I was going to watch this earlier, but I instead went into the new things blindly. The new summons are pretty decent I think. The spears are super strong, if you get the soul hearts into max hp perk. But then you're ending the game with a lot of health, even on Dasher. The ghost is mostly an elemental summon now. It has low damage, but it's fast attack speed lets it apply on hit affects easier. And get enough move speed and summon speed, the scythe will kill everything before they can touch you. There are a lot of good synergies with these new summons. Not a high KC, but they can easily do a lot of damage. But I had a lot of fun with these new things.
This character is so borked. Lol
Anyone know why the bat don't bonce on enemies for me ?!? They just hit one and vanish
Hastur seems to be pretty confident with her tentacles now. Had a run in the Forest with Batgun and, without much optimization, got 12k kills (actually, I don't know if that's a big number for her). It's certainly a credit to the new perks, but the tentacles now do a pretty good job against a crowd of enemies. It also looks like the tentacle AI has been changed to prioritize bosses, or I just got very lucky with their spawns. So... not the worst character now?
Prediction for next update: new years will have a fireworks character or something idk.
This tops Diamond and shotgun.
Is the mobile version less optimized because that character isn't on mine
new character aside, im consistently getting 23k+ runs with various summoner builds. even hastur.

did a run with the new character before watching this and holy st nick shes broken
the snowball have better homing than bat bullets the lightning you thought was from you charging is actualy your dragon and the magic sythe and ghost friend does 3 times less damage, maybe faster but from 22 damage to now 8. the bat gun is now better than ghost friend. if the grenade launcher does 45 instead of 60 again then im glad my version isn't a steam version.
dasher is fuckin op :P i couldnt get to 15. with her i rekt the game and darkness 15 all first try :P hope they dont nerf her. if you think its to easy just play a other char :P
