I'd trade like 15 Athena's chests to sink someone that salty.
I've done it once. Got about 25 villainous skulls from it too. He only typed, but about 2/3rds of the words were censored.
I love getting them on stream! Laughed at this one crew for a solid hour while being called every name under the sun by one dude.

When we were going to sell we saw them coming in to the distance. We managed to lose them in the mist, we sold most of it except 1 ashen chest and we saw them coming towards this outpost. I waited for them to get to the outpost to sell the last chest in front of them and wave at them :p
my favorite part is at 7:34 when the enemy sloops bird starts making a dive move at phuzzy xD

I don't think I can change your mind, but all my experience with salt/toxic ships usually last long and they refuse to go down, unless it's to take me with them out of spite

I have about 90 hours in sea of thieves, after the first 10 (in which i couldnt pvp if my life depended on it) i started watching you. Earlier today i was solo slooping and sank 2 other duo sloops. Thank you for your guides!
It really helps with those that know even less than you do. I'm relatively new as well and all those PvP content creators really raised my skill level by sheer imitation but if the other crew is even remotely competent, I definitely lose. The sole fact that one can do the exact same stuff I do while another boards me constantly is already enough of a gamechanger.
I see many comments about the guy's screams but dude... That long range ladder-cannon-shot you made when you were first chasing the brig... That was impressive! Well played!

Just started playing again (i played a tiny tiny bit during release but never was any good) with my girl. We finished part 1 of the ashen quest, sunk 2 skele ships and played somber music as we sailed past a roaring volcano... (we died!) but watching your videos got me back into this game, and me and the lady are absolutely loving it. Thanks Phuzzy, man!

Not entirely uncommon with some people. Especially when they are level 5 emissary.
They ran away from a fair fight. Most of their kind want to sink solo sloops for easy targets, just to annoy and make them angry.

Me and 2 others were in devils roar doing athena and finished it. We went to sell it and these exact two guys came outta nowhere. We literally checked everything before we parked. Anyways, some of it was our fault as well probably.
After they rammed us we quickly went and sold athena to level it up and lowered the emissary flag. (Note that most of the loot was unsold when they sunk us). We were basically done as 1 of our guys died and all the loot was at their ship but because there was no athena stuff left they started bitching about what pussies we are.
Like, legit, they got most of our shit and were still cursing our families :|

Yes! Running was always a thing, but emissary made it 3 or 4 times more common. As you can sell loot at any point of the chase, thorough a rowboat or something. But flags are usually aimed to be level 5 before selling. It's a part of the ships that's "not ready yet" so players tend to avoid any conflict until they drop it at level 5

Emissaries are actually quite uncommon in my region, we hop for them sometimes and salivate when we get 3 or more, knowing at least one of them will go down before we leave the dock haha!

And of course if they were to say anything negative about this experience, the community would tell them that, obviously, it's their own fault they got sunk, don't they already know they have to constantly stare at the horizon if they don't want to be snuck up on? Or that they should have attacked first, or not defend themselves, or run away (against the wind obviously), or to just 'git gud' or play a different game.
And Rare still can't figure out why a lot of new players don't stick around long.

As much as it is anoying I think raging is perfectly fine because as much as being sunk is part of the game people that are good at pvp can ruin hours of progress when you can't fight back because there better than you and it is a three vs one. And before anyone says I'm saying this because I rage I don't.

They didn't need the Emissary Flags don't lie they should call the game sea of assholes. Got Chase for 3 hours and didn't even have an emissary flag or any treasure

I had a fight exactly like this last night. Some gally came out of nowhere and he got bombarded by our alliance after he tried to kill one of us. Then he got hit by another sloop and a brig.
