    I have nerve damage from spinal issues which has worsened along with muscle cramps. I started taking magnesium and ALA and I no longer am awakened by severe leg cramps. Surprisingly, my cholesterol has dropped to below 200, which it never has been since my mid 20’s. I had been on statins for years but stopped because of muscle pain. My cholesterol didn’t really increase much but my LDL was increasing. My doctor started me on a statin again in 2020 without seeing much change. I started the ALA in the Fall of 2021 and by Spring of 2022 it had dropped and after being on it a year my total cholesterol dropped almost 100 points and my LDL had also lowered. I haven’t changed my diet and I have become more inactive due to my health issues and attribute the change to ALA. if it remains low on the next check up, I will stop the statin to see if it remains low. My cholesterol has NEVER been this low in 40 years. I wish more was mentioned about this benefit of ALA and not just for helping nerve pain.

      @tastx3142 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@chintirobby192 I take Alpha Lipoic Acid with Biotin Optimizer. The serving size is 3 capsules with a meal which would be 600mg of ALA, but I take only one capsule on an empty stomach at bedtime. The manufacturer is Horbaach. I haven’t had side effects and am not diabetic but I take a lower dose. I also take 400 mg of magnesium glycinate at bedtime, so my leg cramps have become very infrequent and are very mild. The bonus was the cholesterol reduction despite being on various statin medications. I had stopped them at one point because of leg cramps and eventually put back on a different brand of statin because of my high cholesterol. I am having my annual check up again and if it has stayed below 200 I am dropping the statin.

    Ex cellent reminder!!! From experience, it is imperative to take Bitter melon supplement (1000-2500 mg) before each meal to inhibit pain. If pain occurs, chromium picolinate will remove the pain (take 1000 Mg upward until the pain ceases). Chromium picolinate can also be taken before meals to inhibit pain from hypergycemia. Berberine can also be taken before meals to inhibit immediate pain from hyperglycemia. Certainly it is best to stay clear of high glycemic foods, but if one must indulge, these are the immediate pain relief remedies!!!

      Can i take them whilst on metformin

    • @MasterMetaphysician
      @MasterMetaphysician ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@chiedzamuringi819 Thank you for your question! First, it is important to understand each of the food supplements I have discussed by researching on the internet exactly what each food supplement does. they each have a specific role in lowering blood sugar. I do not take Metformin (a drug), my approach is natural. You can look up the foods which contain Chromium Picolinate, and they should not interact with the Metformin, but it would be necessary to monitor your blood sugar and the effects of these foods while taking Metformin. If you were to take a food supplement as mentioned it may put you into a hypoglycemic state, which is a lowered blood sugar which can make one very fatigued, having the opposite effect of balancing your blood sugars. Each individual is different. I choose not to take Metformin and to go the natural route as mentioned, and I monitor myself accordingly because I have the information of each supplement and what to watch for and adjust both the foods I consume and the food supplements I take. I encourage you to look up each food supplement so that you have a greater understanding of what it is that you want to accomplish for your personal needs!!! Great Blessings!!!

    Magnesium sulphate is one of the worst magnesium salts from the point of view of digestive comfort, together with citrate, chloride, oxide and marine magnesium.
    Those that usually do not give unpleasant digestive problems are:
    ✅️ liposomal magnesium
    (which is the best of all also because it is the form of magnesium with the highest absorption),
    ✅️ bisglycinate,
    ✅️ malate
    ✅️ taurinate.
    These are important notions!
    Why aren't they said and why do you keep repeating the same things that have been known for decades about the functions of these nutrients?
    And the title of this video is obviously wrong because the 7 listed here aren not all vitamins!
    Magnesium is a mineral salt, not a vitamin.
    Curcumin, Alpha Lipoic Acid and Omega 3 are not vitamins.

      Thank you for sharing your experience Carlos. While B12 is an important nutrient for nerve health, it's important to note that neuropathy can have a variety of underlying causes, and treatment will vary depending on the specific cause. It's important to work with a healthcare provider to determine the root cause of your neuropathy and develop a treatment plan that's tailored to your individual needs. Additionally, while having high B12 levels may not necessarily be harmful, it's always a good idea to discuss any concerns about your nutrient levels with your doctor or dietitian. They are the best people to give you advice on your unique needs. 💙

      The power of You Tube! Here is 1one you may not know is if you do not have enough vitamin K2 Calcium will be deposited into your heart and blood vessels rather than your bones. As a result bones become more brittle as vascular tissues becomes less flexible. The end result is blood pressure goes up. These conditions become more prominent in old age if never corrected. 😉

      Do not trust everything that your doctors negatively tell you about supplements. For example, they often say "don't" but offer no sharp reasoning why. Sometimes the doctor "feels" what he tells you, but offers no more than that. Even specialists can be dead wrong, or behind the times, or simply lazy. If you need to, consult a second physician unaffiliated with your physician for another opinion, which your insurer will usually pay for. Doctors are primarily in their profession as a great way to make money, meaning the more they keep you on medications, the better their bottom line. I've been the victim of a doctor's mistakes with meds more than once, and I now catch some mistakes before they're made on me or people I care for. Don't be an easy victim. A particular doctor is only a possible improvement on your troubles, but not always THE answer to them. The wrong doctor can keep you suffering needlessly for years or even take years off of your life. I have a law degree, once passed a bar exam, and worked in law firms for years, meaning I don't know everything, but I've learned a lot about "professionals" who are, in the end, only people; who DO make mistakes even in their professions. It's why the concepts of ethics and malpractice exist in every profession, because those, such as doctors and lawyers, DO make mistakes that cause clients/patients to suffer. Take this or leave it. It's YOUR life.
