  • I was approached by Bibury to do a small review on their Titanium 18-in-1 multitool. For the price this is a very good product.

It's really good for the price! Leatherman is better that's for sure but if you need a simple tool for a nice price it's perfect.

@@luisrios8846 thank you, hope apart from this drawback rest everything is fine, I am confused to buy between Bibury and WorkPro, where WorkPro is having scissors, but Bibury is having screwdriver option which latter is not having. Price is slightly cheaper for WorkPro

Durability is VERY important. What is the steel? 420HC? If they do not list the steel, then it is almost always less than 420HC. Or a budget heat treatment. How is the heat treatment? Blade edge retention? Critical issues.
Not being difficult, but we know the technical details and the durability of Victorinox, Leatherman, SOG, Gerber.
I would never put a cheap multitool of unknown durability and reliability in an emergency kit. We need to rely on emergency kits, not be satisfied to find a bargain and then depend on it, only to have it break. Even expensive tools like the Gerber CenterDrive have problem with tools bending, chipping or shattering in normal use. So many multitools today that look ok, and are cheap. And do not hold up. Good for a bugout bag? No--terrible.
Find a 2nd hand LM Wave, or get Wingman or Sidekick. Save a bit more for a Rebar. 20-30$ more for proven quality.

Those are important questions I don’t know the answer to. I would imagine it’s less than 420HC because the product doesn’t say specifications on the steel. The retention of the cutting edges held up moderately well for the light-moderate testing I put it through, but no true prolonged use.
I understand your reasoning for not wanting to put it in a bugout bag and your gripes about my video. In the future I will consider these details more when making future videos. Thanks for your comment David.

I find, with multi-tools and Knives, more than not, if they don't tell you the blade steel.....it's usually cheap, cheap, cheap.
I'd also like to add that more now than in the past, things from China labeled *"TITANIUM"* are definitely not.
