This has to be the best TH-cam channel for woodworking. Very informative, great projects, clear and easy to follow. A perfectionist and craftsmen, everything is well thought out and produced. Excellent channel, thank you and appreciated. Continue the great work 👍
Been following this series, unbelievable craftsmanship with each video. Would love to see a video tour of your workshop with all the different tools you use to make such awesome projects.
I’ve been waiting to cut a hole with the exact diameter of a PVC tube and already knew a few ways including how you did it. But it gave me more confidence seeing you make it look easy. I plan on making a plate on both sides to act as more area to reduce leaks and keep my pipe aligned. That means that once I get one circle clean I can use it as a template and not stress it. Thank you.
Son los mejores videos de carpinteria que hay en youtube, excelente el instructor, tiene un conocimiento muy avanzado. Muchas gracias por los 11 videos. Espectacular
Pretty slick! I've seen a Woodpecker's version but thought it was too small and too expensive for what you got. This is a similar principle but with the added size/shape to function as a "hood". Thanks for the inspiration, God bless.
Outstanding design and build. Love the versatility of the design for various types of dust collection. I see one of these in my future! Thanks for another great idea and especially the free plans!
Great idea having the hood cover that much area. You might want to add Vertical dado's/channels on the inside of the hood. Then veinier over the inside of the hood leaving about 1/2" or 12mm of the veiiner open on the bottom and make a channel on the top of the hood ()below the plastic about 6" or 15 cm. The channels might just pull the sawdust up that is piling up at the base of the hood.
@@Paoson_Woodworking I sent the comment before I say the 10mm dado's you cut to bend the hood. They are the channels you need to suck up the sawdust. You just need to leave every third or fourth channel open 1/4 to 3/8" or 6 to 12mm at the bottom. At the top, you can leave every other channel open a bit about 6" or 152 mm. The top channels could be about 1/2" or 12mm.
I'm used to larger, corded routers th-cam.com/users/postUgkxfQ5_mgwq6PcudJvAH25t-I4D-3cTPz4z so this was a different experience for me. Basically, this is an incredibly sweet machine, fits well in the hand, etc. It has slightly less power than I'm used to, but that's understandable. Maneuvering freehand takes some practice. These days, it's especially nice to be able to avoid power cords. This is above the level of a hobbyist but below a pro level.
It looks different than any other solution I see back in the days but it don‘t work realy good, in my opinion. 1. not everyone have a dustcollector with a 4 Inch tube. Most Woodworks have a small dustcollector with a tubediameter from 34 to 43 mm. 2. I think, it’s better, the router is much nearer on the workpeace and the dustcollector tube sucks on two places… behind the routerbit an under the table. But the video was nice made … thx for that 👍🏽
Brilliant idea and design.I would have made the PVC pipe deeper into jig so thar suction is nearer to dut.But again you have probaly tried that and it didnt make much of a difference. Will build me one tomorrow.

Sorry dut= dust and thar = that 😊😊
This is cool! Love the look of it. Would some anti-rotation baffles in the PVC section help to avoid that vortex effect that's visible in the video?
good idea mate, I have to try it. Thanks!
Great project again! Very inspiring videos! May I ask how many m² is your workshop? Greetings from Hungary 🇭🇺

Congratulations for the table project!! it's amazing!! I have a question: did you use a HPL panel for zero clearance insert? what in the thickness?
No, although it is similar. Here all that info: bit.ly/3GkM9ML

Do you have ref for that type of MDF with melamine ?
I have search but found nothing similar to you.
Thanks for the great ideas and videos. I bought the plans and build your 3D router. It’s awesome. I’m wondering what you use for a dust collector?

Che materiale è quello nero?

Seems to me that the dust port would be better placed not on top but behind the fence
GREAT project. Also, you show the hood in action THEN show how to make it. Most content creators do the opposite.
