Had a few messages asking about the tones i’ve been using in recent videos, so I thought I’d break down my main FM3 Ford Dumble preset I’m using 50% of the time. The half of my usual go-to tone is with my main BE100 preset, but I’ll do that one another day if people want it. Hope you find this useful and enjoy the tones and backing track, you can grab them linked in the video description. Thanks for watching! 🐝🎸
Dude that is so kind of you to give your preset and track away like that. Thankyou. I have been doing a lot of tweaking of the same amp and have found I have added in some bender fuzz to help get similar tones to Robben on the higher gain section of Freedom. Most appreciate your perspectives.
Definitely going to have fun with this one over the weekend, very well explained as well. Much appreciated the share Beebs! Hope all is well on your side of the World ✌🏼
Thanks for sharing this and the preset sounds excellent! Can't wait to see your BE100 one cause I always feel it's too muddy from past tries, so hopefully I could learn something from how your setup!
Thanks glad you enjoyed it. Cool, I'll start planning a BE preset video. I have the real amp (well the 50 deluxe) so I can potentially weave that in too. Interesting you find it muddy. which channel/settings are you using?
@@DavidBeebee Thanks man! I never tried a real amp so I'm referring to the model/channel in fractal. Probably also need to clarify that it sounds muddy when comparing to something like a JCM800 or other Plexi models, which I usually like little more than all the Friedman amps.
Hey there, yes I use a variation this preset live. I just make a few changes that work well for use at high volume and IEM. Yes I do use frfr also sometimes, the lane lfr112. Thanks for watching!
For live I use the lane LFR12, imo is the best tone I've got loud with a modeller. In the studio I'm always using my monitors, a 20+ year old pair of Yamaha msp5. I can't bring myself to change them as I know the sound so well!
These are a custom HSS set made by Fibenare, the same company that make the guitar. Fully handmade boutique workshop from Budapest. The single coils are brown because they're made from rosewood!
Absolutely, going fractal was one of the best gear related decisions I made. I use and enjoy other modellers, (and more recently, profile/capturers) but fractal is still top of the tree for me atm.

Noted! Cheers
The legato really reminds me of Tom quayle, it's so very clean and so fluid.

Wonder how the Enigmatic 82 would compare with this tone! Great fluent playing!

Hi David, Do you use this Live? What do you use for your AMP in a live setup, FRFR , AMP return etc. Thank you for your generosity and great playing!

Hey Dave maybe a weird question but what kind of chair is this one on the video?
What do you use for your speaker system? FRFR?

Flowing Brother 🤘🏻🤘🏻
😀❤️🙏🏻 yeeee thanks brother
What amplifier is it based on?
David, what pickups are you using? I’ve never seen brown pickup covers before.

Fantastic
Thank you so much 😀
So are these fm3s worth it?
