The leather part will definitely stretch, but the part that provides all the lockdown through the mid-foot isn't leather, so over stretching isn't an issue. Still, if you like a super tight, responsive fit and feel, the Copa 19+ probably isn't a great choice. Laceless boots in general won't provide that feeling.

Heating the boots will soften the material of the upper for sure, but wearing the boots will achieve the exact same effect after 10 minutes.
I find the best way to seat my feet in my boots, is to put them on and do part of my warm up as well as jogging/running without tying my laces, which allows my feet to expand in the boots and then I tie my laces without the sense of them being too tight.
I use double socks just as some extra fabric between my feet and the boot just in case I get stepped on. Probably doesn't add any extra protection but it helps me feel better lol.
The best mates make your cleats fits or loosen them up a bit if they're too small is taking a bag of cold water and putting it in the freezer the water will van expand and and loosen up your cleats but do note that you could get water in your cleats and Ruin them so this trick is risky

I don’t really want to pay the extra money although I can afford it, I just don’t think that it is believably worth it unless there is a massive difference in comfort and performance

The Indonesian made version is still excellent. I'd say it's about 90% of what you get with the MIJ version.
