2008 - 'Davenport Local' at Aptos Station and Santa Cruz

Triple-headed 'Rio Grande'-branded Union Pacific EP40 freight locos on a 3-times-a-week service to the cement works at Davenport, just north of Santa Cruz on the Pacific coast, in summer 2008.
The train is seen first passing Aptos Station, and the entrance to Nisene Marks State Park, and then against the traffic along Beach Street in Santa Cruz.
This service no longer operates, and the line is shortly due to be sold to Santa Cruz County..
