Have to agree the C2 is a cracking Oled, I have the 77" version , had it for a few months now and the picture quality is superb , I love the look of older classic films in 4k on the set, grain structure etc makes them look like film prints, Love it

I got the C2 and I love it! I mostly play my series X on it. It is fantastic, especially for dark games like DBD

Hey, I was considering buying the C2 in 65 inch flavour, but I came across some videos showing a very weird setting implemented in those non-quantum oled panels - the so called "auto dimming mode". I was shocked how bad it actually happens to be in a situation when there is a darker HDR scene and all of a sudden the picture becomes very dim, almost to a point where it's actually difficult to distinguish shadows or details in the darker areas of the scene. Is this a thing with the 55-65 inch C2, or for example it's something that happens only in the smaller models? I'm kind of confused and wouldn't necessarily want to spend 3500 UK pounds for a newer model (probably would prefer to just wait a year or 2 for those devices to become cheaper).

I’ve had the G1, (around equivalent to the C2) for a few months, and I only have one complaint: WebOS is still terrible. Thankfully I use an Apple TV 4K instead.

My LGC1 screen doesn’t turn on, now being replaced with a C2 now they seem to be so close in price. I’m happy been without the C1 for almost three weeks now. LG accepted the repair was taking too long.
Although I like the increased rigidity of the C2.. we were very nervous handling and picking up our C1.. could the less-rigid C1 ever be an advantage? YES.. To my horror, our 50lb dog jumped onto our bed while the C1 was resting there, waiting to be mounted!! And it didn't crack.. couldn't believe it. Been working great so far. Perhaps the slight flex of the C1 saved it?

Hi tec giant great vid once again. Am thinking of up grading to the c2 myself. I have a 2016 curved lg c6 and it's started showing a green patch in the middle of the screen on faces and when the screen goes yellow no idea what's causing it and tv is now out of warrenty has it was from richer sounds in Leeds but the 6 Yr guarantee has now run out. Any ideas what it could be on my c6 oled.

It’s amazing, I was going to purchase the C1 but both design a picture quality is better on the C2 had it for 2 weeks hands down the best TV I’ve owned.

I just bought a 55" LG C2 T.V. Mine only came with a 1.5 metre cable too. 2 metres would be much better, especially if we're using the cable management that's build into the back of the T.V.
I don't know why LG makes such a big deal about the C2 T.V.s having virtually no boarder, though. Personally, I'd much rather it if they still had about a 4cm black border, like my previous LG T.V. had. Contrary to their claim, I found the black boarder actually helped to reduce outside distractions.
I was very apprehensive about the remote control, because of the cursor function. Fortunately, one press of a cursor key changes from cursor mode to regular mode. A quick shake of the remote and it goes back to cursor mode. The cursor can be handy for quickly moving between set-up menus, on a large T.V, but I doubt I'll use it for regular use. I imagine it would be very annoying on a screen smaller than 50".

I like G2 but some of them confusing me that G2 model was producing more heat in the pannel because of the brightest ever display in OLED segment and it was 30% more brighter than C2
So I am afraid and little bit confusing to buy G2
So what i am asking is that did you face any heating issues in the G2 pannel
I have not done any direct testing when it comes to heat, but if you want a simple answer to the C2 or G2 then go for the G2 if funds allow it.

Can't give you any for the C2, but i could do them on the G2 and you could try them on the C2. Can't imagine they would be a million miles off.

The bigger the screen doesn’t mean better , you go to big you can loose quality in the picture 55” is good lounge size for picture quality without loosing anything

“The update introduces an issue in 24fps content when you have adjust logo brightness set to high and real cinema set to on.
Enable those settings then reboot the tv to see what I’m talking about.
It messes up bright scenes and gives a “dirty overlay” to the image.
To see it more clearly, temporarily set your black level to 100 and it will be more apparent.”

With newer models taking longer to burn in I am happy with my c3 purchase even if the blue led in 2024 will make burn in obsselete in the coming years if I can get 7 years of filmaker mode out of my tv then great 👍
Can someone tell me the difference between all the C2? Like C21LA, C25LB, C22LB, C26LD(think this one was like 200€ more expensive than the rest aswell) really need help to understand
These additional numbers and letters are the least important. They indicate the sales region, type of broadcast tuner and the type of stand the TV uses.

If funds aren't an issue then just go for a C2, it's the best out of the bunch. That said, if you want to save some cash then go for the C1 as it is still a very good TV and there ins't a massive difference between the two.

The C2 will complement the PS5, but if you want to save some money then try and bag a C1, almost as good as the C2, but will be considerably cheaper due to it being a 2021 model.

I’m in the process of saving up for an LG C2 (or B2 if I can find it at a better price). This will be my first OLED and I know it’s $1000+ price tag will be worth the wait.
I was thinking of getting a TCL R655 but after hearing complaints of TCL’s having ghosting in games and washed out HDR, I’m not taking any chances.
Sometimes its better to invest a good amount, being cheap gets you low quality soon broken products most of the time. In this case def save up, know when to be cheap hahah

But I stil can't find the right TV setting for me.. with gaming its alright.

Im sticking with my CX, C2 is just like a expansion pack :)
Keep in mind that these videos are also helpful to people who are looking around to replace their old tv, not everybody is changing tvs every year.

Am i the only one that thinks the c2 being thiccer is better i find it so satisfying and beautiful and with that grey colour it gives a nostalgic feeling
I didn't like the old versions i found it too thin that it would be hard to hold or dangerous around children

It's a really good TV mate.
Put it this way, I'd buy it with my own money.
That said, if I was on a bit more of a budget I'd definitely look at last years C1, some good deals around.

Giant we should not be so excited about higher brightness or so called higher nits why its bcoz if you are watching very very often such content your tv will get shorter live .Thats why i am also reading details why we cant be excited.
