Excellent video I used this today to fix mine, I used a loop of string instead of the hook but could never have done it without watching this first.

i will advise u to use the plastic thin wire to take out the spring metal instead of using the hook for re-install the lock, u can slide out the wire easily after fixed

What happens if you forgot to follow the intructions and before you put the bandke back the metal thing where you need to put the handle behind.. Drops inside the door.. And handle goes free movement.. What happens then to get it back?

there is metal clip on upper side that holds in place, when you putting it back you need to press and it will pull in the handle in place! no need of the hooks to pull if that upper clip stop is in place properly just little tap.

I figured an easier way of putting back the handle. Use the hole where you opened the bolt.
