Love the old Paw!
Countless hours spent in eq never explored let alone set foot in splitpaw thx for the tour,
This was a sweet video brought me back and reminded me of so many things about how the game is played
I remember back in 99 paw was one of my all time favorite zone to group in and the trains are epic. My rng just hit lvl 30 and I'll be heading there myself.
That Ranger trying to tank was sucking up all your mana. Great videos BTW, your commentary is hilarious. I used to play back in 99 and watching these videos is great nostalgia. Thanks for the videos.
Approve of all the Final Fantasy music!!
Having mained an Enchanter for 7 years and mained a Bard to 50+ on TLP I can tell you that around your groups level that bard + enc work great together if they are worth anything. The bard pulls and buffs mana regen when back in camp, they can pre mez the mobs to help out the enc who is also normally also charming. It's a great combo when played right.
Everything goes wrong suddenly - ah yes, the true eq experience, its all fun and games, then shit hits the fucking fan
Always happy when a new Janes vid drops🎉
Found myself here doing a turn in for the paladin Soulfire epic quest. If I remember correctly, the zone was the final step. Walked in a newbie guy, walked out wielder of Soulfire. A great reason to go to this zone as a paladin.
Definitely! And such a classic moment
subbed and liked. love this old game keep up the content
Paw's a cool dungeon. :) My favorite part about it is how the mobs are conveniently coded. From class (Tesch = Warrior, Lteth = Rogue, Nisch = Cleric, Rosch = Caster) to difficulty (Val > Mal > Mas). You just know exactly what you're fighting lols. You're not kidding about the trains though. The bridges have weird pathing and I accidently wiped a group the other day when my shaman pet fell off of one.
Paw was also pretty low level before the revamp. They seemed to really just rush through these zones when the game came out.
running back to entrance invis is just so classic for paw!
Great time, good content, big ups!
Platlord sends his regards.
A good go by for what is what class:
Tech=war
Nich= cleric
Val=rog
Roch= enc/nec/mag depending on the summoned pet
Can't believe I'm all caught up. Was a good time
How did it work as a complete watch? I always wonder cause I feel like I've changed the formatting/editing as I go along haha
@@SageFreke1 Worked just fine I'd say. Could probably think of it as the formatting levelling up alongside your character? Definitely looking forward to more story times, and hopefully will be able to catch the next poll.
Also not super attention demanding, so ya can watch it whilst playing too, which is nice when you're someone that doesn't like to only watch because it makes ya feel strangely unproductive.
Oh, by the way! Think ya mentioned that ya got the kunark guide book, ye? Could probably shake some lore bits in about places ya go to for the fun of it, assuming ya still know where it is. Could give context for zones people have never been to, or even knew existed. I forexample have 0 clue what Splitpaw is about. I just know the buggers abduct you in EQ2 if you start a fight with them.
Doing it now. Im completely unaware of the passage of real time.
The judges area is still pretty popular, fun crawl down to it as well😊
Bard + enchanter is a match made in heaven!
I didn't mind it!
Double rainbow all the way 19:05
Great exp quest from Tesch Val Scrolls quest in south Qeynos from Edward Tommels. At level 34 about 3-4% exp per turn in.
I wish I had the faction for it!
I played a cleric in the very early days, and you couldn't have done it.
Your book filled your screen. You spent the vast majority of your time staring at that book while the fight was going on, so you'd have enough mana for heals
loved the feeling of that book tbh.
Glad they changed that... I was watching a uncle play . But once I started they changed that... thank god
set my teeth on edge....
::low mana::
"oh, let's pop up and look around!"
"oh, let's look through the walls!"
"oh let's do ANYTHING except sit on our ass and MEDITATE".
there, I feel better.
Lol yup, that's me!
Ranger having to tank because idk 2hat the sk was doing just walking around all video
22:45 just to note, there isnt much you can do to get aggro off someone with low HP. mobs are pretty stuck to anyone below 20% HP
Some big noob energy In that group 😅
is this p99 green?
Yes
Paw is great as a dungeon but yeah there's nothing worth risking in there, not even the XP. shame the staff won't fix it up or something and shrug off the "classic" nonsense.
