      I’m still watching the video but do you have to be like really smart to become a dietician? I’ve always loved learning about nutrition but I’m afraid I’m not smart enough😅

    • @crawfordandrea10
      @crawfordandrea10 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      African lily you just have to be willing to work hard. I never considered myself smart because I never had perfect grades and never got passed a 22 on the act. But through my hard work and perseverance I am going to become one ❤️

    I'm curious to know if the hospital/internship provided you with the booklet to make the PES statements or if it was something you gathered from other resources. It looks very handy and straightforward! I'll be doing my internship within this year or the beginning of next year. Watching your video is super helpful on knowing what to expect!

Lots of my skills need brushing up on (we dont use PES statements). thanks SO MUCH for showing ALL those different PES statements. at my interview they said they use PES statements and I was worried I wouldnt remember how to word them. Thanks SO MUCH

    Hi Mallory! A few questions 1). How do you sustain yourself while doing the internship? Did you work? Also, if you get accepted into an internship out of state I’m guessing you have to relocate? 2). What would you suggest for someone pre RD who wants a mentor in the field?

    Thank you for this video! I am very on-the-line introvert vs extrovert - I'm a little of both - and I worry about finding a job with not enough human interaction AND one with too much human interaction haha. Can you give me an idea of about how much time you feel like you spend interfacing with coworkers and patients versus alone at your computer? I like a little of both, but can become bored when I spend too much time alone, and overwhelmed when I spend too much time interacting with others, so I'm just wondering about that balance.

    • @MalloryJPage
      @MalloryJPage  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks so much for watching girl! Clinical can definitely be very different at every single location. There was only 1 dietitian + me at my hospital and we shared an office so I would chat with her and also with the patients I had to see that day. Other hospitals there are A LOT of dietitians and you would have more social interaction. I think it is just about asking some of the right questions during your interview/making sure you are applying to the right places :) i hope this helps. Happy to answer more.

    Hello! I'm currently a nursing major and I am looking at perhaps switching into becoming a RDN. However, I am concerned because it seems like most of your day really is just doing paper work and I want a job with more action than just sitting a desk for most of the day. Could you please explain the flow of your day as a dietician?
