I have been practicing and finally have installed good looking tint and the secret for me was to use higher quality tint I have learned so much from your channel and appreciate you so much thank-you for helping me on my tinting journey and have my first client on Friday can’t wait all thanks to you and your channel!!!!
Congrats! My first car took about 6 hours and probably wasn’t amazing. Don’t be afraid to fail forward and the first year is always the hardest. Everything comes with focus, practice and time. Crush it! 🎉
Hi plixz, how to stop little contamination on rear window glass, i try all method of installing rear window, but still some little contamination somewhere on it
I had to do a back window like 20x because I was using shitty tint and couldn’t shrink it. I also am new to tinting. I got some nice tint from tint depot and I have no problems shrinking now 😁
I’m trying to tint my own car and possibly get into tinting other cars but I’m not sure where to even buy good tint. Do you have a link where I can get good quality tint? Like ceramic tint? I appreciate any feedback
I been doing auto glass for 9 years and started my auto glass company 3 years ago , I’ve had a lot of success thankfully and now I want to add tint to my service since I get so many request for tint been watching your videos and they are so helpful
It looks like a carpenters pouch, Matt. Carpenter pouches are really very basic like that to hold a speed square, nails pencil tape measure. I used one of my old electric tool pouches that has a clip on the back side to just hook onto my belt or even one of my pants pockets. I didn't like it for electric tools so much, so I converted it to use with my tint tools, which I based off of what you use on your installs watching a lot of your livestreams. I hope you are staying busy through the winter there and you are settled into your new house for the winter. Glad I found your channel last spring; I picked up on window tinging pretty fast by watching your live streams. hope your classes are still going well!
Crazy well put together video Matt! I’ve had the same cart and have been trying to figure out how to trick it out, I love how you did yours. You’re killing it! Have a great year man
I need your help. I do automotive detailing so I work on all sorts of cars and trucks. What squeeges do you recommend for me to be able to get to all the differnt glass surfaces -windows for both inside and.outside of vehicles. Can you provide me with squessges from Detroit tools or any other brands that you would recommend and the tools or squessges by these brands please? Thanks!!
Hey. great video I was wondering which tools do you use to remove old window tint? I would like to see a video on how you do it! (I am unaware If you have one already)
Matt, have you gotten an order on a Tint Buster backpack yet? Changes the game. Feel like my installs have gotten faster for some reason? Probably cus I’m not always looking for the hose it’s right on my tool belt.
One more question, when I do my final squeegee after I apply the tint which fusion squeegee do you recommend to get all those water bubbles out. (hard or soft squeegee?) I think I may be using too soft of a squeegee bc I'm left with a lot of water bubbles when I finish. Thank you again Matt!
Check out the Hybrid, it has both a Blue Max on one side and an Orange Crush on the other. I install Tint & PPF for a living, and i've been using it every day for years. Make sure you're doing overlapping passes. You might wanna try some more soap in your solution as well. Could be that you don't have enough slip, and it's drying out too fast. When you do your first soft pass, it should get all the visible water out. Then, on your second pass, you really wanna apply pressure to get everything you missed. I personally use a decent amount of pressure even on the first pass. Keep your other hand on the glass to hold your pattern in place so it doesn't slide all over the place when you start to squeegee.
I use a regular detergent with cold water but no fabric softeners. And dry on low heat with no dryer sheets. Heat will melt the fibers and dryer sheets/ fabric softener will coat the fibers in a wax.
Hi mate, how to stop little contamination on rear window window, i do reverse roll. rest of car windows or quarter glass i do almost no contamination on it, can you please help me will much appreciate that
Hello, I'm from Brazil, my name is Elton, you wouldn't need people to work with you, I'd like to leave Bra, I've been working in the area here in the country for over 25 years, big hug.I really like your videos.
How do u deal with the window rubbers that have that fur like material , it releases alot when water is applied , i would use a masking tape but is there anything better?
Both are great 👍 apex is a dual layer ceramic and pronano is single layer. So it’s really based on price and what you wanna sell. No reason you couldn’t have both.
Matt I’m new to the window tinting industry I’m in Chicago so weather is cold my question is how hard do I have to squeegee out the tint after putting it on to squeegee all the water out for the next day I don’t get water bubbles if anyone can help me with that really appreciate it
You really don’t have to push hard. Some water will always be there and it will dry out even in freezing weather. I’m in Michigan, it’s not a problem to worry about. Just give it a little time. I tell people up to a week
hey matt, im thinking about switching from tint depot to GEO can you lend me some info? I want to know the difference between C2 Carbon and Pro Classic, anything can help. Thank you miss the live streams lolol.
Pro classic, really good color stable dyed film. The C2 has Carbon which helps block additional heat. Both look great both last a long time. The heat is the big difference. So when I sell films I sell Pro Classic, C2 carbon and Pronano Ceramic. Each film helps block more heat
You can find all the tools mentioned from
313Tint.com
SunDistributingDirect.com
TintDepot.com
can you show us how to identify if its carbon or ceramic tint?
Do you guys do any shipping overseas to Dubai?

Changes the game. Feel like my installs have gotten faster for some reason? Probably cus I’m not always looking for the hose it’s right on my tool belt.
I actually have one at my shop. I’ve used it on stream and yea it’s really nice!
Where did you buy the nonslip mats

Always do hard squeegee last

@@noahshepard7923 thanks so much!! This was really helpful! Much love 💚
@@inoskex7725 Anytime!
Excellent advice!
How do you wash your towels? Use a specific detergent? Or none? Etc?
How about drying the towels? Use dryer sheet or not to help it static cling?
I use a regular detergent with cold water but no fabric softeners. And dry on low heat with no dryer sheets. Heat will melt the fibers and dryer sheets/ fabric softener will coat the fibers in a wax.

Where did you buy the floor under the car?
Hi mat, what's the best side to use on the fusion hybrid, blue or orange?
Is a Milwaukee heat gun good for Tinting ? Looking for wireless heat gun if you got any suggestions.
What happened to using the la awesome from the dollar store for the adhesive remover?
Nothing, still works great. I just also have been a long time user of ATR so I typically have both
Nice vid definetly gonna use some of these tools. Do you clay bar the defrosters on back windows on ever sedan or just the problematic ones ?
I use them on every defroster. Always takes a black residue off the grid before install and helps clean in between the lines

What do you like better Apex or pronano as far as color and ease of working with.
Both are great 👍 apex is a dual layer ceramic and pronano is single layer. So it’s really based on price and what you wanna sell. No reason you couldn’t have both.
