I think both of these are very similar if not using the stabilization and flip up screen (which I wont). There are a couple shots i noticed where the rxo ii looks like it retains a little more color but thats with very long inspection. What are your thoughts? Do you think that the rxo ii has better image quality (no stabilization)?
I think the hardware (sensor, lens) involved in these two types of photography is the same. So I think the image quality is the same🤔 (If you feel that the image quality is different after watching this video: RX0II uses electronic image stabilization, so if you use it, the angle of view will be narrower. Simply put, this means that you are shooting with a smaller sensor size. As a result, the image quality will decrease.) In the RX0II, the video processing functions have been updated internally (4K internal recording, electronic image stabilization), and the monitor is now movable, so I think that's about the only change. The RX0II is equipped with an electronic level that the RX0 did not have, but I think this is probably due to the addition of a gyro to perform electronic image stabilization. If you don't need 4K internal recording or electronic image stabilization, the RX0 may be fine🤔
@@BikeFunJapan i realized the 4k internal and the fact that the rx0 doesnt have it is quite sad. The screen and eis dont matter to me but for almost $200 cheaper, i may just have to record to an external flash drive.
hi, I wonder if you know whether the "back" cover (cover the sdcard/hdmi/multi) is the same on RX0 and RX0M2? (in case you have both devices on hand, could you please check?) I lost the RX0M2 back cover, so not sure If I can use RX0 back cover as replacement. Thanks!
@@kyletang870 Hi! actually I have the same question as you and was finding the answer for RX0 back cover replacement. As I see in the pictures both look the same however i wanna make sure one more time. Could you please tell me the result? Is the RX0 back cover fit correctly into RX0M2? Thank you a lot.
@@pamita95 yes, it does. Already used it for a while. But I only try to use it under water once only, it seems to be working too, not 100% sure about water proofing.
In terms of the concept of this product, it seems that handheld video shooting is not considered very much🧐 There is no optical image stabilization to keep it compact. If you really need image stabilization with this camera, you have no choice but to use a gimbal…😅
Thank you!!☺️ I think they both had similar battery life. And the battery for RX0 Series has a very small capacity, so I think a spare battery is essential😅
Manual focus is fantastic when swimming around and taking action photos. Most cameras AF goes crazy when you have droplets on the lens/housing. RX0 has no peers for the price if you want a cheap waterproof camera that actually takes a decent photo. Gopro photos are an absolute disgrace in comparison and same with those Nikon TG ones they are terrible.

I don't understand, why can't an electronic companies for these video recording devices just add Stabilization to their products?

WHo the F need manual focus on such a device and why the H should you take the stabilizer off.
