Beautiful Stitch! I found this stitch years ago and it’s called the “Waddle Stitch” it really makes a beautiful blanket when using color changing yarn.
I'm attempting it with Hygge yarn, which is why I need to make the pattern larger it is only a 5 on the chunky scale. I just think this is so snuggly looking I had to make it!
Hi there, I personally haven't tried making this pattern with a different hook size, so I'm not sure if it will work. But you could always make a gauge swatch of the stitch used and see if you like the way it looks. ✨
No, not at all. I usually stick my blankets in the wash machine and put it on a delicate/gentle cycle and then I let it air dry. If I have more time, all go ahead and hand wash it. 😊
Hi there, I think it could work. I personally haven't tried this pattern yet with chenille yarn, but as long as it's a number 6 bulky weight yarn, I think it'll be fine. This pattern is pretty forgiving since it's a blanket, but I would recommend making a gauge first to see if you like the results with a different yarn fiber. Hope that helps! ✨😊
Just finished this in sage green, put five pom poms on the ends instead of four. I love it, great weekend project!
Oh that sounds lovely! I'm so glad you enjoyed making the pattern. 😊
Thank you love this pattern, so easy to make.
You’re welcome 😊
💕I just found your channel.💕 You are a very good teacher, you explain things wonderfully and show exactly what stitch to crochet into. Thank you.💕🥰

Thank you! 😊🧶
Can you make it using a size 10.00 mm hook?
Hi there, I personally haven't tried making this pattern with a different hook size, so I'm not sure if it will work. But you could always make a gauge swatch of the stitch used and see if you like the way it looks. ✨
How many yards of yarn are required for this?
Hi there, you can find all the information on my website. The link to the pattern is in the description box. 😊
Is there a name for this stitch style? I love it 😍
Hi there, yes it's called the Suzette Stitch. 😊
Thank you 😊
Maybe a stupid question, but how well does this wash considering its size, please?
No, not at all. I usually stick my blankets in the wash machine and put it on a delicate/gentle cycle and then I let it air dry. If I have more time, all go ahead and hand wash it. 😊
@JewelsandJones thank you, that's great 👍

Very pretty! What is the final size of this blanket?
Thank you so much! The measurements for this blanket are 42" x 42" inch.
What natural fiber can I use to do this? thank you
Hi there, you can probably use a bulky cotton yarn version for this blanket. 😊
What a beautiful blanket. Many thanks for this video. One small question... How big is the blanket on completion. Thanks again again 😊
What are the multiples please
Hi, you can find all the information on this pattern here jewelsandjones.com/easy-chunky-crochet-blanket-free-pattern/ . The multiple is 2. 😊
What if you don’t want Pom poms
Hi there, you can totally omit the pom-poms and leave it plain or you could add some regular fringe or twisted fringe. Whatever works best for you. 😊

WHY DOES THE BEGINNING ROW START TO CURVE INSTEAD OF BEING STRAIGHT??
Hi there, the beginning of the row should not curve. How is your tension?
