Not in all countries. Just anti-socialist ones. And people wonder why so many women have depression or a lack of connection with their children acter a birth.
@@twoprayingbuddhas892I still prefer natural birth than c-section. once you give birth the pain goes even if you’ll still be bleeding but c-section am telling it not easy at all the pain is unbearable still u need to take care of your baby sometimes ur baby kick right into your wound it not easy, I’ve never experienced so much pain in my life atleast I thank God for me and my baby but I’ll never ever prefer c-section. @@Mafa__Btrue... after 22 hours of labour pain, I had to undergo emergency c-section. It's been more than a month now still I am having the pain. Even my incision scar has not recovered. And yes the baby always kick right on the scar. I am a first time mom and I never thought c-section would be this much hard. With all the trauma and postpartum sometimes I wonder will I be myself ever again 😢
As an emergency c-section mom who cares for my newborn and myself alone in the weeks and months to follow, I wish I had understood more about the surgery. I wish I had help. Either way, we made it through, and my daughter is my life. We are fighters and survivors.
Me too, I'll be all aloooone,.. If you can do it so can I and im having a c section after a natural birth 20 years ago(im 45 and no, you don't feel any different than when you were younger, spirit never ages), im terrified of this waking procedure but glad I won't have to labour for hours.
@linneamedia we love those mamas. My mama was one of them with my because she had to get a emergency c-section because I had my cord wrapped around my neck while she was pregnant with me
@@kimbrolyy VBAC (Vaginal birth after cesarean) have about 60% to 80% success rate. But there's of course many, many factors that should be discussed with one's doctor.
The fact that the human race has evolved to a point where it can cut open a womans belly, remove her baby in healthy condition, sew the belly shut and allow them to live happily ever after should give you goosebumbs.
I mean, it’s awesome but it also comes with a bunch of severe risks like nerves not regrowing, you can’t have more than 2 c-sections because you can’t cute the same scar open multiple times or it won’t heal and that can be fatal, losing the ability to control when you urinate. It also comes with a lot of risks :(
I had Ovarian Cancer at 9 years old and was cut from hip to hip to remove a tumor the size of a grapefruit that was encased inside my ovary. Years down the road I had 2 C-sections and was cut along the same incision line. I always say one cut was to save my life and 2 cuts were to give me life. It's crazy what we go through as women.
Wow, I didn’t know you could get ovarian cancer so young!! Thank you for sharing your story. I’m so happy you were okay and able to eventually have two children of your own ❤
It's crazy what most women go through. Not me though. There's nothing in the world worth going through all that for me. Then again, I don't care at all whether or not a child is biologically related to me, but I understand it's a big deal for many people.
@amandadangerfieldpiano Both of my labors were natural and it was horrible so much I was okay never having children again. I got divorced, fell in love with a new man. We are expecting but I told him I'm going the c-section route and am studying everything I can for it to go smoothly. I considered vaginal with epidural but both times I had back labor and it was lainful back labor. The first one left me bedridden for two weeks. The 2nd I recovered faster but it still was very painful. I just don't want the epidural to fail and have half.my body in extreme pain. So I think I'll prefer c section recovery pain, with pain med over my baby crushing my spine. They said the abdominal pain hurts pretty bad during recovery but can be reduced with pain meds and making sure you don't get constipation/gassy. I'm trying to avoid extreme pain this time.
Had two c-sections 11 months apart. Two sets of twin girls. This operation is no joke and healing time was horrifying for me. I am an easy bleeder and have iron deficiency anemia. My second c-section would be my final one because I had my tubes cut out & completely removed. They couldn’t get the bleeding to stop due to an extreme case of postpartum hemorrhage and all the doctors were looking around at each other almost as if they knew I wasn’t going to make it. Barely made it out alive. Had a team of amazing doctors and nurses. You guys are amazing. ❤️
Glad you made it out alive and well. You almost became a statistic :(. So sad for the mothers who do die from childbirth and never get to meet their baby. I'm glad you had a good team of doctors, but as a side note, maternal mortality rates are too high in the U.S. Ugh :(
What happens when diastasis occurs. My cousin had twins and she has a 4 finger hole left in the muscle. Is the abdominal muscles not normally connected? Why is pulling better than cutting?
@@alisyngarza2768 im not a doctor but I think it's because during pregnancy the muscles can't stretch as fast as skin and other tissue so they naturally separate to create room. That's why most woman after birth have a gap between their abdominals. So I'm assuming during a c section they just have to physicall move them a little further out of place so the baby can fit through. Basically what I'm saying is there is no need to cut the muscles, they are already separated at the seam.
@@alisyngarza2768 also all muscles always go one way, if you just cut them through, it's incredibly hard for them to correctly grow back together, and quite frankly it's not necessary to create that much stress on the body and make the healing process worse. Imagine a ball of wool, you can easily seperate the strands lenghtways to create a gap versus cutting them through and knotting every single strand back togehter afterwards.
there under anesthesia and have numbing stuff if only you understood what fully conscious woman without numbing meds have to go through to get a baby out the normal way
@@Shadow-os1scI’ve heard C-sections feel like they’re pulling your organs out. Not painful but horrible. I know someone who’s bladder was accidentally cut. I actually prefer natural births without an epidural but with gas and air for pain relief because the recovery is so much easier. C section recovery is far more horrible.
@@potato1084 Well, of course c setions are mostly done because they're the better choice. Imagine if your baby's head gets stuck. If you'll have no problems witb a natural birth, I don't see why any doctor would begin a c section.
@@Shadow-os1scI wasn’t as lucky unfortunately. After getting an epidural and episiotomy, I still had to get a c section and I could feel being cut into on my right abdomen cause the epidural wasn’t working properly. They had to put me under immediately, but I still felt the pain for a couple minutes before they got me under.
@@sydneymcmillian remember that pain is only temporary. Also be grateful for pain. It gives us important information and helps us from being harmed further. I’ve given birth twice. It is intense but I wouldn’t describe it as painful. (I had zero drugs) (maybe it’s because I’m so calm and kept myself relaxed and focused on my own body rather than things around me) my eardrum rupturing was way worse. Not to mention there’s nothing more gratifying than all the precious moments with your kids.
It’s insane that there are some people who think that because you didn’t give birth vaginally you’re not a “real” mother. Like, seven layers???? Anyone who goes through that AND labor deserves a freaking medal 🥇
Lol thank you for that! I’ve seen a lot of people talking about this lately and I think it’s laughable. I don’t feel like any less of a mother just because I delivered my baby by c-section and I hope no other mothers does either!
My mom would've died with it because I was stuck (ended up in ICU for a week) and she didn't want to take the risk with my brother. Didn't stop her from being a great, supportive mom. Some people are awful
I was shaking on the table when i had mine done, but it was all okay. I was able to get up in a wheelchair after surgery to see my baby and was walking to the NICU on my own that night. Some strong ibuprofen and the love/adrenaline you feel after giving birth gets you through it 🥰
@@TheDamnD_it might be different in each place but are you able to ask for a c section without too much trouble? I've always heard doctors will fight you to have a natural birth and you have to search for someone willing to do it for you
@@hopeflynn3930 In Germany you can decide yourself which kind of birth you want. The Hospital gets a lot of money paid if they make a c section. But in my case it's medical necessary.
Birth is literally leaving the uterus, I don't know why people say that this isn't actually a way to give birth, some women need to deliever the baby in this way. Probably is just to let woman suffer doing the "normal" way...
@pip3611 Same with my mom and I. She had Toxemia/Pre-eclampsia. She swelled up from 130 with a flat stomach at 6.5 months, to 200. She had to be given smelling salts from passing out from dangerously low blood pressure. She was next given powerful steroids, and put under, while I was remove via cesarean section. I was 1lb8.5oz, 15 inches tall (that's tall for low weight), had totally black alien eyes, and very dark black hair all over. 6.5 months.
I'm super squeamish and going for my second C-section in a few weeks. Thank you for making a video I could stomach. UPDATE: We had a healthy baby girl born February 25th. She weighs 8lbs 5oz! So far recovery is pretty painful and the surgery itself was very uncomfortable. Truly horrifying to feel what's happening to your skin! But, she's perfect and worth it. 🥰 P.S. Thank you all for the well wishes and kind words! Feeling fortunate to have so much good energy coming our way ahead of baby's arrival.
Mom said that walking helped her recover a lot quicker (first day she took an hour to walk along the oby floor, after like a week she could go shopping (slowly and with pain) but she erecoved a lot quicker so that might make the situation easier :)
Bless your mom. My mom had 2 c section I was the first c section my mom had I was actually a emergency then my brother was induced c section 😢 I can't believe moms can go through it. I'm scared of c section I have had 2 natural labours and I wouldn't want a c section in my life pray for me and others plz
I'm sorry she got them, glad you're grateful, but just because someone has c-sections does not mean that she had to. People who work in hospitals can be impatient and the interventions and just the environment (not being home) can slow things down.
Can't believe some people think c sections are cheating and somehow don't count, like uh, that's a whole stab wound (or 7) to heal alongside the normal afterbirth care needed... to thinking about it stresses me lol. Hats off to those who have kids, no matter the form of delivery
True! My mom got one because of an emergency with my twin sister. This was almost 22 years ago and she says the scar still hurts. It's crazy what women have to go through 😶
I love how you explained it all just with pieces of fabric instead of realistic demonstration to be more easy to us youngers to understand more about the birth.
I'm only here today thanks to one! Although the T-section cut was needed due to how dire of a condition my mother was in. I was a 26 week old premiee with triplet siblings to boot. Thanks to them, we're all alive!
I had my son at 17. Labor wasn’t bad at first until they couldn’t find my son’s heartbeat. Many positions later they found it, not knowing my epidural came unhooked. I was in so much pain and no one believed me until they found the tube dripping all over the bed. More complications happened and after 18 hours of labor I only made it to 7 cm and was rushed into an emergency c-section. They tried to pump me full of anesthesia and was giving me pain shots all over my stomach because I could feel her poking me with the scalpel. Sadly, my son heart rate kept dropping and they had no choice but to cut me open half numb. I was screaming and the pain was excruciating. I was even throwing up all over myself in the operating room because my blood pressure plummeted. He’s 6 and healthy but I will forever be traumatized by his birth lol.
When I had my son I could feel everything they did. There was zero pain but I could feel my insides being moved around and a ton of pressure. Definitely the weirdest thing I've ever felt. It was a semi-emergency c-section so the tension was high in the room. It was the scariest day of my life but also the happiest.
Hearing that another woman experienced a similar situation to mine is kind of nice. Whenever I explained the situation behind my C-section being a semi-emergency I'd sometimes have people look at me like I was being dramatic. Like there was no gray area between an emergency or an ok delivery. So its nice to know I'm not the only one
Same here. And still, after many years I still get very emotional about this topic. A c-section can be a traumatic experience for the body and the mind sometimes. Even though it's for the most important reason there is.
@j.mcgyver5541 I Agree. Tho for me, my labor was what was traumatizing. My daughter was in distress the whole time so tho I was terrified to get the surgery I felt such relief when they lifted her above the curtain and she started to cry. To see that she was finally ok was all I cared about.
@@xXUmiUsagiXx I experienced the same. I got mild meds that where actually only for testing how the little one reacts to stress but out of a sudden I was in labor like a jump start. After several hours both of us were in danger so the c- section happend.
@j.mcgyver5541 I had to be induced a few days early cause I had caught covid and they were worried about my placenta. From the moment they induced me my contractions were back to back with very little time in between. I labored for 18 hours with many complications before my ob just was frank with me and pretty much told me my choice was to have a c-section now or I could wait an hour and hope I'd dilate more but if I didn't then it'd be more of an emergency. Remembering back on it I was in danger too cause my oxygen and blood pressure kept dropping but I really didn't care about my state. I just wanted my daughter to be ok.
I love my mama. I'm a C-section baby and premature at that. She suffered a lot just to have me. Seriously, I'm super thankful I'm loved and alive right now. She's amazing.

After my first c-section I was terrified of doing something to tear my stitches and have all my innards fall out, the dr thought I was being funny when I said that, but later a lovely nurse realised I was actually scared so she explained all the layers to me, it really really helped me.
So glad it's not just me that thought that! When I had to take my dressing off my stitches in the shower I worried that all my innards were going to flobber out haha.
@@tianna1116 Scurvy is a vitamin C deficiency for 3 or more months and it causes ALL cuts/scars to open up again including C-section, your body is constantly keeping them together 😭
I hope all the women who go through c sections have a good recovery. There's always scary tissue after a c section and usually causes her great pain later on as the scar tissue grows.
If c-sections didn't exist, I would not be alive. I never turned in the womb & my mom had to get an emergency c-section. Thank you to all the medicak professionals who perforn this procedure.
Same for me and my sister. We're twins and there's no way our mom could've pushed us out. Without C sections, all 3 of us would have died. It wasn't an emergency c section, it was scheduled but thank you Ob Gyn's!
Were you transverse? Because if you were breech, c-section may not have been truly necessary. Babies are born breech all the time (often out of hospital, at home or in a birthing center) even though not enough doctors know how.

I was an emergency C-section baby. I was 3 months early and a twin. 17 months later my mom had twins again and since she had an emergency c-section she had to have another. My mom is amazing. Two sets of twins, one fraternal and the other identical. And we were all lucky to grow up with no problems and all relatively healthy. It was honestly a miracle we all survived. We were so tiny and so so premature.
I work in the mother baby unit and recently started training on labor. I got to witness my first cesarean section just the other day and it was very fascinating. Definitely a good way to explain it to everybody. A C-section is a lot on a mother, especially if they’ve been pushing for hours and the doctor calls an emergency c-section. I think there should be more respect for the women that have to go through this.
This is what happened to me! Wanting to have a normal delivery then for hours going through all the pain.. with no meds no epidural.. then right when baby was about to come out baby started with irregular heartbeat.. Dr called emergency C section then.. the pain afterwards.. it was a very painful and joyous day for me.

That's what happened to me with my first(she's 16 now). I labored for about 12 hours, pushed for two, she was stuck, so to the OR I went! It wasn't a pleasant time. Two years later I had a VBAC, and two years after that I had a scheduled c section. All very very different experiences. I'm actually surprised I had more after that first one though.
Same happened for me too after even long hours my skin down there isn't stretched for baby body so I had c-section but everything worth after seeing my baby
My daughter was 11lbs and would not fit through my pelvis because it didn't spread. I hated being judged by the mom's that gave birth naturally. Healing was hard especially being a single mom with no help. The duties said "don't lift more than 10lbs" lol my baby was more than 10lbs
😂yep my first of 5 sections, was 9lbs 15oz. My partner returned to work the next day and I was recovering and taking care of our newborn. He was over 10lbs his first week
I was in labor nearly 40 hours before having an emergency C section. It was really terrifying but I'm glad it was an option to save us. Recovery was tough but honestly I had myself psyched up that it would be worse. I never got proper milk after my C section, and that part was really hard for me.
I loved my c section, I'm glad I didn't have a vaginal birth. My plan was to have a vaginal birth but ended up with an emergency c section. I'm glad I got a c section, if I'd have known how easy it was going to be for me to recover I would have chosen it in the first place.
Do you mind sharing with me your experience. I love it when people share their stories of how they brought life into this world because everyone has a different experience. I don't know if I will ever have a c-section, but I know all the stories I've heard so far, have not been positive. Two of my cousins had c-sections, but it's extremely taboo to talk about it in my family, as in giving birth is a dirty topic and not something you talk about, so I haven't had the best luck getting informed. Thanks for this video. It made me realize that I was not such a crybaby after my csections, it's only natural that it was so painful to recover from all that. Plus the fact that I didn't get to hold my babies straight away after they were born, and that afterwards I couldn't easily hold them in my arms with the constant pain of every move in the belly area. I always felt like a warrior recovering from a war wound, except that you so badly want and need to be strong enough for your newborn child so you don't rest. I wish I wasn't feeling so ashamed of myself for hurting so much at that time. I feel proud of myself for dealing with it anyway now. I hope csections are easier for some other women.
Your comment just made me tear up. It felt terrible not being able to roll over and take her out of her crib. I felt so useless. And it's been over 5 years now. I didn't know it still affects me that much.
@@kh8529 I'm sorry you still feel the pain, time does make things easier, but these feelings leave a deep scar, and at times they can resurface out of nowhere. Maybe because on the moment we didn't have the time and/or the will to address them, because it would have been too painful and we had to go on for our babies? Thank you for your message, I feel it's not easy to talk about this experience. I wish you and your little girl all the best.
Amen to this. I had 2 c sections and definitely can say it's more painful afterwards. There's a reason God meant for us to give natural birth but it's not always possible.
I had 2 c-sections and mine was painful afterwards but around day 5 I felt fine guess I’m just lucky . And the worse part for me was not being able to pick up my 2year picked him up I’m hospital and a midwife told me off . Us c-section mamas are so strong and they literally tell you to take pain meds like paracetamol for 6weeks afterwards x
In my experience the pain after a c-section is other-worldly unless you’re on painkillers… which of course a nursing baby will get some of and it can lead to a lazy nurser til the drugs leave baby’s system. 18 years later that gut-wrenching, breathtaking c-sec pain is something I can recall like it was yesterday. The pain of a vaginal birth literally felt more “natural” if that makes any sense. Sure it hurt but I can’t really recall it in the same way, it’s more vague. The pain was more gradual, and it was so much more temporary. So, IMHO, you truly ARE a warrior for having endured that experience, especially more than once. And I remember so well that limited contact with my c-section baby right after the birth. I know they save lives during those rare complications that can happen, but c-sections can also add a lot of misery to what should be one of the happiest days/times of a woman’s life and limit that initial bonding. Please never, ever shame yourself for your c-section pain. I’ve never felt anything like that before or after. It took Tylenol 3’s to keep me anywhere near comfortable for at least a few days after the c-section and I was moving slow for a very long time. hugggggg…

I think the weirdest part of a c section is that your awake . Like I get your numb and shouldn’t feel anything and there is a curtain so u don’t see anything. But the thought of me lying on the operation table with my stomach cut open and muscles pulled/pushed aside while some doctor grabs my baby. It sounds like a horror story to me and so props to any woman that has to go through that. I’d much rather push the baby out but I know that not everyone woman has the choice and I was very lucky to have an easy pregnancy and an uncomplicated birth
As someone who had a c-section and is not a generally squeamish person, it was horrifying. I had nightmares of the surgery and insomnia for 8 months. I became suicidal. Even though I knew I was being cared for by professionals and would likely be okay, being awake for it was absolutely terrifying.
I had an emergency C-section and it was traumatic. I was hysterical and I will never forget all of the sensations. Thanks for your recognition of what we go through!
@@mkeri5121 I always try and think about how I would feel in someone else’s shoes. So when I was pregnant I had loads of women telling me I wouldn’t have the birth I wanted and would probably have a c-section. I guess they thought because I was 18 I’d be too weak or too skinny to have the baby. Think they assumed I’d get tired of pushing when obviously there are loads of different reasons someone might have a c-section. I think the aftermath would have been harder as well. Like I only had to worry about my down stairs. Y’all have that to worry about plus an incision on your abdomen. I was very lucky to have the birth I planned and I remind myself that there are people that don’t have as happy of a birth story as I do and so I don’t like speaking about it in the way of I don’t want anyone to feel less than because there experience wasn’t mine.
During my c-section there was of course a curtain BUT I could see the reflection of my own body in the light fixture overhead 😅 once I put together that I was seeing things happen to my body that I could not feel I found somewhere else to look pretty quickly lol

100% agree! 3 timer also. My first was an emergency c-section after 13 hrs of labor. It was during the procedure that the doctor discovered my pelvis is too narrow for vaginal birth. So my only option is c-section. I'm very thankful for modern medicine!

You c section mammas are so strong. I can't imagine taking care of a newborn while healing from that. I'm really mad at how hard the OB pushed me to have a c-section with my first when there was absolutely no need. I'm glad i got that last wind of being angrily stubborn. My neighbor had the same OB and went through the same thing and ended up with a c-section. This procedure is so important and has saved so many women and babies, but some OBs overdo it.
Woah! I’m super proud of all mothers who have gotten c sections!! I don’t think I could recover from a major surgery like that and take care of a newborn!
I had a vertical C-section incision 3 years ago during my last pregnancy due to an emergency because I was in labor for almost 2 days and baby's heartrate was failing. I was wide awake during the quick procedure which lasted less than 30 minutes. My 3 year old, now a sweet happy boy😊
I had to have an emergency c section to save mine and my sons life. Dr on call was awesome had everyone laughing. The recovery was rough but thankfully I had help. Hugs and prayers to those who have to recover on their own with a newborn.
I’ve had one c section and one vaginal and I always tell people I’d have 4 more vaginal deliveries before another c section. It was brutal and worse than vaginal in every way possible for me, even emotionally and psychologically it was harder. The pain difference and recovery are very different as well, the c section was just awful!
This is such an awesome tool to help people understand how the procedure is done! I’m not a parent nor am I planning on ever having kids, yet I found this video fascinating.
It's amazing the number of people who INSIST that the muscle is cut. Even when professionals are telling them otherwise, and that muscles NEED to be left intact.
My daughter was cut up and down so they could save her but for some reason my son was cut the other way. With my daughter her heart was stopping every contraction I had and my heart was sky rocketing.. it was the scariest thing ever in my life because she was my first child I had. I remember crying to my mom because I had no clue what was happening, I do remember telling her that I had my first surgery and my first hospital stay

I put my mom through hell being born. My foot was hung in her rib cage and it was stressing my heart. They had to cut her from bellybutton to her rectum. I had my twins via c-section and they both had to be immediately taken away to the nicu, my husband was allowed to see my daughter before she was wheeled off but he had to walk over by the surgeons. 😅afterwards he was like “babe, I saw INSIDE of you. I didn’t think I’d actually see that much of you” he was pretty traumatized for while but he was such a trooper for the recovery process. Helped me do literally everything for weeks ❤️ maybe seeing that much of me gave him some new perspective lol
My c-section was more traumatic for my husband than me…I am of course conscious but really doped up, and I hear baby crying, and am so happy. Evidently, right after my husband cut the umbilical cord and held our baby, he remembered that he had a wife who just had said baby pulled out of her, so he looked over at me to see how I was…and the doctor was just shoving stuff back inside of me before sewing me back up 😂😂😂 He said it was actually traumatizing to see. I felt fine. Totally worth it. 😊

Mad respect for the medical teams performing such operations. Had an emergency C-section with my first child after 10 hours of Labor and I was in awe over how smoothly everything went, I was in the OR within two minutes after the doc called for a c-sec, everyone around me working like a perfectly balanced clockwork, it was fascinating. And I might have been lucky in comparison to other Stories in the comments, but Recovery afterwards was pretty chill for me as well. A nurse encouraged me out of bed about 8-9 hours post-op and accompanied me to the toilet and I was out of the Hospital after three days. The only real discomfort was getting out of bed for the first couple weeks or so.

It also comes with a lot of risks :(

It's crazy what most women go through. Not me though. There's nothing in the world worth going through all that for me. Then again, I don't care at all whether or not a child is biologically related to me, but I understand it's a big deal for many people.
I am about to have my second C-section and may God see me and other women out there through this once again. This is my prayer point🙏.
Did you read about and consider vaginal birth? How was the second birth?

It is super comforting to know that your muscles aren't cut. Still freaky and painful as hell i assume tho
So comforting to know everything else is cut lol
They aren’t cut but they are definitely pulled over pretty hard!!

Oh my gosh you are all miracles. Your Mum went through so much. Twin pregnancies (and multiples) must be so tough, and preemies too 😭
I work in the mother baby unit and recently started training on labor.
Thank you this happened to me I pushed for 3 days didn’t fully dilate and still pushed then emergency c-section with my epidural not working had a heart attract daughter and I both were in icu and nicu for weeks
I have gone through this.. I was in labour for 12 hours and bam they had to take me to c-sec as my water was starting to get dry and there was a very thin line of saving me or my baby so the doc made a quick decision and now we both are good he is 3.5 yrs now 😅❤ also he was a premi baby 🙈 but Gods grace we both were and are good 😂
That's what happened to me with my first(she's 16 now).
These are the moments I’m so glad I head a regular birth. Lots of love and hugs to those that had a c-section
I want to know everything, if you are willing to share it.

Literally the coolest representation of a medical procedure. Amazingly creative idea to teach in a way everyone can understand!
My mom still shows me her scar, where the doctors cut into her belly, just to have me. I could never do that. Love you mom!
It took Tylenol 3’s to keep me anywhere near comfortable for at least a few days after the c-section and I was moving slow for a very long time. hugggggg…
Women are amazing!!! So much respect to all the moms out there!
Yes, we are pretty amazing.
Hats off to all the mother's around the globe.... Respect
This is such a great learning tool!
Ikr not too realistic good information
I have been terrified of looking into what happened to me during my C-section. Thank you for making this palatable!
Wow... God is indeed great!
May God bless all the Mummies in the world. May He continue to strengthen them.
Childbirth is one of the most daunting things to go through. Thank goodness we have people who learn and teach this stuff to make it safer!
This is confirmation that mother’s are superheroes with phenomenal bodies!
Mothers…
Yes!
If their bodies were phenomenal they wouldn't need C sections.
Just saying.
@@foetusdeletus6313 if they’re holding a whole human for 9 months and having a painful birth i would say they have pretty phenomenal bodies you obviously wouldn’t know so shut ur mouth next time x
@@foetusdeletus6313 everything has its limit bud
To me it felt like a bunch of people were playing in my belly like I was a sandbox. At least that’s what I pretended and it wasn’t scary to me
This was by far the best explanation given to explain to any audience, especially children
I've had 3 C-sections and this was still fascinating and informative to watch. And all I have to say is thank goodness for modern medicine because if I got pregnant waaay back when before any of this, I can sadly say my first baby and I would not have made it. ❤️
Same here. I barely made it while at the hospital😬 placenta ruptured and I bled out. Thank God I was already there for preeclampsia
100% agree! 3 timer also. My first was an emergency c-section after 13 hrs of labor. It was during the procedure that the doctor discovered my pelvis is too narrow for vaginal birth. So my only option is c-section. I'm very thankful for modern medicine!
Im not sure why I'm getting so many medical videos when im squeemish but im really thankful you showed a non gruesome demonstration! I can continue my day comfortably! 💯❤
This always makes my toes curl of anxiety and actual pain covered by anesthesia. I touch my stitch mark and imagine what i went through in that moment 🙏🙏
Women are such inspiring people. They're incredibly great
So is everyone
@@roby9762 yea but thats a different topic
I had a vertical C-section incision 3 years ago during my last pregnancy due to an emergency because I was in labor for almost 2 days and baby's heartrate was failing. I was wide awake during the quick procedure which lasted less than 30 minutes. My 3 year old, now a sweet happy boy😊
Same experience
Same experience.
My boy is two now.
I had to have an emergency c section to save mine and my sons life. Dr on call was awesome had everyone laughing. The recovery was rough but thankfully I had help. Hugs and prayers to those who have to recover on their own with a newborn.
This makes me incredibly grateful to have had normal, healthy vaginal deliveries 🥰.
God love the surgeons who do this and the women who endure it❤
I’ve had one c section and one vaginal and I always tell people I’d have 4 more vaginal deliveries before another c section.
Well you also have to consider those who don't know how its done too in the equation
@@PrincessofKeys if a doctor is RIGHT THERE saying "no, we don't cut the muscles, we separate them" then they do know.
Wow! I had a c-section 40 yrs ago. Thank for this valuable diagrams with full explanation. Thank you very much. 🤗
Moms are amazing. Whether vaginal or c-section, birthing a baby is awesome and all mothers deserve respect for it.
Thank you! :)
My mom had my brother in a c-section. I was 8 years old. the strength she went through… so blessed to call her my mother 🥰
I had one and I‘m still amazed by it. Thanks to modern medicine, my son and I get to live. I‘ll always be thankful for it. I‘ve been so depressed after birth, because I felt like I failed, because I wasn‘t able to give birth naturally. It took time to accept and even be thankful and happy with how the birth of my son was. I‘ll always love the scar, even though I had trouble in the healing process. My son is the reward of it. And he was so worth it.
This seems like a really comforting way to show someone who is going to need a c section that there’s a lot of care when it’s happening.
They need to show this in health Ed.
I put my mom through hell being born. My foot was hung in her rib cage and it was stressing my heart. They had to cut her from bellybutton to her rectum. She didn't get to meet me for a few hours because she was under anesthesia. I will say that my 36th birthday is tomorrow so I was born in 87, I would imagine they have figures out a better operation to have a childbirth like mine. You're the best mom! I completely understand why I'm an only child 😂😂
Whhhhaaat?! Belly button to rectum?! Oh. My.
Honestly, this is incredible. I had two c-sections and wondered many times like how in the world do they do that. Incredibly helpful
This also shows how endometriosis can spread through the scar, or lesions like Hidradenitis become serious complications.
god, that's terrifying but thanks for mentioning
This is how I got endo. From 2 c-sections
@@Dani._ella you already had the condition unfortunately, the c section spreads it around, my mom also experienced this with laparoscopies too. laser is best!!.. my ob didn't even realize they cut over my lesions ...they asked if i had already had a c section (my first and only)because of the established scarring.
@@Camilia5615 hmm yea I possibly had it already. Anyway I’m 48 and praying menopause comes soon!
@@Dani._ella my mom is 65 , and I watched her suffer for so many years with stage 4 endo. Please do listen to your body. Endo may continue on, or prevent menopause. The women in my family wouldn't get menopause until their 70s. My mom had to have a complete hysterectomy and avoid all soy products, to keep the tissue and hormones from re establishing. Laser was key for her endo removal. I also have symptoms and have migraines, yet Dr's tell me migraines will go away with menopause, but this is not true for so many women. Menopause doesn't save us😓💞
I ended up giving birth vaginally, but I was terrified I'd need a C-section. I commend the momma's who go through one. And I love how creative and straight forward this was.
I honestly don't understand how someone feel more scared about c section than vaginal birth kkkkk if I were to get pregnant I would never have a vaginal birth
@@MariaPaula-uw3ds I heard vaginal birth hurt more but recovers quickly afterwards. C section is a major surgery so pain and recovery time is much longer and needs extra care. I am also not sure how i would give birth in the future . Both seems to have negative and positive sides.
Same for me. I was terrified of having a c-section but never needed to, thankfully.
@Maria Paula It was the recovery time for me. I've never had major surgery and I didn't think it would be easy to heal a stomach wound while breastfeeding a 8lb baby. And I got an epidural for the vaginal pain. Recovery afterward just felt like a 6 week long period with cramping.
@@MariaPaula-uw3ds Some people are scared of getting cut, teared, deep cut n stitched, anaesthesia or oblivion and uncontrolled things happening to their body etc.
Ceserean is an Operation after all
Haven't u seen General People With swollen Appendix who have to undergo Operation, rather than paining in intestine, they are more scared of getting teared off with sharp objects ,anaesthesia phobias, or long term wounds of stitches,
People are even scared of laser eye surgery, laproscopy or endoscopy in which unknown objects are used on bodies, People may have phobia of scary looking surgeries and 'Deep cuts and blood oozing thru it' than a natural process of baby coming out when u r at least in full conscious state and not cut by foreign blades, I mean some women might make up mind to go thru natural birth cos it feels natural rather than scary surgery cos they are overall scared of heavy treatments or operations, be it any operation
Common everybody has some or the other fears
In the past era when ceseraen operation might have come As A new discovery in human world, and was only recommended in emergencies, at that time also many ppl were scared of BRING CUT DEEPLY IN A MAJOR SURGERY
And That fear is also natural, everybody have different comfort standards
Some might find csec easy and instead are scared of 3-4 hours pain or pressure in abdomen , while others may be uncomfortable with the idea of getting deeply cut and having to witness those scars or stitches for lifetime and having to take too immense care of side effects of abdominal stitches like reduced body flexibility and too protective movements and reduced ability to move too much in future intercourse, threat of loosening stitches thru heavy movements n causing other related prblms like hernia , threats n increased risks to heavy routines like that of gym trainer , sportswomen , dancers whose stamina might be affected due to a major abdominal surgical scars n wound and hence they are turned off to any kind of surgical procedure
I'm having my 3rd cesarean next week! Not excited for surgery but so excited to meet my daughter 🥰
Omg good luck!! Honestly I'd rather do that than give natural birth because ow!

I didn’t think I’d actually see that much of you” he was pretty traumatized for while but he was such a trooper for the recovery process. Helped me do literally everything for weeks ❤️ maybe seeing that much of me gave him some new perspective lol

Whewwwww my mom had a C-section to have me and seeing just how it happens really makes me love and appreciate her even more
My c-section was more traumatic for my husband than me…I am of course conscious but really doped up, and I hear baby crying, and am so happy. 😊
Thank you for this, I’m gonna perform this on my friend who’s sleeping at the sleepover.
