Queer people in Gaza seek asylum in Israel and ask for help from the Queer people in Israel, like me. There's like a weird mental separation between reality and ideology that can't see the actual people whom they speak of. Because there's not a single lgbtq person who lived in Gaza and speaks for Gaza. Not a single one, and that speaks volumes. There is not a single one who lives there and would be able to speak freely without being raped and murdered.

6 facts you do not want to be lied about this subject:
      1. Willingness vs Hate: The Jewish people leaders set through many two-state-solution plans and accepted them, not only before being a state but also after. Gaza could've been a state as well with 80% of the land - yet still chose NOT to be one, why? because "from the river to the sea" - ethnic cleansing. Hamas is a terror organization that was elected democratically, by who? the people in Gaza.
      2. Casualties: The combatant-to-civilian death ratio in this war is unprecedented. The ratio in Gaza is about 1:1.5 and less than 1:2. In other words, for every combatant killed, around 1.5 civilians are killed. As a point of reference, according to the UN, civilians usually make up around 90 percent of casualties in war. That’s a 1:9 ratio (one combatant for every nine civilians). Every loss of civilian life is tragic, but with this ratio, not only should Israel not be accused of genocide (that’s obvious), world leaders should be applauding the IDF’s precision-strike capabilities. That is although Hamas uses their own people as human shields, putting their attack stations in homes, under hospitals, hiding behind their own people. Which makes the loss even higher as the population in Gaza is dense - rising from 100k in 1947 to 2M (a growth which is the opposite of what happens in a "ghetto”). If Hamas wouldn't have stolen billions for their leaders sitting in Qatar instead of investing in their people, and wouldn't have refused time and time again for two-state solution (even when offered 80% of the land), and wouldn't have terrorized Israelis for years and years, and wouldn't have been raping, murdering and kidnaping jews, christians, muslims and druze.... there would be no war. Not ever. There's this saying, if Israel put their guns, there would be a second holocaust - if Gaza put their guns down, there would be a state.
      3. Apartheid: Israel is the only democratic state in the entire Middle East - where all of us, jews muslims christians druze can live as equals (yoseph haddad

@@tigress1girlone isreals acceptance of queerness doesnt now make it a good place nor should Palestinians now think their people don't deserve freedom bc they can be openly queer in isreal ,im a child of a nigerian immigrant and its illegal to be queer in niger should i now be insupport if their neo colonization or the sanction currently placed on them ?? Idgaf if every dam Palestinian was homophobic my solidarity with oppressed people isnt bend on if they like me or not . Using homophobia as an excuse to be ok with the killing of thousands of people apartheid and land theift , if you wouldn't be ok with the killing of thousands of southerners for being homophobic dehumanizing others is exactly the first step of evey genocide i will not put up with using my queerness as an excuse to dehumanize others.

at 40:00 I'm bawling my eyesout this is the same story over and over and over again the same thing happened (and in a minor scale keeps happening) here in Colombia, La Violencia the violence period, the paramilitary would have huge massacres of entire villages and then terrify people to leave their land and then they would buy or legalize "abandoned land" as the property of very rich families and companies. It's just so heartbreaking how we keep living this nightmare and then it gets studied and someone apologizes maybe in 100 years and move on to still talk about how they're the most civilized peaceful people. When is it going to stop like. I keep sharing and rising my voice but I feel so hopeless... it's so heartbreaking idk what to do

Thank you so much for your comment, so touching and sobering... What you are doing is NOT hopeless, it is so important to keep speaking up. What the president of Colombia has done, expelling Israeli diplomats and cutting ties completely, is MASSIVE, and it would not have happened without la gente colombiana! Muchas gracias por todos - no es facil pero juntos podemos cambiar mucho! Evil people will never learn from history because it does not benefit them, but we will never be silenced!

Thank you for the conversation. I am genuinely trying to understand these issues as a gay person. One thing i find baffling is that many muslim people are still very reluctant to criticise the actions of the muslim institution in the same way that the catholic church or christianity has been exposed for the institutional abuses and opression of queer and trans people. We can hold multiple views, i.e love our God and culture but still acknowledge the problems. It makes me feel that we are protecting abusers and opressors in the islamic faith.

True 1948 Israel became a state but Palestine did not become a state until much later. In 1948 5 Arab countries attacked Israel because they did not recignise Israel having their own state. @QueerCollective a piece of paper says who owns the land and who can live there. Someone can't just go to your place and take it over. You have a legal right to live there because of a piece of paper called a tenancy agreement or a mortgage document. Also, Israel can't occupy a land that is theirs in the first place. Archaeology proves that. The only ones that performed a genocide were Hamas and the Arab nations. There were many hundreds of thousands of Jews in Muslim countries. There aren't now. Why because the Muslims performed a genocide.

Again with these insanely misleading maps and consistent failure to mention that:
      1) Jews who migrated to Israel after 1880 where Jews had always been but more came almost all arrived as refugees from Russian pogroms, nazi Holocaust and later from being ethically cleansed out of EVERY SINGLE MUSLIM COUNTRY, 50% of the Jews in Israel today are the Arabic Jews genocided out of every single Muslim country and their descendants so if they’re white so is the entire Middle East,
      2) Muslim violence on Jewish homes and settlements long predates the state of Israel in the region
      3) Early Palestinian leaders evolved around the aim of ethnically cleansing Israel of its Jews and that has changed very little over time which is why they’ve always declined any two-state solution they do not want two states Palestinian leaders have largely wanted to continue fighting with the aim of killing or expelling all the Jews. But the Jews have nowhere to go… Where can they go? Back to the Muslim countries that genocided them? To Europe or America? Because those citizenships are so easy to procure?
      3) Those “land expansions” were the product of wars of extermination waged on Israel in its cradle by local Palestinians and Arab nations… In 1948 and in 1967 Israel was forced to fight defensive wars to survive and when they won, which they barely did in 1967, they did what every other state did at the time which was expand their borders and try to establish some sort of control to the threats on their borders. In identally the “Nakba” was a response to the 1948 war when Israel declared independence they gave all Muslims within their original borders citizenship and full rights it was Palestinians in the areas fought over in 1948 who were dislocated because the leaders in those areas chose to wage war rather than accept to live alongside Jews.
      4) I am not even Jewish but I’m a student of history and Jews are a TINY religious minority in the world that is THE MOST persecuted group of people in the history of the world proportionately in recent centuries and over time as a whole… So when you film videos like this what you’re doing is hopping on a trend to contribute to an atmosphere of hostility towards the single handedly most oppressed group in the history for man…
Why won’t any of you stop and think or just have the humility to pick up a history book?
