- A look at the Toric Perpetual Calendar from Swiss watchmaker Parmigiani Fleurier.
Thanks to Time Titans for lending me the AP: timetitans.com
No, I don’t know who makes the watch winder. Sorry.
Best watch review channel by miles. Love your refreshing style!
Thanks so much
The price giveaway at the start was perfect.
Seems like some vital info.
Great description of a difficult to describe timepiece.
👍
thanks for finally reviewing an affordable watch
Happy to do it!
Don't know how you did it but you made me like this watch. Having seen AP and comparable Patek perpetual calendars, I much prefer this design. I've been fascinated by this brand for a while and if ever I were to be in the market for a dress watch of this level(you know because I hit the lottery), this is the one.
Great video! Unfortunately, as Italian I don’t feel comfortable by using a 70k watch that the name sounds like a recipe of the eggplant with cheese
Maybe, but on the other hand if you wear this watch you might feel even better when eating the dish with the same name? 😉
For 70k ...that's lange territory and that's some scary comparison. But it's gorgeous that's for sure!
But is there a Lange perpetual calendar for 70k, much less one with retrograde anything? Asking because nothing comes to my mind...
@@kfmathewYou’re right, there is none😅
The only Parmigiani I’ll ever be buying is the cheese kind. Completely in house.
While I LOVE the concept of a perpetual calendar, I just can't imagine living with one. If it's a daily wear, and your only watch, perhaps? Then it'll never need resetting until service? BUT, I do LOVE the video!
a stunning masterpiece
Please please please review more independent watchmakers! Loved this review and the Streamliner for sure!
Problem with Parmigiani is that they depreciate so much!
I bought their annual calendar chronograph Tondagraph GT panda dial.
Nicely done
Yup, this is beautiful. Gotta rewind once again to that AP, though...
You're not going to review it, are you?
I just heard that it already sold.
As Always well done ...🤟
Thanks ✌️
Thank you, Siri. I love you, Siri.
I feel so low-rent eating a hamburger while watching this. Great review as always Evan. We never know what we might come across on your channel.
🍔
Anybody too rich to appreciate a burger should be launched straight into the sun!
Great video and helluva watch, jesus christ I wish I was rich!
Ditto
But is it as accurate as my Citizen eco stilleto watch? I enjoy my Glycine sub combat and my Titoni Impetus, both under $500.00 I am not afraid to sing my watches. I would never be comfortable wearing that lovely watch, nicer than the AP in my mind. Kudos to them for their creativity and ingenuity.
That's Christmas sorted.
Awesome content as always
Dude! can you do a review on 16610; you have just an awesome point of view on older watches compared to the rest of youtube!
Well said
Thanks
Awesome video, thanks Evan. Do you see yourself dabbling into high horology soon or is nearly $70k too much to even consider?
Not for my collection, but I like reviewing them.
$69,000 dollars, what a bargain!!
“69...” 😏
“...thousand dollars” 😨
Nice
I figured at least 20k. With a name like that I second guessed 75k.
They named a $70k watch after a $7 container of shredded cheese.
Love it
Great watch if only they made more effort on the buckle design which looks too basic for such an expensive piece of art.
That's true, should be a clasp system.
Nice intro speech 😂
It's a lovely watch, but for 70K, I'd rather have a Datograph....
My comment predictions were correct.
Just ordered the Parmigiani GT in rose gold. Can’t get enough of this brand. Once the masses catch on it’s going to be mayhem.
Gorgeous piece. Well done.
fuck affordable, lets see some more high end watch reviews
Just set it and forget it!
Only crazy people need a weekday & month complication, and you need to be crazy to pay that much for a watch. ;-)
Was anyone else worried that he was going to drop it during the video?
Cheesy name :)
I love the "date" windows and the crown, the rest is meeh. ;)
These things tank second hand, at there second hand prices you get an absolute bargain.
Parmigiani? Ahaha I thought this was some cheap Chinese company like Filippo Loreti or Pagani
69
Nice
I got bored on this one. How many people in the world can repair this. If you buy this watch it will own you.
I doubt the guy spending $69k on a watch is too worried about the cost of the service lol
@@AardvarkAdventure ha. Wrong. Bye.
@@FT4Freedom "Man, I was ready to plunk down $69k on this watch, but then I realized I wouldn't be able to get a discount service from the kiosk at the mall. Guess I'll be grabbing that Casio."
