      If you are using whipped cream frosting, make sure it sets in the refrigerator first

      It's so pretty for cakes! No, the caramel won't set the same way as the chocolate unfortunately

      If you're using chocolate melts, no tempering is required. If you do go with the chocolate chips, yes

      As soon as it sets, you're good to go. I've switched to using chocolate melts instead of chocolate chips - the chocolate sets quicker and at room temperature. Usually takes about 20 minutes :)

      Let the chocolate stand until it's semi-set. It can take anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes, depending on temperature of kitchen surface and kitchen

    How much time do you put in on the refrigirator? and how much time is needed for the chocolate to cool down and harden before you put it around the cake?

      About 15 minutes. Check out my newer video tutorial - I used chocolate melts and they don't need to be refrigerated. You don't want the chocolate to harden completely, just set enough so that it doesn't flow. th-cam.com/video/c3B8bxdyA2I/w-d-xo.html

      Chocolate melts or wafers set up the best! Not all chocolate will set the same

      Yes! This would also work with whipped cream. I recommend refrigerating the cake first, to let the cream set up a bit, then applying the wrap :)

      Hi! I haven't tried it on butter paper. This will also work with plastic acetate

      The chocolate needs to be soft still. Don't let it dry completely, otherwise it will break when you try to put it on the cake.

      You can try using milk chocolate melts. Not all chocolate will set the same

      +Christabelle chan I used compound chocolate for this video but if you're good at tempering chocolate, couverture chocolate will work great! :)

      It needs to become semi-firm again. You don't want it to harden all the way because it will break, it needs to be semi-set so that it's pliable; about 5 minutes in the fridge

      I think you're thinking of wax paper? My parchment is the same on both sides... either side should work just fine though :)

      +Sidra Ali I don't add anything to it, just microwave it with the microwave set at 50% power :) Leave it in the refrigerator until it's set

      I recommend letting the cake set for at least an hour, then apply the wrap. The chocolate will stick better.

      I would do a little test run and see how well the chocolate sets after it's melted. If it sets well, you're good to go! :)

      It depends on your kitchen. If it's cooler, maybe 10 - 15 minutes. Warmer, up to 30
