Definitely the best hiding spot compilation for Pressure out there. A shame the TH-cam algorithm pushes this down for bigger TH-camrs with lackluster examples.
5:26 a point I would like to make here is that if you stand too close to the door that is closed without opening, if angler or any of its nodes go by it there is a chance their ray-tracing MAY CLIP THROUGH THE CLOSED DOOR AND HIT YOU, resulting in death. This happened to me with pinkie.
25:58 There's a save spot passing trough the hole in the wall, there's a locker that fell down on the right, you got to align your body (crouching) with the locker, (a part of your camera MUST be blocked by the locker, only works if the correct door is on the left)
5:16 if the door is straight ahead in the diamond shaped rooms, stay at the fake door to the left, node monsters always go to their right for some reason (unless it's froger, who will come back the other side). This applies for DiVine catwalk rooms as well.
I use a trick i learnt from someone else on the ridge, it effectively completely skips pandemonium coming So because the ridge spawns anglers at around 30-40 second intervals, you can sit in the safe spot in the transition room until pandemonium spawns. since pandemonium spawns only once in the ridge (and in general) you can do the rest of the ridge without having to worry about him, only anglers. you can also wait an hour and 40 minutes to make all spawns besides front angler and blitz when you open a door disabled, but that’s kind of unnecessary
It’s crazy cause on my successful lockerless run I had two Pandemoniums: one in the blacksite and one in the ridge. Luckily I had PSS both times but god I would have been fuming if it got me the second time.
@@RustedPeek hypothetically, you can REALLY rarely not get pandemonium 22-100 and then speed through the ridge in order to not get him at all but the chances of that are very low. i did have a time where pandemonium took 20 minutes to spawn in the ridge though
Considering I've tried several times lockerless runs in doors, it helped on pressure because i still had the knowledge of which hiding spots are similar from both games that still work, but i learned a lot more from this vid, like how Pandemonium is able to see you even if youre partially covered, meaning you have to hide in full-body covers. Neat vid 👍
Really nice video! This is actually way better than all the other guides, nice that u showed virtually every room you could get. Lockerless isn't that hard, it's just so damn annoying because of the RNG you need to win. I hope the devs can do something about it in the future, at least make lockerless somewhat consistent to win or smth. (Like doors no hiding.) U did also miss out some stuff like being able to wait in the ridge checkpoint after opening the first door, for about 1 hour and 45 minutes, to be able to despawn all ridge entities apart from door entities (front angler and blitz) that spawn when you open a new door. (No one tell the devs about this.) Or, alternatively, you can wait in the checkpoint until pandemonium, then chainsmoker, and use chainsmoker to get like 5 rooms ahead, wait in another ss until another chainsmoker spawns, and just repeat that process until the end of the Ridge. Because chainsmoker is slow and other node entities can't spawn when it is active, you can use it to easily get to the end of the Ridge even with somewhat bad room RNG. Hardest part is definitely the first 100 rooms imo, that's where you will need to get good room generation. Thanks for the tutorial!
at 23:10 if you move further into the room towards the stairs, neither angler nor pande will head towards them, meaning you will survive if you hide behind the railing of the stairs
16:47 Another Pandemonium safe spot is actually at the end of that room if you hug the wall and that shelf where you showed it was angler safe. Did it in a 50 player server when Pandemonium came. I was as flabbergasted as was some people spectating me.
Just because it's annoying to deal with does NOT mean the devs will change how it works because people doing locker less are complaining about it @@MistyTheCat-n9j
Amazing Video Foxy! I'm new to this Game and i feel this tutorial has everything i need to attempt this badge! never seen a tutorial with this much stuff in it xD I can tell you put alot effort into this video. Wish me luck!!!
4:53 if the exit to the diamond shaped room is on the complete opposite direction of the entrance door, and there are no rocks blocking anything, Angler or any other entity will always (or should always) take the left path, the only reason I say this is because every time I find myself in one of those situations, I always find the monsters going to the left and never the right. And this is very obvious but the monster will always take the shortest path. 7:47 I have heard but haven’t gotten to test it out yet, that in the small office rooms you can survive from node monsters. But it is almost purely based off of skill and perfect hiding position. That also applies with most other rooms but you have to (again) be positioned right next to the locker, look straight, and make sure that the locker is close to the side of the wall, or that you can’t see anything like doors or where the monster path is.
20:37 this spot is safe at the vent entrances as well, just crouch and look down. the entrances of the vents are pandemonium/angler safe meanwhile being right under the pipes is *only* angler safe
This helped so much because i only done like 10 locker less runs every one of them was under 20 doors death but after i watched this video my first attempt of the day was ended on door 48 thank you so much!
I had a case of this in the room at 25:11. Pandemonium took the expected route through the room at first, until it got to the end door, where it *turned back around* and went right by the window. I was in plain view of pandemonium for several seconds before it phased through a desk, into the wall, and fucked off back to the petition-to-be-canon office.
Once I saw something similar, hid in a side room, pandemonium just decided to enter and head straight through the wall of the side room as I watched. Very confusing times.
so after pande is done with searching the room he turns off the raycasting and leaves through a random wall. tho I might be incorrect this is just a guess.
Hey Foxy, I found another safe spot on my own! The spider cavern room is safe from Angler(and likely Pande but I haven’t tested him). The room after the cavern ends never seems to have Good People, so Angler would instead pass through the doors on each side of the cavern. Think of the cavern like the vent room with the broken/blocked/unopenable doors on both ends.
20:35 ive heard you can die to panda if you're in the pipe part of the vent, staying in the corner of the actual vent part is pandemonium safe from my own experience
With the crashed submarine, I found a pandemonium spot by going into it and pressing my character against the side of the entrance towards the door I came from kept moving against it until I could only have a tiny view of the outside.
btw tip for pandemonium,(idk if he said this in the video cuz i didnt finish)if you are in the rooms with the vent room in the middle dont go in the open area for pandemonium cuz he can get you there, instead go to kind of where the vent ends
15:03 I’ve gotten Pande on the room right after the Grand Encounter, and I survived it in that spot u showed at this point. I just have to be facing slightly diagonally against the wall and look down so Pande doesn’t see me through the window.
I showed another spot for the room after Grand Encounter, which imo is a lot more safe than the wall thing since the Room might be a bit wonky due to the grand encounter generation (but yes it still works I suppose!)
13:20 I would just like to point out, hiding by the side of a locker in the tunnels (where eyefestiation can spawn) NO LONGER WORKS if angler is coming from "behind you" (door you last opened) not "infornt of you" (the next door you open)
7:17 this type of room is apparently safe from pandemonium, there is a wide drawer you can hide behind on the safe side of the room, you just have to be a little to the left so he doesn't see you, I thought I was cooked but it worked surprisingly
7th ridge death, 222 deaths total and i still didn't beat it :)))) Update: 8th Update: its been a while. I beat lockerless on the 27th of August with 12 Ridge deaths! Hooray!
Got to room 96 on a perfect lockerless run yesterday, a new personal PB. ..ended up falling into a hole in the ground. I.. lets say took a break after that.
At 8:04, in the small office room, it's possible to hide between the desks. I've survived Angler there once, though I'm not sure if it's safe against Pandemonium.
Nope, if it spawns in a dark room it means it spawned in a previous lit room (or its just extremely rare I've never seen it spawn in a dark room before)
23:13 uhh, no? If the correct door is in front of the rubble then you can go to the staircase which is both safe from Angler and Pandemonium (camera should be pointed down for Pandemonium but I think you don't have to)
I just got a lockerless run with a-60 valcula void mass and I made it to the ridge for the first time then died to froger at 107. I hate froger now. fuck froger. I have a grudge against froger now. we are now arch rivals.
Agreed, but looking down just adds an extra touch of safety if you're not sure whether Pandemonium will see you or not. You're right, it isn't necessary, but if you need an extra touch of safety, its recommended (im too scared to not look down lol)
I noticed that on lockerless pandemonium spawns without eyes and he cant see me even though i am in his line of sight. I dont know if its just me being so lucky, but when i was in a vent and pondemonium passed through that went he still didnt killed me
It happened to me too in a sideroom of the ridge that had two furnitures right on the corners on the door side and i had to improvise and try to crouch + lock down right beside a drawer (I'M COMPLETELY SURE I WAS VISIBLE OUTSIDE THE ROOM AND PANDEMONIUM DIDN'T SEE ME SOMEHOW) i haven't gotten the badge get though
Is there anywhere to survive in those computer rooms where there are computers on the left or right side of the room (they’re a little lower in the ground than the actual path but you can get to the door both ways)
If you're talking about Server rooms, I think 28:17 mimics what you're describing the most. You have to hide behind the farthest server (unless the correct door is there)
You missed one turret room with a purple card. What if I don’t have enough time to get and open the (purple) door? Info: *after you open the (purple) door with (purple) card, there will be a vent for you to go.*
those rooms are actually not safe from angler since there is no broken door for angler/pandemonium to go through (therefore it goes through the vent and gets you)
Hiding near the lockers in the Trench Rooms no longer works? I have done it on 4 different occasions, looking ahead, behind and down, sticking to the locker, staying in the middle and in the corner but Angler always kills me, I don't know what to do there
@@Glacies Yep, that's the same one I'm trying to hide next to, the one at the end of the hallway with the space on the left, but it never works. Could the proportions of the avatar influence whether you can hide or not?
I think proportions are forced in Pressure, so I don't think thats the reason (although try setting it to the default anyway and see if it works). If changing proportions still doesn't work, then I'm not really sure what causes it to not work. I'll try testing the spot tomorro and let u know if it works for me or not tho
@@Glacies I was testing and OMG, avatar proportions do affect. Having a thinner avatar will make it easier for you not to be detected and for you to sneak into narrower places, having a wider avatar affects the raycast and it will be more difficult for you to hide between objects even if you walk backwards looking forward, it is verifiable at the beginning of the game when you go to grab the keycard, before crouching there is a box on top of a pallet with a narrow space that you can use to measure it

tysm I now can survive panenonion (pandemonium) :D
I almost got lockerless recently but died in the ridge due to not knowing about the timer thing
Should've disabled pande spawn until someone gets in the locker. It'd be much easier
I need MORE pandemonium >:D
Pandemonium jvmpscare :3
Aw man!!! 33:30 I died to angler cuz I was on the opposite side and it was the farthest I had gotten 😢
Also sometimes pandemonium firstly goes through door an after like a second he teleports to you and passes next to you
Isn't easier wait in the room (before the first door of the ridge) till pandemonium spawns?
That'll take quite a bit of time imo but you could try that
@@Glacies ok, and thanks for the video (specially in the ridge part) I've died a lot of times in the ridge doing lockerless, (one of the at door 112)
To be honest you missed some spots, like river, elevated room ( you going up ), some ridge.. but this video is really good
I think there was a River spot I wanted to try (stair generation room) but I could never get angler to spawn there and I just gave up lol
@@Glacies it doesnt work, angler can see you
Ah ok
24:16 it's literally safe from Pandemonium too...
When Zeal released the patch that allowed that pipe tunnel to be angler safe, he also confirmed that it wasn't pandemonium safe
2:41 Correct but pinkie could
Is there anywhere to survive in those computer rooms where there are computers on the left or right side of the room (they’re a little lower in the ground than the actual path but you can get to the door both ways)
If you're talking about Server rooms, I think 28:17 mimics what you're describing the most. You have to hide behind the farthest server (unless the correct door is there)
You missed one turret room with a purple card. What if I don’t have enough time to get and open the (purple) door?
Info: *after you open the (purple) door with (purple) card, there will be a vent for you to go.*
those rooms are actually not safe from angler since there is no broken door for angler/pandemonium to go through (therefore it goes through the vent and gets you)
I think 17:06 no longer works because they hella buffed the ray tracing with the new update.
Also I did die to angler at 22:00 behind the pipes, I was hella upset after that lol.
I have gotten so close many times the highest I got was ridge room 105 I think I am really hoping I get it soon
I almost beat it but died to pinkie at the ridge 😭
I got to room 96 and died to angler, I was trying to hid behind these green pipes 21:57
unlucky..
1:14 i see toy remote
Hiding near the lockers in the Trench Rooms no longer works? I have done it on 4 different occasions, looking ahead, behind and down, sticking to the locker, staying in the middle and in the corner but Angler always kills me, I don't know what to do there
The locker has to be slightly away from the door, and it has to be at the end of the room
Having a thinner avatar will make it easier for you not to be detected and for you to sneak into narrower places, having a wider avatar affects the raycast and it will be more difficult for you to hide between objects even if you walk backwards looking forward, it is verifiable at the beginning of the game when you go to grab the keycard, before crouching there is a box on top of a pallet with a narrow space that you can use to measure it
maybe if u dont go into a locker for the first angler pande wont appear? (just my guess for the next update)
