As an SC native, Reds are actually very abundant especially in the fall. They just happen to be very pressured in the Charleston Area which makes it much harder to get them to bite since they’re so finicky in the first place. Bluffton/ Beaufort area never disappoints.

Lake Gaston is amazing. Family took summer trips there for two summers and caught so many fish. You can go from catching endless spots offshore to catching 7lb+ largemouths in the back of creeks. So sick to see you guys fish familiar water!

Can't believe you guy skipped through NC. We have Redfish and Striper at the coast, big Largies in Jordan, Falls, or Kerr, and gorgeous native Trout in the mountains.
yup this is what i said we have the biggest redfish in the country, yet they just skip right by us lol.. shit even some of the biggest marlins and tunas as well..

I stayed in a lakeside cabin on lake gaston as a kid and it blew my mind that it popped up in this video. there was a really cute black lab that would swim across from his dock to say hi and beg for treats :)

Guys…y’all blew through NC and VA after swinging and missing on reds farther south, when if you went through the outer banks and up towards the Chesapeake bay y’all could of made it that much more epic. Gaston is nice but I think the trip up the islands across ferry’s through OBX would of resulted in so many more crazy catches. Hang the eastern shore up through Va beach and to northern Va for snakes…literally bypassed 2 world class fisheries fellas. Maybe NS4 tho…
