I just took the cover off my ski it was sitting outside all winter but it was winterized and all that and there is water down on the bottom floor where the engine is when I take off the seat. Should I be concerned??
Just got a brand new 23 Yamaha waverunner VX model thank you for showing me how to flush the engine properly with the salt cleaner will be getting some of that and thank you for the little trick on the seats I appreciate that to live down here in Florida on the west coast on a homosassa so we got plenty of salt water around us and I thank you very much very informative
Thank you for this video. I'm new to PWCs. I'm considering living on a houseboat in the future, and dont know if I'll end up with a smaller boat carrying a motorcycle to shore, or just buy/build an amphibious motorcycle. Whether I do that or get a dedicated PWC, this video was very helpful. Do you know if that Salt Shifr product is safe for the environment, like you can rinse it off into the ocean, or it's only for going into sewers? It ok either way. Just great to know.
Great video - I have a sea doo GTR 230 and have gained a few black greasy marks on fiberglass near the rear clip that wont wash or wipe off with salty captain detergent. Can you recommend a suitable product to use?
Not a bad suggestion at all, i've used them before for cleaning large boats. Though if you dry your ski off with a dry towel before the water drys, you won't be left with the water spots.
Great video but I’m hoping you can help me with another issue. I have a 2020 Sea Doo GTI like the one behind you. I took the battery out last year and I’ve lost my notes. Of coarse black to negative and red to positive, but there is a much smaller (accessory size wire) and I’m not sure which post to attach to. Anyway you can look in that GTI and tell me what you see?
Fuckin legend! You know when you've just dropped a large amount of your funds that was meant to go towards renovating the house on a new SVHO, you need that detailed walkthrough on how to look after it. Thanks bro, super helpful. Love your channel
I just bought my first Ski and your videos have been so helpful! Thank you so much!
Try a Shop-Vac to pull the water inside the hull and leave it nice and dry.

Great Video. Cant wait to get my ski on the water for the first time and give it a shiny clean up! 😊😊
What about the footwell, how do you get the excess water out?
Great video! Do you do this after ever ride?
Awesome video man. Good to see that we are doing most things right. Have to get some salt shift though.
Cheers mate, yea Salt Shift certainly makes the job bit easier.
Thank you for this video. I'm new to PWCs.

shade is always a good start 2
If you want to go to next level get a demineralised filter attachment for the hose. You won’t end up with water spots.

I always use unicorn tears for any cleaning jobs
Link to buy these cleaners? Thank you
I never leave water in my ski I either use a shop vac or get a blow nozzle and my air compressor might not be damaging by it hurts my OCD 😂
Thank you too much best
Do you have to let it dry before using the anti-corrosive spray?
Hey Jake, it is more effective if you let it dry. However, our lanolin spray does displace water so it would still work just fine.
all the extra headaches of flushing the yamaha engines just remind me of why i brought a seadoo lol.. Awesome video mate!
Do you recommend to do all these steps after every run? Thanks
Hey Aleksei, i would suggest to do it after every run, unless you are planning on taking it out again within the next 24 hours.
Isn’t Salt Shift the same product as Salt Away here in the USA?
Hey Carry,
Absolutely not. We spent 8 months developing our formula on our own so there is nothing else quite like it.
@@JetTechProducts ok. Just curious

Hey mate, appreciate the support. I'd say your best bet is to flick a jet ski mechanic a call and see what they think is best.
Ditch the engine cover. It's no use and you can wash the actual engine without it.
Since I'm a newbie to PWC, when I'm on the lake I only speak in a fake Aussie accent so everyone will think I'm totally legit.
Where i can find the products?
Jump on our website mate! jettech.com
Hello friend, I am thinking of buying a superCharger jet ski. Are they good?
Hey mate, they all have there pro's and con's especially depending on how old they are. All depends on what kind of riding you are wanting to do.
