I can't understand why he flash-backed that lingering souls knowing he didn't really have any other action in his hand and that he would be on damnation the following turn.. I would have kept waiting on that imo.. but I guess he decided to in order to get that rest in pieces out? but honestly, rest in pieces was a pretty terrible sideboard option.. bringing in 3 copies wtf? Idk about that.. I think B/W tokens on their own are already strong enough, just needs more token spells/ hand disruption or removal tbh.. tokens are actually highly effective at just naturally attacking and chump blocking these abzan threats so..
You say this like the unban happened within the last few weeks. They unbanned it 4 years ago.. I know it seems like a "broken" deck when you can assemble that win through that kind of hand but I don't see a problem with the deck, It loses to decks in the format and it hasnt taken over the format. Modern is heathy right now.
i know you guys are not really worried about valakut, but Modern is not healthy. The only "interactive" deck out there is Abzan and jund right now. every other deck is full bullshit aggro or combo NON-Interactive. And this is a problem. I wouldnt call modern healthy right now.
***** Yea I know and I dont dislike it at all. But just look at modern definition. It clearly states they dont want dominating strategies that are not interactive at all.

Why does Seth mancield look like he's about the cry at any moment
Cool first game!
I would be so tilted if Seth Manfield shuffled my cards like that lol @8:56
G1 starts at 01:25
In g1, when the titan entered the battlefield, why didn't valakut deal 12 damage? There were 2 valakuts in play
Is Oliver new to the scene? I like this guy.
Rookie of the Year. He's pretty new.
why did he path to exile the titanshift after blocks?
Patrick Smith that was a very smart play by him that may have tricked me if I playing.

good job unbanning valakut...... 5 lands hand wins with basically just casting titan

i have played every type of scapeshift and it is not broken. it is currently my favorite deck, but it is quite balanced
