i have a stock one w/ 4.60 dunlop d605 rear tops at 153kmh about 95mph. no problem cruisin at 120kmh(75ish mph). im about 80kg. but that sound of that exhaust, damn so good. contemplating whether i should get Moto X or FMF. great vid !!
I have motox , 550 ecu, dna air filter and a cbr intake I can run 90. The unstable part adjust your sag on your shock. The high front fender also causes the unstable front on a light bike.
I removed the centre restriction the honey come. Do you have the full system? I do. Mine goes up to 85 Did you do the throttle reset? Switch ignition on, don't start engine, rotate throttle grip 3 times from fully closed to fully open. Switch ignition off and on, start n ride. I love the bike also.
Try the latest Honda nx 500.it's the CB500x but better. And looks better. You'll see 120 on that. And keep the 300. I've the 300 and Africa twin. Perfect duo
I'm not a fan of the XR650L. I knew what the 300L was about before I got it. I'm pretty much just speaking of the huge loss on top end once I installed the exhaust. I posted another video tho, I removed the spark arrestor. Now its back where it should be. Easily gets well above 70. Topped out at 84 the other day
It’s frustrating how honda changed next to nothing new on the Xr since 1993. The bike is literally the same build with very minor changes to the design. The bike is so old style looking with no digital speedometer and dont get me wrong that big floppy front fender 🤮. Man does that look ugly compared to the 300s front fender. Also why they made the Xr650L air cooled makes no sense in 2022, why not liquid cooled lol
@@JeremyDovin im currently rocking the XLR 200. Its the best considerung the weight to power ratio. Maybe it's so good that people tend to keep it for a long time causing some financial loss for Honda.
Thank for sharing man. It was fun listening to what you had to share about the back
Hello fellow CRF300l friend. Great content! Stay safe riding out there!✊🏻
Thanks so much. I'm new to TH-cam. I really appreciate the kind words 💓

Is your bike stable at high speeds?
I got d606's stock tops out at 72 flashing. 180lbs flat.
They're the same exhaust dude. The Moto x and Ebay FMF are both FMF design copies. The Moto X is better quality of the 2.
I love my 2023 honda xr150l OffRoad
I have a 300L and I've been looking at the 150s. They are sweet. Can you cruise at 80kmh or should I say what rpm are you at

I noticed the same performance change with Arrow exhaust and Stage 1 550. lost high rpm top speed but have way more bottom end and mid range.
Thanks for the info

How was it with original exhaust?
It's lean, get the ecu before you melt it down.

Do you think the Xr650L would be a better option than the crf300L because apparently that can hit 100mph top speed and can cruise at 70mph no problem?

I cruise at 70 all day with no worries on my 2017 rally
Ok cool
Get you a DRZ 400 supermoto you’ll thank me later
@ShinyKnife I've ridden a few. I like the power but overall I prefer the 300L. It runs better since removing the spark arrestor
I have xr150l and 60mph and find it troubling that the crf300 is only doing 70mph
It'll do over 80. The spark arrestor in my MotoX exhaust was killing my top end
why is it not stable above 70?
Very light, soft suspension and high center of gravity
so is the wobble normal or no people say its not but i feel like its the bike
I don't like to call it normal, but it's very very common. Hopefully it works itself out when I change my front tire soon
@@CajunEscapades were u on stock tires in this?
@@yuy389 yes. Stock front

Put Some 50/50 Tires On It Instead Of The.Stock Nobbies
I have not ridden my bike over 45 mph for fear of crosswind destabilizing the bike, center of gravity is just too high.
Tell me you didn't ride dirt bikes as a kid wide open down back roads without telling me. 😂😂
Sounds gay af
@@17madracki17dude his comment is almost a year old, I don’t think he’ll even look at it😂
I got my 2021 to 85 mph but I since put a 45t rear sprocket and it's much better taking off but lost some top end
Give and take. I got my MPH back after I removed the spark arrestor. 87 tops. Usually about 83 tho
