the reason that angler doesn’t get you if you are too far away is actually because it’s raycast hitbox can’t reach you, which is why in areas where angler doesn’t break the lights you are safe
And the reason why some angler safe spots you can still die to Pandemonium at is because Pandemonium's raycasting goes much farther then anglers. It still follows the same rules as anglers raycasting though
Lockerless is so easier than most people think. I got it on my first try. Do u need luck? Yes. Do u need skill? Not much. Just take your time, look through each room, if it seems to you that there are no further places where you can hide, stay in the room with a place where you can hide. Angler may appear even when you have not opened the door, but after a fairly long period of time, but when it flies by you will have time to go to the next rooms calmly. I can only say a couple of things: Don’t rush, think about how you will hide before opening the door, and most importantly, don’t panic! If you start to panic and shake, then stop and rest, I speak from my own experience, if you continue with excitement it will not lead to anything good! Good luck to you all in getting your badge!! I believe in you ;)
@@Flovis_mI’m in the same boat I can get to ridge majority of the time but I’m confused on something through doors 1-100 before ridge are the anglers set on a timer or room based like let’s say I had a “safe spot” then I proceeded forward following the 2 room method and there’s no spot to hide in any other room should I js go forward and hope for rng or go back n js wait how ever long it takes for and angler to go by that way I don’t gotta worry bout a dying to rng?
@@wyawal If you did the method of two rooms and they were small, then you can try to open door 3 and, if something happens, go back. If the rooms are quite large, it is better to go back and wait for Angler. It's better not to rely on your luck, but if you are confident, you can try. Sorry that maybe I answered too late ;)

Also for the ridge you can actually wait at the room in the checkpoint area until Pandemonium spawns, it may take like 10 minutes of waiting though but it’s worth it
congratulations on getting the both of them together, when i did my run i was unaware of the trick of the box so i had to lose my lockerless at door 106 but i still got the lightness one.

Update: they buffed anglers raycasting (60 per second) so most of the hiding spots in unlucky rooms mentioned before may not work AND also may mean that your only chance of survival is staying the hell away from its path, OR find something that can block entire character from impending doom... Have Fun!.. but if you want some good news they may add more hiding spots in the future update with le turrets.

pande is so blind because once I was in a transition to trench tunnel rooms, and there was 2 lockers on the side( a small side) which if it was angler I would have easily survived but I went right next to a locker (there was even a thing in the wall that didnt let me fully go beside) looked down, AND SURVIVED

You get the badge after reaching the end of the ridge (Door 115) so after that, you can prob hide which doesn’t help anyway since you’ll be dealing with cables and searchlights

I think an easy way to understand it is by using the sun as a comparison. The sun has a main body where the sunrays come off of, and that's pretty much the same with the raycasting system that roblox has. Rays come off from a main body (part maybe? not sure) and if it hits the thing its trying to detect then it runs the script, which in this case is a kill script. For the second question not really sure

how to get lightless with a light: step 1: get ur friend to buy a flashlight or gummylight if they have Hi again
you can only do lightless solo so that wouldn't work (although damageless can be done multiplayer)
At 0:05 Glacies even says that the lightless badge is done solo can't be done with other friends or people;-;
