I used this hair in the SOMBRE 1B/66R. You are correct. The dark roots sets this off. With that 1B it already has the dark roots & softly goes into a red color. I'll have to revisit this hair now!

The hair spanning the perimeter is typically more fine (in comparison to the crown) and I do NOT like pulling the latch hook through very small braids, it's not safe (IN MY OPINION), especially near the edges. I hope this makes sense 💖
