Or the 2018 season when the Ferrari was the fastest car, but Lewis was flawless and perfected the championship drive and won in the slower car. He would have clearly won in the Ferrari that year also (Said by the Ferrari president at the time btw.).

Schumacher, Kimi, Vettle, and even Alonso has never had such words as "His washed" thrown at them. Yet in their lata years they were getting murdered on the track. As for Alonso he hasn't won a race in over 10 years. Danny Ric has lost form for awhile now yet fans keep trying to call him back, but here we are, its Lewis that gets told "his washed". F1 logic is at an all time low with no critical thinking behind it.

What are you talking about? Schumi, Kimi nor Seb were not "murdered", they were all better constantly better than their teammates and had good racecraft. Seb got podium and Kimi passed 10 cars in one start. They of course had also bad moments but overall they were okay. Alonso has been very fast and brave when the car is right; at the moment he seems to be fighting with motivation after a decent start.

@aubanurmi No you're missing the point I'm making. In their prime they were all unstoppable, but during the tail end of their careers they struggled. Kimi wasn't winning, Alonso is still present but hasn't won a race in over 10 years. Nico destroyed Schumacher, and both Danny Ric and Leclerc got the better of Vettle. All this being done, nobody was chanting they are "washed" However Lewis finished 3rd only last season, and is still showing how competitive he is, but yet people are saying he is the one that is "washed"

Eddie makes a good point about Max's late surges. If GPs were 350 in stead of 300 kms, it would probably be all that much harder to beat Max. Why? Time equalized eternal factors and with RBR's operations and Max being the top of the bill, together they overcome a whole lot of attrition. Imagine a late safety car, with 2 laps to go. Who'd you fancy for the win then? Piastri was catching Max was catching Lewis.

British GP was fantastic as a Brit in the crowd for 3days. The qualifying and the race were just exhilarating to see. Where I was everyone was decent towards Max and sport won.
However, the experience was tainted. Just to try to send a message to Silverstone, if anyone cares, they need to sort out the general circulation spaces. Mud, flooded areas now her to escape. Open sided marquee shelters would do is, one Cadbury tent and Logo kids zone, WTF. We know the UK has the potential to be bad in July but virtually no provision to escape under cover it in the general circulation space is just poor customer service. Silverstone is an expensive exploitative experience. I had a covered Grandstand moving out for food and facilities and standing about in filth getting soaked with nowhere to shelter is unacceptable.

not a lewis fan but if he can he should stay at mercedes- the ferrari contract can be gotten out of- if a driver doesn’t want to drive for you why force them

Eddie in essence is irrelevant in F1 except in his little mind, Lewis is on a different planet to other drivers including my beloved Senna, but also as a business man which doesn't sit well with bank clerk Eddie. Jordan you've made your money now bugger off

What I think may happen in the coming races is Mercedes will falter, Mclaren will slip back, Ferrari will miraculously climb back up the grid, and later Red Bull will suddenly drive off into the distance again having turned the power back up. Of course this isn't normal, because it seems to be ever so slightly manipulated to make it more interesting.

Very confused about all the shit talk regarding what they said about Lewis before this race. It seems like it was all facts, being constantly beat by Russell. I would also say it’s accurate that his performance at silverstone shows a lot of hope that he is in fact “back”. We will see in Hungary but it sounds like people just like to be bitter and emotional. They are commentators, let them commentate on what’s happening at these races, performances change and momentum is built and lost.

Lewis basically showed that you and DC have no idea at all. In fact this has demonstrated convincingly why no one should take notice of the both of you and I've stopped your video and will never return. The people who are truly washed up and desperately seeking attention are you two.

Firstly, McLaren stuffed up, Max was out performing the former best car, Ferrari have fell off a cliff (ask Leclerc for his lotto numbers,,, so I can pick completely opposite numbers) and it looks like Merc have finally pulled their head out of their own self loved (but victimised) backsides
