Matti you make a good midwife. All good from east KY USA. Wonderful to see new babies. Pretty puppies. Look very healthy. I've raised many dogs. Some will kill their own, others will kill them as well. Never trust any kind of bird dog. Setters or Brittany Spaniels. In nature the fittest survive, other get lucky so don't. That's just how it is. Good vid Matti. Sled time.
@ wonderful to hear. In the UK they are one of the most breeds of dogs that get abandoned / given up for adoption. We have two rescues ourself and my wife runs a charity that fund raises for a number of dedicated sled dog rescues in the UK.

Maybe you know all this but.. 'Top tip'... lie (near the puppies) on the ground on your back and make sucking sounds, be sure to film your face :-). Another 'top tip' is if you are outside and want them to come to you, make vomiting noise. You will never have seen them run so hard towards you. Congratulations!! Beautiful pups and Wauw, Ida is stunning!
Yes it's so nice to lay on the floor with them but never try doing vomiting sounds. Guess the "interest" from the pups depends if the mom is vomiting up food for them or not. Not all moms do. /Stina
@@JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA My dog never vomited yet the pups came running to me like they were in a race. I think it's just instinct. But do try the lying on your back and mimic their sucking sounds. It's so funny what they do.
