Objectively speaking, 3:30 - 4:00 you did a very poor job of showing the "deterioration over time" in your visual difference to explain why it's worth $600/yr+ to pay for an HOA. No knocked over "dumpsters" (garbage can maybe?), didn't see any weeds anywhere, many people have 2+ vehicles just for a single person such as myself, "trailers everywhere" oh my goodness. Alert the media! Which neighborhood were you bad mouthing? Looked quite nice to me, only issue was the one home with 3 cars OUTSIDE of the driveway sticking out onto the street. I'd buy a home there in a heartbeat. The arrogance in your video is sad. edit - "for $25/mo your neighbors will be held accountable to clean up after themselves" as he's showing a really clean neighborhood, a fence here and there is missing a plank, and people aren't bringing their trashcans back up to the house after trash day. My goodness. The life you have had and the life I have had are so different. I've traveled for a living for over 5 years and this is just laughable. My home now, all my previous apartments and 2 previous homes, all the traveling I've done, there is hardly anything you showed that could be looked down on. Seriously, which neighborhood was that you were badmouthing, i'm looking for a home in ABQ and would gladly live there in that clean and nice neighborhood with nice-ass looking houses where the snobby people such as yourself turn your nose and keep driving. Shameful.

I will NEVER live in an HOA community. Too many horror stories. I'd rather deal with a neighbor who's got 3 cars parked out front than letters from the HOA board telling us that my wife planted too many plants out front, or that I didn't get permission to paint the house trim THAT color. I'm not paying a group of busy-bodies to tell me what I can and cannot do with MY house...

    • @AllAboutABQ

And bed bugs! Someone moved into my apt. comples last Summer who had been staying in an infested motel while he looked for an apt. Ne we have a bugdemic. The owner waasn't doing much, but he sold the entire block to a real estate C. who is going to get rid of them. I hope. I've been fighting them for a year without getting rid of them. I thinki that's because they move around the complex. * Chucky in the drain!

@@AllAboutABQ It can be done, but it takes pro equipment to do it. I don't think the new owners of the property knew about these squatters until after the deal was done Heating the apt. to 122 degrees or a little over for about 10 hours does the trick. That'd ruin the print head on my photo printer and photographs.
