Despite baking it the day before icing, the cutting part was still a challenge. And finally I used a Swiss meringue buttercream for the icing (not as sweet as classic buttercream)

Hi tatyana, ive been using this recipe for all almost all of my cakes and i absolutely love it! Just one tiny doubt, when i keep it refrigerator, the cake becomes a bit hard, then if its left out for half an hours, it becomes soft. So maybe its because of the butter, so can we substitute butter with oil? If yes, please let me know the measure. Also if you've any other tip, please do share! Thankyou 😘
Hi! I'm so glad to hear that you enjoy my recipe! Are you wrapping the cake when you refrigerate it? Most cakes will become more stiff in the fridge, then soften when at room temp. And yes, you can use oil instead of butter, the same amount :)

Hi! :) I used 8-inch pans for this recipe but the brand also sells 6-inch rounds. Here's the brand I have: fatdaddios.com/ I always use concentrated gel color in my recipes. I buy mine a local bakery supply store but you can also purchase them online, the brand is called 'Americolor' :)
Oh... I meant of asking about cookie cutter. What size (diameter and hight) of cookie cutters are you using in this video and where did you get it from?
The cookie cutters are about a 1 inch tall. I think I picked those up at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I've had them forever so I don't remember for sure! Any cooking store should have them :)

Yes, that would work, too. The white chocolate doesn't really add flavor but it does add moisture to the cake. You can do the recipe the same way, just without the chocolate - no need to adjust anything

Hi! :) Yes, a hand mixer will work great, too! Just beat the butter until it's fluffy. Yes, powdered sugar will work :)

For swiping cake process, u can simply lift up only the second 'rings' to fasten the whole process.

Absolutely! I recommend doubling up the recipe and using 3 pans then splitting the layers in half
