Best Budget Short Zoom Lens for Fuji X-T1? Here's my suggestion!

- In this video I review an inexpensive, yet sharp and effective budget zoom lens that works great for general photography with the Fuji X-T1. This mid-level budget system is all you need for everything from personal/family photography to paid photo sessions.
While this prime lens lacks the high-quality glass of some of it's big brothers, it's still worth every bit of it's price (under $150 used), and I see no reason to upgrade unless I need a longer zoom.
I like the flexibility of the Fujinon XC 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS ll Lens, which can make portrait work much more flattering, and gives you everything you need for most photo situations that don't require a longer lens.

This lens is pretty good for video. I have used it on my X-H2.
Yes, I should have separated the opinion of the X-T1's video capability vs the lens' performance. The lens itself would definitely be usable for video. Thanks for the input Shaun!
