Legends rejoice! Sea of Thieves FINALLY introduced a brand new Pirate Legend exclusive voyage! I'm sure many of you Pirate Legends enjoy having a new grind to sink your teeth into since there isn't a lot of endgame content to do that with.

And here I almost thought that plot point was too subtle!
It is funny too because it happened to me once where I was afk as a barrel in the tavern only to return to hear cannons fired at my boat and people screaming "Get the chest to the tavern!" I did feel bad that they weren't able to get the chest in since they only set one person to carry/guard the chest in.

I love how they were making fun of Atheana emissaries being paranoid all the time, and then five minutes later shot down a new ship, in fear of being sunk again

Yo cliff, did you know that when another crew starts the legend of the veil voyage, you can hide in the tornado if they're not close yet. It makes you as good as invisible to them while you can see everything, great way to surprise attack other pirates and even steal their athena loot.

I went in and got flung outside the map boundaries. Probably a glitch but it was funny
Prettys ure it's bugged where you fly across the map on your ship (which is the funniest shit I've ever seen)

Love to see friendly pirates, when i watched there betrayal i thought of how unbelievable they were, but when it was on purpose just to spice the video up, bro you really got me there thinking that they were terrible people.

Cliff the way you unceasingly narrate your videos makes me feel insane but the editor in me is constantly impressed with your pacing and the way you condense a session into an engaging narrative. Props for developing this style and congrats on the growth so far!

The problem I love about this channel is that these videos are so good that I can’t watch anyone else. Love you’re channel keep going.
I'm not sure what combination of factors made the algorithm decide to add your videos to my recommended but I am very glad it did. I'm a sucker for crew type games like Guns of Icarus and Barotrauma but when I looked at Sea of Thieves when it first came out but it seemed a bit too light on content for me to jump in and I had since forgotten about it. Your videos are great and I've found myself watching them all and it seems like its time to give Sea of Thieves a second look. Love your stuff! Its got a very relaxed and friendly vibe and the voice over narration to keep a nice through line during the edits makes for some great videos. I've been looking around a fair bit as I've been considering picking of Sea of Thieves and your videos have absolutely been second to none!
As a solo slooper that "I haven't checked the horizon in 13 seconds" is very true. The barest hint of a mast and, depending on what I've got, I'm going the opposite direction.

As I watch more of this channel and learn more about sea of thieves, I'm basically getting two vibes.
Help out a new player because you'll get a fort full of loot (obviously an exaggeration, iykyk) and also, don't trust anybody because if you stack fort of the damned with an alliance you'll get betrayed.
At the end of the day, I've learned absolutely nothing other than I love this game the more I look into it lmao
35 and only discovered sea of thieves last year when old school friends introduced me to a couple of nights on the seas. My friend used to have an online handle of "Captain Bastard" so we renewed the old gang's love for dirty online tactics and had lots of fun being kids again. Your videos have made me redownload and I hope, though I have less time and chances to play with people now, to sail the seas and meet some fun loving people on this fun game again!

With that being said I wanna thank you for all the efferts you put in this videos,recently my will of playing has decreased because of all the toxic communities of all games but SoT:for me it feels like home,a game to play and be happy to play it
There are not many content creators for this game and finding your channel has made my day one week ago and still your stories give me the same feelings

Great as always! I will add a small strategy comment. It barely happens but if there is another crew at the same location I send a decoy treasure to see if players are hostile. Reconnaissance never hurt.

Your comments on Athena emissaries in previous video always made me think "I can't wait until he experiences this pain firsthand". And lo and behold...
Then again, the new Legend of the Veil voyage is perhaps paradoxically much quicker and safer than the previously available Athena ventures, as those either make you sail all over the map or constrain you in one small region, easily checked by server hoppers. It also gives you a grade five flag just for completing it thoroughly, when you need up to two standard voyages for the same result.
It's a far fetch from something like a Thieves Haven run for sure, which I guess was the goal? I'm sure Rare wants to see more people running Athena since that barrier to entry made it very unappealing

I actually really enjoyed playing this voyage!
Had an ambush like the one you set up at the end happen to me the first time I went to sell an athena chest. The guy whiffed really bad and I sold the chest before killing him myself, so it was pretty funny. Even if I had died, I was only selling it because the 2 galleon alliance I was in was letting the newbie turn in their first athena (I'm still not pirate legend myself yet), so the ambusher would have been dealing with like 6 more guys killing him. It was a pretty fun way to end that voyage.
Me and some friends were stacking loot, we saw the tornado and were absolutely bamboozled, we raced to it as we had never seen it before. It caused our ship to glitch, sending us to the battle zone, much to the surprise of the crew doing it, then they chased us away while we were screaming “WHat THE FuCk did that tornado thing do!!??” They came back a while later. Amazing experience
Hi Cliff! I love your videos and have an interesting challenge for you! Me and my buddy already took it on and did it first try and I think you’d enjoy it! The challenge is to complete every Siren Shrine and Treasury in one run. It can be tough but it’s a great experience and has a great loot haul in the end! :)

Hey cliff! I tried one of the new legend of the veil voyage once, i was at the last stage. And then a brigantine appeared. I thought they were friendly, they even asked me what to do. I just told them to kill the ghost ships as i didn't knew what to do too. Shortly after that one of them snuck onto my boat and blunderblussed me in the back. These guys were quick and before i could respawn my ship had sunk. I tried 2 more times (with a crew) and we easily cleared it!
I'll admit... you got me good with the ending. Damn you, Cliff.
