I know you know what you're doing and I respect that, but would it be possible to put a thick rubber liner inside the neck yoke opening. I would think Hamish would be more cooperative if his neck wasn't shoved against the wood frame.
@@HamishandKyloe not a problem the highland cattle are really cute but I was watching for the lumpy jaw procedure, no problem. Have a great day and thank you for your service to all animals.
The only procedure I caught was the draining of the fluid pocket. th-cam.com/video/-m2DolMHchs/w-d-xo.html The only other procedure was the removal of the tumor on his cheek which I did not film. The rest of the treatment involved sticking a needle into his jugular every 7-10 days and giving him an Sodium Iodide solution...The entire series makes up the playlist "Hamish the Hero" on our main channel.
@@HamishandKyloe now when there is such a large bump on the outside is there that big of a bump inside? Is there a cyst sac that should be removed like the cyst sac in humans?
@@cheryl5601 Lump Jaw changes the structure of the jaw bone. The tumor we removed was an infected sac of ..gunk. But until we removed it and had it biopsied, we weren't sure if it was cancer or not...It was going to be either Lump jaw or the cancer...but we weren't going to wait for the results to start treating him.
Man if I didn't live so far away I would come weld ya up a stronger head rack out of good 4x4s I have a huge welding and machine shop and am retired so I do a lot of help work in our community but living in Canada so far away with covid crap around I think I'll pass for now and you got enough to help I see. Take care yall~
I don’t know nothing about this kind of animal. I was wondering if you can put like some kind of horn covers, because the Bovine can make a wrong move a stab someone.
Yeah, I'd love to see them get those swimming pool noodles made of foam and try to put them on his horns 🤭😅. Poor Hamish, he was a good sport through all of his treatments.
why do you need a handgun in a Cow Stall? Been to many farms, and never have I seen the need for a handgun in a cow stall or horse barn. You expecting desperados to come rushing you stealing the homestead?
Because you can’t always trust bulls to behave. Growing up, my grandfather told us a story about another farmer he knew. The man hand raised a bull and for years didn’t have any problems. Then, one day, the bull turned on him and killed him.
Have you cleared up the lumpy jaw yet? If not, how many treatments and would it not be better for a vet to put her under and cut it out? Be a lot faster I’d think.
Such a good and brave Boy, Hamish!
kyloe is so sweet he is worried for hamish
❤️❤️❤️❤️Hamish. Good boY. Your buddy Kyloe is giving you his support. Love you guys!!
You can see that the vet loves animals.
Hamish was very cooperative getting in and through the procedure, but he had to express how he felt about it at the end, Lol.
take care Hamish🐮

It’s hard to see Hamish like that but glad that he got better
It would be nice if we could actually see what she is doing
Sorry.... I was more concerned about making sure Hamish was OK then I was about camera angle

Hamish just wanted to give you a present for the help

This all happened pre-covid. Too bad we weren’t closer- I would have appreciated the help! It was a tough time, but thankfully we got through it.
Something tells me a stronger Crush would help a lot with this animal, the thing rocks every time he swings his head lol 😂
Good boy Hamish!
Hamish....the end!
Is your little buddy doing ok
Was terrified that one of those horns would end up piercing someone’s stomach. 😮

WHAT'S THE GUN FOR?
For the same reason I have fire extinguishers
So hard to keep animals healthy.
👍👍👍😊
Is some reason that you're packin?
B/c you can. Many of us homesteaders carry always.
Gentle Giant huh
You need a different vet....

Well hell son! I live in a nice little city that has good decent people in it and I never ever leave my house without my gun!
gave thumps down because there wasn't a description of what you folks were doing.
So you had you give a thumbs down?
