- This is Corsair's Dominator Titanium First Edition DDR5 RAM. Which is available with an insane 7,2000 MT/s speed and offers RGB lighting or alternatively heat spreaders that can be used to reduce temps and help improve performance. This RAM is available in a few different formats - 32GB, 48GB and 64GB offerings with different latency options. Lower latency than many of the first DDR5 RAM offerings along with a snazzy design make it pretty appealing.
The first edition kit also includes a nifty screw driver kit and limited edition numbering too.
Here I'm showing off the RAM and whats included as well as some of the things to keep in mind if you're planning on purchasing.

Aestethically pleasing and technically rich video of thess new, highly desirable DDR5 RAM modules !
I got the vengeance variant of this ram with the exact same stats, 2x16 7200MT and 34-44-44-96 timings 1.45v. I understand that the dominator is going to be better. But its interesting what the differens is between these two and how they perform against eash other.
Good stuff. Just got the 6000 cl30 64gb kit(xmp). Easy OC to 6600 @cl32 and 6400 @ cl30. Just needed to increase the voltage a bit and you're gtg. This is on a z790a Strix (version 1) with a 13900ks
I'd recommend this specific kit for most people. A ton of room to OC and about as safe as you can get stability wise.
Just remember, people... QVL lists do not guarantee anything, every individual stick of ram is different.
XMP/Expo is technically an overclock itself so if you're not comfortable playing around in bios settings the lower the listed speed on the kit the less work and expertise required to get everything to run smoothly
Also thank you for mentioning stress testing!!! No one ever talks about it. People will run unstable systems for months on end and think every is fine, they won't even know to begin where to troubleshoot when seemingly random instability starts creeping in.
I’ve got the 6600 megahertz 64GB kit for my i9 14900k. Works amazing!
I had the same, but I felt I was sacrificing performance. I returned it for a 48gb 7600MT/s CL36 kit you can only get from Corsair's website
@Loot_Train depends. If it's just foe games maybe. For stuff like premiere the more ram rhe better
@@-Highlander-42 It was only stable at 7000mhz
@@-Highlander-42 Z790 Dark Hero
If I want this exact kit in white, 6000mts cl30 for AMD, it only comes in gray. The white one only comes in XMP intel… but from what I’ve read you can enable XMP in an AMD board as “docp”
I was going to get the 6600 titanium but i decided to get the older 5600 platinum version instead because i think they look better.
I wish they would make it an option to get the old blocky rgb design aswell, not that these look bad at all its just that the old one is really one of the coolest looking ram of all time imo :)
I really liked that blocky one too tbf.
I'm on the same situation. Im thinking about going with the plat as well :)
Hey prawn, in the Dynamic Evo XL is it possible to side mount a 360AIO with the tubes at the bottom and still have it reach the cpu? Or is the industry standard 400mm length tubes too short for that? Might require vertically mounted GPU for easier access but I'm looking to purchase the Evo XL so was hoping to find out in advance if this is possible.
Is the “First Edition” a press kit? In the UK at least it doesn’t come with the copper heatsinks, which you can buy separately for about $37 and still doesn’t come with the screwdriver. The 64GB 6600 pack already sells at about $378.
I love the way this ram looks. I have a set of the vengeance, dominator platinum and now the titanium.
The vengeance is just boring, not in a bad way, it blends in with your system.
Dominator platinum gives you the best per led control, it's great if you want to do static patterns
The Titanium is my personal favorite, it just hits a bit different, it has the same super bright led of the platinum so you get these vibrant colors you don't get from the vengeance. The effects when in motion just look better than the dominator as the light is diffused.
i got these for my 7800x3d 6000mhz cl30 working perfectly just built yesterday i have a white build so intel was the only white kit
Did it work being that it’s intel?? I want this kit really bad and have the same setup as you… how do you enable the oc profile? It’s not called expo since it’s an XMP intel kit, it’s just called DOCP right??
Can you share the settings you changed to get it functioning properly? I wanna get this kit for my Ryzen 7800x3d b650a build as well.
@@Kinda_alright it worked fine for being Intel no issues at all even all the profiles work
@Kinda_alright update bios first to newest and then your good to go zero issues you can enable default clock speeds or use the xmp profile both work
@@Anihilationx360yeah, my bios is the second to newest version right now actually. So I’m assuming I’d be good. But when you go to enable the profiles, what are they called??? DOCP?? Instead of expo or xmp?
would you recommend this corsair first edition at 7200 CL36 or a team force xtreem that is the same amount (48gb) but at 8200 CL38 native speed ? i love the aesthetics of both corsair and team force but i am undecided which one will truly provide a wonderfully fast experience with no issues. I theoretically think i could overclock the corsair but surely not to go 8200. I am debating. Lovely channel, amazing narrating voice, you helped me decide many times before, cheers mate!
Would it be possible for you to measure the height of the rAM with neither the RGB nor the Heatsink please? I need to fit these to a motherboard in conjunction with the Bequiet Elite air cooler which seems to not like tall Ram. TIA
What is the base clock speed on this RAM
Got a corsair dominator titanium 2x24 7200, more than 7400 won't start, very frustrating
hey, do you know if this model: CMP64GX5M2X6600C32 can be used with AMD platform? i know it says optimized for Intel XMP, but im just wondering if it will work with AMD also
They do. They have A XMP but if you can get a hand with the AMD EXPO should be better. But they dont come in white
Prawn - comb that mobo power cable on this otherwise immaculate build !!!
hahaha. That build has already been taken apart ;)
Have you had issues running this ram at 7200mhz? I can’t get it to work same motherboard but not the limited edition ram kit but the same kit. Also do you think a 100 sp 14900k is bad? I’m wondering if I have a bad memory controller on my 14900k but if I rma my 14900k I could get an even worse one actually correction I have the asus strix z790-a wifi 7 I I
FWIW I have a 13900K and it refuses to run anything above DDR5-5600 probably due to the controller. Unfortunately it's part of the silicon lottery that doesn't often get talked about enough. Especially videos talking about "OMG AMAZING DDR5-654616 speeds" but it does not matter if your memory controller isn't good enough to handle it.
you need a 2 dimm board for high clock.
Hi. I´m building a "white PC". I chose the Ryzen7 7800X3D processor and the Asus ROG Strix B650E-A Gaming WiFi Motherboard.
I Found the DDR5 Corsair Dominator Titanium in white, but unfortunatly only XMP. I could by the expo model but they only exist in grey.
What would happen if i run the White XMP version on my AM5 setup? Will it still be compatible or will i run into some issues?
I've been looking at getting this RAM for a new build, and I've already bought a motherboard that supports up to 8000mt/s (ASRock z790 NOVA), and my original plan was to get a 14700k CPU. My question is will a 14700k CPU support DDR5 7200 memory, or do I need to go with the 14900k?
Depending on the mobo more than anything, pretty much any 14th gen cpu can run 6400 stable.
Dépend cpu imc ... i have 14700k with asrock riptide z790 wifi7 and ddr7600 stable .. first thing i would recommand is to limit your draw power in bios ..
Hey. man Nice video!
I am wondering if this CORSAIR DOMINATOR TITANIUM RGB DDR5 RAM 96GB (2 x 48GB) DDR5 6600MHz CL32 Intel XMP Compatible Computer Memory iCUE - White (CMP96GX5M2B6600C32W)
will give me full performance (6600mhz) with this motherboard:
ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-A GAMING WIFI II Intel Z790 LGA 1700 Motherboard, ATX DDR5
I just got this and i am a little bit curious if this two work together and also will give me full performance of my RAM ofcourse with XMP turnd on. Do you have any clue about this?:)
and for me there is an answer to this question!
@@markozvonar9981 I am running this exact Corsair kit on an ASUS Z790 Dark Hero, no issues, and at 6600mhz.
damn they tall as hell
Yeah
Unfortunately they don’t have AMD optimized ones (yet). Went with normal Vengeance RGB 😢
I used it for my 7800x3d 6000mhz works flawless the expo is intel but just set to default n your good
@@Anihilationx360 Paying a premium price for slower RAM then possible with Vengeance doesn’t make sense to me.
@rainierpsv x3d speeds doesn't matter I was gona grab a 7200.hz but it gained zero benefits I looked for a very long time before pulling on the set, if it's a non x3d chip then yes speeds matter
@@Anihilationx360 I suggest you watch some recent benchmarks. Of course in real world use the difference is minimal, since I expect you have a high end pc anyways.
have this same ram but i think my 14900k's memory controller is ass shit because i get random shutdowns if i enable XMP
What’s your cpu silicon prediction?
I’m in the same boat
Also what motherboard are you running?
@@nad92422 sp90 but i get 6.1Ghz all p-cores so that doesn't make sense..
board is an Asus Z790 Formula.
i have the same problem , 2x24 ddr5 7200, i914900kf, asus rog trix z790-a wifi II
them cables need to go lol
oi prawn chuck em in an AMD system to confirm
