The problem with conman is that they get comfortable, they think they are the most intelligent human beings and there is no one else smarter than them.. My father used to say "No matter how smart you are, there is someone out there smart as you"
Yes. The problem with stupid people is that they can't imagine anyone smarter than they are. A clever person can imagine cleverer people or stupider people. But the person who is not very clever - but thinks he is - is never capable of imagining that anyone can see through him. Another problem is that they are used to scamming this individual in this moment: I can convince this person I'm a doctor; this person I'm in love with her; this person that my check is good, etc. But what they forget is that they are not up against one busy policeman who may not be very smart (or may not have a lot of time to spend on one case). They are up against a network of police officers from the whole city or country or even much of the world. They are up against a team of people on the side of the law. They are up against bystanders who witness something, remember it, and report it. They are up against all the people they conned in the past who can tip off current victims or the police. Even if they kill the previous victims, they are up against multiple investigations into disappearances or murders - and that means a whole lot of law enforcement officers who can compare notes and put two and two together. They just aren't able to imagine that a team of potentially hundreds of people looking for him or investigating him could possibly combine all their intelligence (both in the sense of brains and information) and catch him.
I knew this man in his home town of Clay Cross, when in his early twenties he was running a double glazing company. Could there be any more ads ffs…
These are made for thick people, how many recaps does one need,
hahahahah so true. Every 10 minutes there's like one new sentence of information. It's a RIDICULOUS amount of repetition. Don't even start me on the so-called 'experts' stating the absolute obvious.
Background music is supposed to be in the BACKGROUND
He made a big mistake stealing the £46,000 and going to the cops lying he had returned it. Luckily he did though as it lead him to his fate. After he came out of jail he probably resuned his crimes but hiding behind another profession to con money out of people.. These victims should have been suspicious as if he really was a barrister why is he operating from an office at home ?
Poor Clive's wife still lost £46,000!!!
He could have claimed to be a solicitor
Now when everyone can google anyone... I wonder if Klenczar could have been successful passing himself of as a QC nowadays. Surely the young law graduate would have looked him up online in 2023.
KC now.
Get rid of the annoying background music very distracting. Learn from this bad mistake.
A 5 year sentence is a complete joke... and what's with the sound fx? Nothing but annoying.
This is a tough one to detect.
That law graduate forget the lesson on mistake in contract law. Besides I always check the rolls of professionals.
Dear Law Society
Is xxx a qualified barrister/solicitor?
Yours sincerely
A Potential Client/Victim
It takes a year for a law access course, 3 years to get a law degree, a year for the bar and a year for pupillage. Literally just become an actual barrister, it's less time and effort. He could have just gotten a student loan, and then in 6 years he's earning decent money and in a few more years he'd basically have this exact lifestyle but it's not a con. I don't get it lol.
7k for 6 months ?
On a HUGE place!?
Yikes..
Good grief..
It’s 1k a month for a 4 room townhouse apartment here..
plus utilities ..
and that’s one of the less expensive ones..
“Gentrification” of a former blue collar mill town has trashed the housing market for ordinary people here.. 🙄🤦♀️
This obviously wasn't 2020
@@Liitebulb certainly…but..it’s been inexplicably expensive prices here for a while.. 1k for a small apartment is actually the ‘cheap’ ones these days.. it’s closer to 1400+ for a dinky efficiency style in the more ‘popular’ areas..
..the equivalent pricing, for this instance, for my area, was about 30 years ago..
Woman’s husband is more annoying than the scammer.
So the barrister was taking a train lol
What does that mean?
Rob an insured bank get 15 years.
Rob a bunch of incident people that could ruin their lives for good and get 5 years........ I know what I'd do......... my friend lost his parents to suicide after Alan Bond stole thiere's and hundreds of others life savings, what did he get, 7 years in a minimum security farm prison...
These type are worse than that bank robber.
What is with this deafening music???? Pity destroyed a good film .😮
what's so fancy being a barrista? lmao
and why the hell s he seasoned? do british ppl but spices on their barristas?
@@ReneeZme it's barrister not barrista
Hope you’re trolling. Anyone with half a brain cell would think to themselves ‘barrister obviously has some other meaning in the uk’ after watching just 2 mins of this video.
He'll be at it right now as we speak, unless he's back in prison that is, in which case he'll just be planning the next con.
Judging from the sociopaths nose he been in a few fights while in jail.
Could the cop talk,any,more,slowly….
Dear god !!!
Alex Murdaugh comes to mind....
Nobody googled him crazy
What is that awful sounding talking in the background? It sucks.
poor BABY
oh how mature you are. Go find something to DO THAT'S CONSTRUCTIVE. I OR ANYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO THEIR OPINION. You must be lacking in attention so you are a narcissist. I suggest yoh get some therapy for your mental issue(s). Narcissists usually blurt out rude comments to get attention. I have no time for you and if you make one more comment to anyone then your sadder then I thought..
The guy is smart! Doing what he did requires talent and skills. What's the difference with bankers?
not that smart, he conned people close to him 'Don't Sh*t on your Doorstep'
The difference is that bankers are wealthy. Laws aren't for the rich, they're for the poor.
It's not smart, he didn't even have a long term scam. It was 6 months
@@mechanomics2649 very true
A Barrister on a train? Alarm bells ringing, for me!! Sorry.
many barristers ride trains. Especially in London
@@xTerminatorAndy The kind of people talking about this don't know anything about the UK or the state of public transport there. They think that just because public transport is below a lawyer in America, it's like that everywhere.
I would follow these people and see if they had office or ect.. I couldn't just take them at their word.. that's my thoughts 🧐
Would prefer the money back
I wonder what he is doing now?
He could just have said am BATISTA 🤣
Love Lighted Orb, Peace Perfected Passion!
But I bet no-one got a penny back
I am sure most of it sits somewhere safe for his return in a mere 5 years
Not to mention his barrister knowingly gets paid with STOLEN $$$'
Did he have a famous relative named Donald across The Pond? LOL
Obviously you’d have been one of this man’s victims
@@Xassaw yep. He damaged 4 years of my life. I've had countless sleepless nights wondering what new idiocy he will come up with the following day? Once he lost his job I partly regained my balance but the danger is not over yet. He still remains the world's guru for all the fascists and other right-wing extremists. So, the work must continue!

Why the annoying background music?
This was interesting
So, he will be out in under 3 years having had £400,000. and they say crime doesn't pay
It's so refreshing to read of a case where the female partner isn't prosecuted for the male crime!! :)
Any way to make a dollar I guess 🤨
