The reviews keep on coming! I've been able to partner with some great companies because of what I'm doing here and Anarchy
Outdoors is another top notch group of guys I'm happy to work with.
    Check them out: anarchyoutdoors...
They provided me with some awesome bolt shrouds from Titanium Gun Parts to replace the flimsy plastic one (that still gets the job done). We look at their polished titanium, and red and black anodized aluminum shrouds.
For something so simple these shrouds really are an amazing product.

I don't know how you drop the bolt on a rock... where it is positioned I just feel like you'd really have to try to drop the gun on the shroud.

Do they have it in the bronze cerakote to match the Ruger American go wild camo

For those who have two near identical rifles, in different calibers, for example Ruger American Ranches in 7.62 x 39, and in 5.56, these could be used to color code the near identical looking rifles in the safe :)
Red for the one that uses the Russian ammo and black or silver for 5.56 :)

They will not fit the ranch variation, or so I was told by Customer service at Anarchy Outdoors. I have the ranch in 7.62 x39, and was disappointed to hear this.

When i first got my predator I was in my kitchen and pulled the bolt out to get familiar with it. Well, i dropped it that that shroud flew off. I really dont like any plastic on my bolt so i will definitely be ordering this.

I would had like to see the finale completely assembled look. Put the bolt back in the rifle and show us.

Spoke with a member of their customer service, and they will not fit the ranch variation of the rifles.

I got a similar one from Anarchy Outdoors; totally not titanium and did not fit at all.

It sounds like the replacement shrouds rattle.

Ramas Samar they do . I have the glades armory version in aluminum. It rattles, now it really doesn’t make any noise until you unlock it to throw out a spent round .... but that is one advantage of the plastic. No noise , yeah you could break it, highly highly unlikely though. What it would take to break the plastic oem one would bend the aluminum one and probably make it difficult to get off once bent. Honestly .... zero advantage other than looks . Oh and the finish will wear off on the sides when using the bolt. Now I did see one online that had a level bubble built into it. There could be some advantage there maybe .... a very small and 80% useless one but at least a little . They do look good at least.

He never locked it in place either so of course it rattled.

Hey I totally understand! The plastic one that came with it will get you buy for sure, but keep in mind these are machined titanium parts done in small batches and will take a beating that the stock shroud might not. If you take it out hunting a lot it might be worth it to get it to make sure you don't disable your rifle because of bumping something too hard.
Also they've come down to $42 recently. Still a lot, but I believe the part is totally worth it.

I tried to find those on their website, but their site is too confusing and not organized in a simple way so I gave up.
