do you ever miss the british countryside? all the XC courses there are, and the green fields and woods and everything? they're my favourite places to ride, and i think i'd miss it if i went to a land of sand and sun!
Stand on a step for 2-3 minutes each day. Stand with the edge of the step on the ball of your foot like where the stirrup would be. Don't bounce and just let them hang.
make sure to stretch first, rolling your ankles around and such, so that the muscles are ready to take all your weight. else you could really strain or hurt your legs and feet and that would really suck!
do you have any tips on sitting forwards in the saddle? my mother and I have both noticed when I'm riding I slouch forwards without realising, and once I sit back the same thing happens again. do you have any tips for this? :)
My guess is your relying on your reins too much. I would try having someone lunge you and take your reins away to gain balance or do some stirrupless work to improve your position:)

You can tell she just adores cross country. My guy does too. He'd rather be out doing that than stadium jumping, or god forbid, DRESSAGE!

It looks like it has! In general warm dry weather helps with arthritis in all animals and humans

nothing like riding through sand dunes, though. it's like swimming in the ocean, you look out and it's like the entire earth is at your feet!
