Crazy to think that the juggernaut was only cut because it was too late to implement into the campaign in halo 2. It had it’s own smooth animations, gimmick and design and doesn’t seem to bug at all it would’ve been a huge part of halo 2 toward the end of the campaign, especially in legendary. Also, CE fuelrods are crazy strong. And I don’t think you’d be able to damage (let alone kill in one swing) the juggernaut with swords in halo 2, but the CE mechanics usually go against that

2:22 Stand alone Golden bazooka elite against tha world, that moments, even when he dies, with two granades killed everyone. He even started to fight melee, and when he finished, he started to shoot the dead bodies, for then die in such kamikaze way. That elite was an epic gamer.
Love the changes/fixes you made to the Halo 2 Flood Juggernaut, looks incredibly fun and fair to fight (the arms being destructible fits the themes of fighting the flood, too bad Bungie was too short on time and planned for the Juggernaut be a boss which when killed would make all flood forms around it inactive, which would be pretty boring compared to what you did with the Juggernaut).
In hindsight, it probably wasn't just time. As we haven't seen the Juggernaut appear in later games or even anything similar to it. They had a lot of stuff planned, and a lot of stuff was scrapped.

Boy, do I have news for you. That thing WAS an enemy. It’s a cut enemy that was meant to be used in High Charity and Quarantine Zone (+ maybe a few other missions). The combat forms were probably an added function here. I recall reading or hearing somewhere that the death of a Juggernaut was actually supposed to result in nearby combat forms collapsing.
