hdmi cables. There doesn't seem to be any cable management slots on the back of tv, so looks like cables will just hang from side/back of tv?

I have seen that you should never use vivid, and iam using Expert bright space ( daytime) ,do you have the calibration settings for this setting ?

As awesome as this new LG Oled tv is, my LG C9 65" still serves me more than well for TV shows, streaming and PC gaming.
I just don't see the value in that TV if it has ads on it. That price range of a TV should be more of a premium service without ads or an option to turn them off.
Can you uninstall apps that were pre-installed? Also can you turn trending suggestions off?

Would you say that c2 55 inch is worth buying over the CS at around £150 price difference. Can be brought for £999 at the moment from marks electrical and others. The CS 55 inch is around £850 at the moment.
It baffles me why you wouldn't go through the stand set up. The instruction booklet is terrible

I wonder if it's a market difference or model difference but the 65in C2 sold in the US has a carbon fiber backing/finish. Nice TV though. I wish the manual was better, took me a min to determine if the TV had physical navigation buttons lol
hey whats the best solution if i have 4k dolby visions movies on my pc but the TV is in another room? buy an external media player and safe them into it it and plug it into the TV ?

I jist got this tv in 65 inch and the sound sucks! Ive tried googling how to fic it but no success. Either i got a defective one or dont know how to set the sound settings. Any help?

Just got mine in today and setting up my configs but Jesus Christ the LG webOs is ridiculously bloated and annoying. I thought smart TV OS can’t get worst than Amazon Fire OS but this is probably same or worst lol. Love the picture so far though. I wasn’t planning on adding an Apple TV 4K to my new C2 but definitely considering it rn to eliminate LG webOS
