I teach high school. This morning I described the game to my 17-year-old students as if it were a hypothetical situation and asked them if this sounded like something they would consider putting any money into. Most said probably not, a few said maybe a small amount. Then I asked if it would convince any of them if they knew that Logan Paul was endorsing it. One of the maybe guys called out, "That would convince me NOT to do it." They all told me that just because somebody's famous that doesn't mean it's a good idea to risk money on some idea that they come up with. Somebody said that they'd be worried that he'd do something to mess it up on purpose just to be funny. That's when I let them know that this was real. I said that this isn't something I would be interested in either, but I'm not a member of his target audience so I was curious to know their opinion. Their reaction, "What? You think we're his target audience?" Some of them, I think jokingly, acted insulted by the idea. I asked him who then was the target audience was then if it wasn't them. According to them it's middle schoolers.

He is also a “pro wrestler.” Now one of the most entertaining nights of my more than 50 year life was watching pro wrestling (even if the audience was the most entertaining portion). But how does anyone “trust” that a guy making millions from stupidity would actually provide me a way to make money??
Journalism of this form is so important. I don’t even feel like I can trust anything nowadays, so it’s refreshing that you did your due diligence of journalism despite being threatened legally. That earned my respect and trust.
You could never trust anything. Pretty much everything you see is designed by someone with an agenda (which is likely to get your money). Apart from nature, that's always been honest.
I especially appreciate him putting all of the interview into the video showing he was really trying to see both ends of the story. Im laughing so much about the way he was arguing with the manager hahaha
No he tried to scare coffee into not writing about the situation: - "Reporting something that hasn't be verified is illegal and we'll react accordingly if you do so." -"That's why I'm calling, I'd like you do verify the accusation." - "I have no comments." meaning "I'm not gonna verify the accusations so you can't report on it". Obviously it's bullshit but I wonder if it works on smaller independent journalists or average people trying to break down a story.

People are easily manipulated. They see a million people getting excited about something and they assume that it must be legit. And people can't tell the difference between adults and children on anonymous accounts. You see this mentality a lot when it comes to the drama channels when they start spreading entirely baseless rumors, the 100 people who rightly challenge the claims get drowned out by 200,000 12-year-olds that just believe everything they hear from a channel they like. Internet culture is turning the western world into drooling simpletons.
You can trust them if you want, but you shouldn't trust them if they're doing something shady with 3 former criminals. Two of which stole $7,000,000 from Logan, making the dickwad that caused this to happen to begin with say that he didn't scam them, even though he did.
Rewatching this just to laugh at the interview with Logan's manager. "You are required to report the truth" "Okay, tell me the truth" "I will tell you nothing, also don't report the others' words because they have evidence backing it"

I am getting sick that nothing happens to these bad scammers!

This is the biggest Logan Paul video since that forest
You commented this 2 minutes after the video was puplished. The video is 24 minutes long. Please explain.
Ah, yes, i remember the catastophic controversy that came out of logan paul disrespecting a dead guy

Hopefully not as bad as SBF this time

Not taking sponsors and taking patreons instead is great, it keeps you unbiased. Awesome work, whoop!
Absolutely!💟
1000 Somervale Court S.W.
There's always bias, but at least it won't be influenced by money from shady people.
Edit: personally I would move away from Patreon. They have been shady in the past, and most likely still is. Rather not do business with them folk either.
Yeah, that doesn't make someone unbiased, just not beholden to THOSE interests. Being watcher funded creates a new set of incentives and biases separate from sponsors (And arguably less "damaging")
Keeps him biased to patreon investors, much like most big corps
this video is well done, it’s very admirable that you don’t take sponsors but make incredibly produced content like this, nice job 👑
Coffee I've been subbed to your channel since you were a young, beardless lad with shelves behind you. I've seen you evolve and grow without losing yourself in the process. Kudos, man. Your integrity is exemplary.

I feel pretty sad about the fact that fully grown adults were tricked by a guy who literally did this already once before, all kinds of sadness. There will always be someone trying to take what is yours in this world, unfortunately a lesson many people don't learn at a young age.
I'm surprised these guys are willing to admit on camera that they trusted Logan Paul. I understand why some of them wanted to blur their face
Grown men following and trusting an influencer deserve to lose their money. I hope they lost their fertility too. No way should they reproduce more brain dead people into this world.

Remember this, folks. If they say it’s a Crypto-related idea that says it’ll make you money, that is the biggest red flag that it’s a fat scam!
Exactly, I don't know how anybody didn't noticed that.
Think about it, the idea being presented here is:
You give us a little money up front as an initial investment and eventually our thing will make you money. How does it make sense financially in any conceivable way?
That's like saying if it says it will make you money, it's a scam. Most projects are there to make money. That's the point.

The manager call is insane to me. I'll never understand how people like him get so far in life. Seriously, you do the journalistic thing and call the guy to give him a heads up and give him the chance to comment and the guy threatens you showcasing that either he's dumb or doesn't know how journalism work. Unbelievable.
They’re taking the Elon route which is deny, deflect and try to bully everyone who calls you out on your bs
they get there by stepping on a backstabbing 100 other good people who would love to and probably deserve to be in their position.
They get there because they are a bunch of lying hypocritical narcissists that back stab and virtue signal to the right people. Just like a celebrity or a politician(mostly left wing ones but both).

Better be the mythically rare golden goose’s eggs.
Exactly, how the fuck is that possible?
Wouldn't you at least spend 1000 or 10000 and see how it works first?
And if you have half a million why would you ever do something as stupid as this?
You could literally buy any blue chip stock that's currently down and make 100k+ in the next year or two.

This channel oozes quality. Keep up the great work. Fake influencers have finally met their match. Accountability tastes so good
They need to report him to the SEC and consumer protection bureau. He’s enough of a public figure they’d be more than happy to make an example out of him.
Problem is the SEC doesn’t seem to interested in online fraud by social media influencers.
Why does the US not jail this type of person? My country, Brazil, is a shithole, but I don't think our SEC and justice system is this lenient with criminals like that.
Why dont they then. You think their blind? they see what he does, and he's obviously paying them off or something
I’m not sure the SEC has jurisdiction and we might not want them too because it would mean bailouts and too big to fail bullish!t. Instead the FBI or some other agency going after fraud should bust him.
Yeah like the SEC actually had a chairman that was running the biggest and longest running Ponzi in History.

I can just picture Levin's lawyer listening to that call. A brief moment of relief when his client actually says no comment, then having a heart attack as he promptly throws that out the window with the weirdest passively threatening statement ever.
Well he's not really threatening him with anything, because he's saying "you would be doing something illegal and that's not allowed so you can't do that" and he's just telling Coffeezilla that he's not allowed to publish these "fake news" and because he says that it's fake news, then it's fake news.
