I got many comments and messages regarding the Indian Army and Other Forces, So I decided to make dedicated videos on these topics. Because there are so many people who want to join the Indian Army but they don't have any knowledge about this like How to join ? Where to apply ? What is the procedure ? etc. Many people have half knowledge about this. In their lack of knowledge, they choose the wrong field, the wrong force, and after many years when they get the right and full knowledge, they regret their decision. Ohh . . it would have been much better if I chose that field instead of this.

What is the Paramilitary?
What are the Forces in these?
What do they do?
What are the fields for us in these Forces?
What would be our job profile, our work, if we join that field?
What would be our salary if we join the Indian Army?
What are the advantages to join the Indian Army?
Indian Security Forces - Indian security forces keep our country safe from internal and external threats and help people in need.
They are divided mainly in 4 categories -
1. INDIAN ARMED FORCES
2. CENTRAL ARMED POLICE FORCES (CAPF)
3. PARAMILITARY FORCES
4. INDIAN AND STATE POLICE FORCES
INDIAN ARMED FORCES - Indian Armed forces keep our country safe from external threats.
They have 3 branches - Army, Nave, Air Force.
They are also called Militray and Defence Forces.
Works under Ministry of Defence.
Supreme Commander - President of INDIA
So if you hear anywhere that the Military was involved in this or the Military is doing this, that means they are not talking about any other forces except these 3 forces or any of these 3 forces.
Almost everyone knows the work of these three forces and the name is also telling itself, so lets jump to the Paramilitary.
PARAMILITARY FORCES
ASSAM RIFLES (AR)
SPECIAL FRONTIER FORCE (SFF)
They Works Under Ministry of Home Affairs but Managed by Military Officers.
SFF - Managed by Military Officers but Works Under The Supervision of Indian Intelligence {Intelligence Bureau (IB)} And Later The Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
NATIONAL SECURITY GUARD (NSG) - Some say that NSG comes under Paramilitary Force and some say that it is a Special Force.
INDIAN COAST GUARD (ICG) - Some say that ICG also comes under Paramilitary Force, Some say that it is a Military Force and some say it is an Independent Force.
We'll know about these two in detail in another video.
AR - Assam Rifles maintenance of law and order in the North East and also guards the Indo-Myanmar border in the region.
SFF - Special Frontier Force covers the sensitive, secret missions. SFF has fought in India's major external wars including the Bangladesh Liberation War and the Kargil War.
CENTRAL ARMED POLICE FORCES (CAPF) -
Works under Ministry of Defence, Their main role is to defend the country from Internal Threats, They can support the Indian Army in war if needed. They are also called Anti-Terrorism, Anti Naxal, Anti Insurgency Forces. They also serve to protect VIPs, to maintain law and order, to control riots, voting.
CENTRAL RESERVE POLICE FORCE (CRPF) - The CRPF's primary role is to deal with internal threats assisting the State/Union Territories in police operations to maintain law and order and counter insurgency.
CENTRAL INDUSTRIAL SECURITY FORCE (CISF) - CISF works to provide security cover to over 300 industrial units government infrastructure projects and facilities and establishments Industrial sectors like sensitive Government Buildings, Airports, Delhi Metro, Historical Monuments, Atomic Power Plants, Space Installations, Central Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) etc.
BORDER SECURITY FORCE (BSF) - BSF serves on guarding our border with Pakistan and Bangladesh.
INDO-TIBETAN BORDER POLICE (ITBP) - ITBP serves on China Border.
SASHASTRA SEEMA BAL (SSB) - SSB guards our country on Nepal and Bhutan Border.
