- Hey everyone!! Michael and I are so excited to share with you the second day of our honeymoon in Thailand! As we traveled through Thailand, starting our married life together, we wanted to film a bit of our journey to save it and relive it all again later. We did all this filming very casually, whenever we wanted. All this to say, we didn't set out to film this professionally. However, we're so excited to share these fun (and funny) experiences with all of you!
The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market was AMAZING and INSANE. Not only was it incredibly difficult to get to, it was extremely fascinating seeing the size of the market and the interesting way people shopped and sold goods there.
After a long trip back into Bangkok, we decided to take a little trip out of the old city and into the high-tech, sky-scraper dense downtown center of Bangkok. Michael surprised me with a very Matthew-esque restaurant, and it was magical as you will see in the video!

I'm not gunna lie, I'd have crazy anxiety being somewhere unfamiliar and not being able to read or speak the language. That lost kid in the mall feeling would be kicking in. I'd feel like everyone there is trying to bamboozle me.
Usually flower market we visit at night and it would be full of new fresh and lot of follower.

Looks like a great honeymoon trip! When you were talking about "bartering" over the cost of the handbag, I suspect you meant "bargaining." Bartering is trading goods and services (no money.)

I love food markets, I'm sure Thailand's must be incredible. That view at the end, WOW! What was up with the menu? Was it a iPad type tablet/book? How was it lit up??

Thai people we are open and very helpful so if you need to know any thing just ask in fact most of the Thai can communicate so remember keep asking.

The boat is costly....I bargained alot....so I got it cheap like 1000$. I went to Unicorn cafe and it is the most cutest thing available....Congrats
So good!! We tried to barter, but alas - we could not! The trick was that we were told that it was the only place to rent a boat - and we could go no where else. It was raining heavily, and we didn't know where else to go, so we just settled. :) It was totally worth it though, those experiences don't come often!
Yes and you have to also know about the difference in money value. I used google translator and one of my friend stays in Bangkok so she helped me alot......
