      You do know that guys went 5s in the quarter with a 4.6 4v almost 15 years ago with a stock block, stock crank and stock style ported heads right? This has kind of all been done before the coyote is just doing it again lol. People act like the mod motors can't put in work they were going that fast before the coyote even existed. The coyote is better off the bat because it's much newer but built vs built the old 4v can hold its own and then some.

      Modular engine and Coyote are all based on the Romeo. That is Ford constantly working on its engines. Why do you feel Ford needed to do this before 2017?

      Accufab took the 4.6 4V to 3,000 hp with oe block, heads and timing components. 5.88 @ 256mph. Additionally, the old school modular 5.4 holds the standing mile world record 300.4 mph.
      The modular is still king.

    Lol cleetus considers him the dark realm a stock block stock crank 5.2 predator 2800whp which translates to about 3100hp vs every combo ls you can build and it takes a 680+/- Steve Morris billet engine with twins and he still can't catch that snot car....love ford's technology, yeah we had those bastard yrs of a 4.6 sohc or even the dohc 4.6/5.4 max 450hp for ford to let Australia design the architecture of the 5.0 and boom.. I have a 16 however my only complaints with the coyote is that yesteryear technology does nothing really for the engines..they are so well built they don't need much to run differently..mine is a 2nd gen with a 3rd gen intake, Kooks long tubes and a cold air intake...500ish crank 331hp tire 430tqish crank 391tq@wheel so no its not a lot but 70hp basically and 40tq from 3 mods plus tune at vmp roughly 1800.00ish...but I'm pretty much capped without changing hard parts..as the coyote doesn't off a lot of room NA...if I went e85 well that's 40hp +tq but corn juice I just don't trust as a streetable drivable fuel...I'd rather run aircraft fuel...I digress the 6 speed manual makes drag racing difficult considering that the m82 isn't the best, and consistency is key and you need a t56 or a tko or better tranny to make it consistent. Again it's a street car...but my rpm cap is 7800 and my dyno sheet shows its pulling to 7600 that's nuts for a stock block stock everything...and btw I have about 2500.00 in coils, throttle body and maf, and a billet hybrid shifter that besides the shifter does nothing for the coyote out of the box so the days of bolt ons are practically over...

      Dude you are clueless. The coyote is awesome but to sit there and diss on the older 4v stuff when they've went faster than coyotes on oem parts too makes you look uneducated. • @midnight347
      @midnight347 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The coyote don't have alot of room na? You can easily make like 140 whp above stock with a gen 2 coyote with fbo, cj and cams with a stock bottom end. I wouldn't call that "not alot of room for hp na" you sound like you don't know much about what you're talking about.

    • @midnight347
      @midnight347 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The old 4v from the 90s revved to 7000 stock and can Rev to 7800 with nothing more than an aftermarket ecu. They are forged rods and pistons away from being able to make well over 1000 whp from 4.6 liters. Keep in mind this engine is from the 90s. The coyote is better setup factory (it should be it's 20+ years newer) but it's not the be all end all.
