The reason the heavy cargo goes on the drivers side is highways are built with a rake in them so when it rains the water rolls off into the ditch or shoulder. The center of the road is always higher than the outside edges
The correct way to adjust how far front or back the skis should fit on the trailer is by putting 10-15% of the total weight on the tongue of the trailer.
i just got a jetski and my one bunk is perfectly flat against the hull of the ski, but my other bunk is angle a little down, would i be able to adjust the bunk with the ski still on it to get it to line up better, sitting flatter on the hull?
How does the trailer tow with a heavier machine on one side? I am planning on building a trailer that I can place my Seadoo on one side and my atv on the other side so I can take both on an adventure. My seadoo weighs 100 more lbs than the atv. Do you think this will be a problem?
That part when you drop the Yamaha to the ground and put it on the other trailer, You made it look so easy.. was it? Because I want to replace the bunkers on mine and i didn’t want to go all the way to the lake and do it. I’m afraid that I might need something and I have to leave the jetski at the lake just to go back home for what ever reason I need something.
It wasn't too bad, definitely need a little elbow grease to shake it off and the crank it back on but very doable so you don't have to take it to the lake and launch it.
how do you know far forward or aft to place the waverunner on the trailer? Looks like you might be lining up the boards with the back of the waverunner. I have two 3 person skis and my tounge weight seems very high (can't lift by hand at all). Feels like from a balance standpoint I should move them aft. But the stern would stick out bast the boards. Is this ok to have the ski stick out past the boards?
Tongue weight should be 10% 15% of total trailer weight if I remember correctly. 2 3 seaters can be over 1800 pounds all fueled up, so 10% of that is still a hefty amount. Put the tongue on a scale and find out what your skis weigh to see where your holding.

I always knew to load the driver side of the trailer and never really looked into why. That makes sense, thank you for the knowledge!

Maybe give some actually technical specs on the adjustment i.e. front to back weight balance, maximum clearance under the PWC, ETC....
