Came with a 250 GB M.2 and I put in a 500 gig ssd. This thing boots up in less than a moment and is a great laptop. I paid about $500 for it on sale so it is possible to find for cheap.
Honestly, I'd much prefer going with a reconditioned gaming laptop instead of a new one. You can find a pretty dam deal for the money if you're patient enough.
I got this laptop with the 1050 Ti and I love it. The only thing you didn't really cover too much was that the battery life is abysmal. Always always ALWAYS carry the power cord with you.
I got the i5 version with the gtx 1050ti refurbished for $430, got lucky and the "refurbished" part was actually someone that just didn't liked it and gave it back. Very good laptop
The problem with gaming laptops is not how long the battery lasts... it's how long it will be usable before it falls to zero capacity and you have to plug it in all the time. My Omen laptop now doesn't boot up if it's not plugged in.
tbh, I wouldn't buy this. I have it and it doesn't perform well, if you want a laptop I suggest buying one in the $1000 rang. cuz if you damage it and bring it back to the spot where u bought it, it would take the same amount of money to replace a little problem, at that point just get another pc.
@@faintgoshojinsama If you have it plugged in then you can easily get 60+ fps on basically any game. But it does get hot pretty easily. But you can turn on coolboost which cools it down. And you can customize the CPU and GPU.

Fabulous Joshua yes mine works normally but it is very low sound may you have it and donot notice it please check by putting your ear on the back of the laptop around the cpu area
I was considering getting this laptop, but I ended up getting an Acer Aspire 7 instead. They're pretty similar (as far as I can tell), but the touch of extra strength I got was wholly worth it. Intel Core i7 7700HQ NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 16 GB ram 256 GB SSD (where Windows 10 is installed) 1 TB HDD (comes empty) Screen is 1920x1080. Numpad, 3 USB slots, 1 USB type-c slot, SD card reader, fingerprint reader (on touchpad), ethernet port, headphone jack, etc. (No disc reader.) I'm happy with my purchase. So if you're liking the specs of the Acer Nitro 5 but want it a bit stronger, I recommend the Acer Aspire 7. AMA.
I have a question. Is the Acer Aspire 3 a good laptop? I have seen it on Best Buy's websites, and it seems legit. It also claims it had a Ryzen 5 graphics card, so would the machine be good for gaming? Specifically, light gaming? I am not sure. I saw a video about the Aspire 5, but it is out of my price range, so is the Aspire 3 good?

I have this laptop but the Core i5, GTX 1050ti and a 256 gb m2 ssd. I upgraded it with 1TB SATA SSD and it's way faster than my old laptop.
I like ur mouse preference Austin, not expected from a youtuber
There is no prefect budget gaming lap-
wait the title of the video..
Useful tip: get this laptop with the i5 and gtx1050 or gtx 1050ti. The performance will be better.
Actually I have both Versions of this one for me and one for my girlfriend I have the 1050ti version and some games perform better on hers than mine
@@NotAnAlienlol which ones pomrarily plays better on hers? I need to know 😉
Lyts or get a desktop. Laughs in 9900k and 2080 Ti
@@Khloya69 A lot of people need portability, that's why they want to buy a laptop instead of a desktop
Lyts is it really worth it when laptop hardware is so bad tho? Rather just have a desktop for home gaming a cellphone maybe with a cloud gaming service on it for when I'm out
Wow a cheap gaming laptop!
Still cant afford it
Hi five bruh
Sed lyf 😪
If you can't afford it, why don't you just make more money??
Soylent that’s like telling a homeless person.. oh your homeless why don’t you just buy a house?
@@TheDillinator that's the joke, nice
4:12 Austin was the first person to think of the idea fortnite montage
I have a Nitro 5. I've had it for a while now. It also has an M.2 slot. The one I have is the intel I5 7300HQ and nvidia gtx 1050ti and 16 gigs of RAM. Came with a 250 GB M.2 and I put in a 500 gig ssd. This thing boots up in less than a moment and is a great laptop. I paid about $500 for it on sale so it is possible to find for cheap.
I wish I can have this 😔
I have it. But i have the 800 dollar one
Budget? Sorry, is this some *_poor_* joke I'm too *_rich_* to understand?
DespacitNO
Sorry I can't hear you, I have galaxy buds on
The ammount of memes on your name and profile pic is impressive
*lol I only have $16*
It is worse since it a GTX1060 so next year would make much vaule. RTX already in most store now.
Honestly, I'd much prefer going with a reconditioned gaming laptop instead of a new one. You can find a pretty dam deal for the money if you're patient enough.
Aye rocking that MKBHD merch, I love it
I got this laptop with the 1050 Ti and I love it. The only thing you didn't really cover too much was that the battery life is abysmal. Always always ALWAYS carry the power cord with you.
Lenovo: Work
HP: Normal use
Intel: That's hot, that's hot
Acer: So you think you can game?
Just came back from the AMD Gaming Laptop Video....
So glad to see that shaved face again.
Wow I just got this laptop last week except mine has a 1050ti with a 256ssd and a 2tbhdd
bro you cab hear a sound of scratch or electric sound when you put your ear on the back ? or in quite room ?
Be happy yours is superior
I got the i5 version with the gtx 1050ti refurbished for $430, got lucky and the "refurbished" part was actually someone that just didn't liked it and gave it back. Very good laptop
The thing is, in the UK, the cheapest version is like £599 and it has a mechanical HDD rather than an SSD, which legit sucks.
Oh hey, he finally reviews something I own 😂
Haha I just got this the other day, too B)
I guess Austin went out of cash after so many random Amazon items
Hey austin, this is guys
Lesser no. Of views on austins videos makes me sad...awesome content...superb qwality
The problem with gaming laptops is not how long the battery lasts... it's how long it will be usable before it falls to zero capacity and you have to plug it in all the time. My Omen laptop now doesn't boot up if it's not plugged in.
Do a Asus TUF 505DY Review and Benchmark Test ❤
tbh, I wouldn't buy this. I have it and it doesn't perform well, if you want a laptop I suggest buying one in the $1000 rang. cuz if you damage it and bring it back to the spot where u bought it, it would take the same amount of money to replace a little problem, at that point just get another pc.
Watching on my Nitro 5 😎
How is it?
Yh how is it
@@faintgoshojinsama If you have it plugged in then you can easily get 60+ fps on basically any game. But it does get hot pretty easily. But you can turn on coolboost which cools it down. And you can customize the CPU and GPU.
@@faintgoshojinsama Imo its worth it
@@aiyai900 thnx well im buying this
If anyone is interested in this laptop you can find it on eBay for $429 directly from Acer. It says refurbished but I bought 2 before and they’re not refurbished they just don’t come with the original box, which I don’t care to much about.
OMG, yeessss, I am thinking of buying this laptop, but I couldn’t find many videos of the AMD version, finally!!!
Watching this in my Nitro 5
Fabulous Joshua
bro you cab hear a sound of scratch or electric sound when you put your ear on the back ? or in quite room ?
@@medonoaman4285 nope, it works normally
Fabulous Joshua yes mine works normally but
it is very low sound may you have it and donot notice it
please check by putting your ear on the back of the laptop around the cpu area
Same it is awesome, especially for being my first personal laptop
So what are your thoughts on the Nvidia version? Junk? Not as good as the Ryzen? What?
Got this laptop but with different specs.
Gtx 1060 6gb
i5 7gen
8gb ram
How much?
@@RTXTi-qu5tv 1.080€
I was considering getting this laptop, but I ended up getting an Acer Aspire 7 instead. They're pretty similar (as far as I can tell), but the touch of extra strength I got was wholly worth it.
Intel Core i7 7700HQ
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
16 GB ram
256 GB SSD (where Windows 10 is installed)
1 TB HDD (comes empty)
Screen is 1920x1080.
Numpad, 3 USB slots, 1 USB type-c slot, SD card reader, fingerprint reader (on touchpad), ethernet port, headphone jack, etc. (No disc reader.)
I'm happy with my purchase. So if you're liking the specs of the Acer Nitro 5 but want it a bit stronger, I recommend the Acer Aspire 7. AMA.
I just got mine last week and absolutely loving it. Just make sure to update the BIOS before using it for gaming
I have the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050ti version and I think it is better than AMD One
It is but it cost more.
The model in the video only costs less on sale
@@sapatel4207 no the amd model has been cheaper since it was released
The 1050 Ti
Version is On sale for

I have a question. Is the Acer Aspire 3 a good laptop? I have seen it on Best Buy's websites, and it seems legit. It also claims it had a Ryzen 5 graphics card, so would the machine be good for gaming? Specifically, light gaming? I am not sure. I saw a video about the Aspire 5, but it is out of my price range, so is the Aspire 3 good?
i own aspire 3 a315-41 with 25w ryzen 2500u. For lighter titles like cs go medium settings avg 82fps in dust 2, overwatch 1080p 75% render scale, low settings avg 62fps, Pubg 900p 70% render scale verylow, sanhok fpp avg 50fps. Cinebench r20 1270pts.
Adrenalin 19.6.3 driver and MSI afterburner 4.6.2 for avg fps.
If you play game while it's charging you will get a fps boost
Yeah its like that with every laptop. I felt so smart when i found it out on my laptop lol.
Afif Fakhrullah That’s Why I always charge my laptop
Michaeliosgamer5 never EVER overcharge laptops though. That demolishes the battery
Is this a movie or a regular TH-cam video? The camera works and the black bar on top and bottom is 👌✨
