I was doing a run with Lilith and the grenade launcher and picked splinter when there was only 1 minute left and just died instantly from a million grenades flying at me at once lol
It's unfortunate how many anti-synergies there are with the grenade launcher. Would be cool if there was some sort of explosives expert character that was immune to the explosions from grenade launcher.
@@CranberryGod i think it is cool personally. We just need anti synergy with the other weapons to balance it. And they will 100% make a character that is immune or something. And has explosions as a passive. This is still early. So much room for new things :p

Actually, seismic wards count as summons, which outright negates dedication.
Big Cranberry never needs to shoot a single time, the enemies simply crumble before him
a little thing ive noticed which is actually quite huge especially in high darkness levels where enemies have a lot more hp is when getting sharpen(40% summon dmg)while your dragon is still in the egg form it doesnt actually benefit it of the damage increase(same goes for any of the buffs from the ghost path and summon mastery)

Something I did was to use Shana, get glare, got lucky and got the triple upgrade as my first chest, got three of the ability that makes glare hit twice as fast, and took as many vision range increasing upgrades as I could. I also ofc got the elemental stuff which works decently with the on-hit glare ability, and Shana's halo synergizes well too since it increases vision range by 75%
I have done similar shenanigans with shana’s triple perk ability, the strongest of which was triple stalwart shield, which makes you effectively unkillable during my most recent livestream. Runs like that are very cool, but also very annoying to record because of the reliance on getting the right perks when you hit the triple.
I got a run with the triple your next upgrade and picked lens. Every shot had the buff it was great
The more capstones you get, the more combine and unique perks you get. So there is some good reason to max out a perk tree asap. The unique ones are usually the only one's with red in their icon.
Yeah but most of the synergies are kinda average and you would be better grabbing a normal upgrade in most cases
Focal Point makes the Shadow Clone have an enormous AOE increase.

A lot of people have told me that they didn't realize runes were in the game until they watched one of my videos. Took me a few runs to figure out myself.
I was struggling so much to get this achievement and then I realized I could just turn the Darkness down lol
Yeah, definitely makes it a bit easier to tone down the difficulty a bit. It is still doable on Darkness 15, but yeah if you’re trying for the achievement that’s the way to run it.
So I keep hearing people say that about getting more of an item after grabbing its first form, from what I can tell the only reason is that its adding one item to the pool and changing the base form (ie. 10 base items becomes 11) so while it does increase the odds it doesnt seem to be in the way people are thinking from everything I've seen so far
Ya know, when you put it that way, it does make a lot of sense. When you take 1 skill, adding 2 more skills from that specific tree does make it seem like it's more likely for them to show up. I still stand by my tin foil hat theory that certain capstone skills are secretly locked behind certain skills, but I could definitely be wrong about that.
@@CranberryGod I picked all of the ice mage items early to try and increase odds of the capstone showing up, I didn't see it for 15 minutes.

You can sue anyone for anything, you just won't necessarily win. Could Nintendo sue for the Mario reference? Sure, but I'm guessing they'd lose.
maybe late but just realize that summon attack speed does affect the rotation speed of the weapon. Especially on the heavy weapon buff. Except for the dragon and ghost friend which obvious hahahahhahaha. Also based on my observation on your gameplay magic lens is not affected by the summon attack speed would have been nice if it was affected.
I did it combining gun glyph with Batgun and as much summon damage as i could imput, since you HAVE to go for a summon build anyway and the Batgun damage scales with them it worked perfectly, i was consistently raising the damage of the clone through the Batgun even if i was not taking bullets upgrades at all. Also the clone seem to be affected by summon upgrades, I'm not sure about summon damage, but its definitely affected by summon attack speed.
That does sound pretty cool, gun glyph with batgun also seems like a really cool way to spread frost and burns as well.
the clone is counted as a summon,that should be pretty obvious no?the way i did this was by getting all the lense path which would make the clone attack massive basically winning me game while afk most of the time
@@cheesemaster3187 There was a bug for a little while that made it so that Hina's shadow clone attack speed buff didn't work correctly and she didn't get the triple attack speed, and it was a lot harder to rely on the clone to kill everything. The bug got fixed now, so its much easier to go pure clone build.

a random family member gave me a better bike they had lying around that they weren't using, so today's been pretty nice.
Moreover... Blessing, when maxed out, makes the shield recover every 35 seconds. This is "pretty dope."

@@CranberryGod seems i have another pc version , for example you have daggers and i have ghostspear and the mods for the summons are mutch stronger at your version of the game . strange ^^
Very cool vid! Ive been trying to do this and i know i can really do it but i have 1 big problem, its that i play this on my phone and my thumb is really big and the skill button is so small plus i cant aim my dragon. Most of the time i mess up by accidentally firing my gun. Is there a way for a mobile player to edit the layout controls so that i can make my skill button so big that i wont miss clicking it?
Is there an option on mobile for the game to auto-aim and fire your gun for you? I haven’t played on mobile so I don’t know much about it.
@@CranberryGod there seems to be nothing, the setting mostly has audio and some other stuff but nothing on controls

I did this pretty easily with Lilith, the batgun and, a summoner build. Her crazy spirits count as summons and the passive damage you can output with certain upgrades is just plain bonkers. After about five minutes or so I was standing there, not moving and simply watching everything die. Only reason I had to move at all was because of the bosses. LoL :)

Why would you use the crossbow over the grenade launcher for a pacifist run? I guess splinter doesn't instantly kill you anymore, but light weaponry still scales off of bullet damage, which seems more relevant to me.
@@CranberryGod I feel having less ammo in a weapon like the crossbow would help early on to deal damage when reloading than having a weapon with large ammo cap

@@Flippirino Now you've lost me entirely. The whole point of the pacifist run is to not shoot your gun. Clip size, ammo capacity, more reloads, these are all irrelevant because you shouldn't be shooting your gun, and by extension reloading it either.
@@CranberryGod ahh, then how might Shana work if you say it's a fringe case? I'm not the smartest, and I apologize for the confusion
@@Flippirino nah dont sweat it man, its a fringe case because the setup required to make shana a good pacifist run character is very hard to pull off. you need to wait until the exploder enemies get you enough experience, then on your first level get a way to deal damage passivly, and then get the triple perk reward from your first chest, and then hit something insanely strong on the triple perk, like a dragon egg or something. thats why i called it a fringe case, maybe not the exact correct words to use, i should have said extremely complicated to set up instead.

Yeah sure, it isn’t very good but you can use glare.
@@CranberryGod cause in late game if we choose freeze it will apply to enemy and we can use it to get out of situation
Edit: i play new released mobile version so i don't know if the pc and mobile mechanics of upgrades are same
Dragon is maybe not completely useless!
If you aren't playing Diamond, it's the best way to get endgame damage scaling on your run. Diamond out scales anything dragon can provide though. With dragon, you can keep 0.8 bonus damage per shot, ever minute on top of other damage values.
I still want to see someone get triple dragon on shana.
