I was really hoping to see some cab removal/restoration work but this was such an awesome video it was really great to see the atmosphere of there shop and the process and attention to detail they offer the customers when I buy my kit it'll be through them for sure

Wish my powder coat from HSP would of done that. When it showed up it looked like it had cracks all over other than being disappointed in my custom powder I paid for I love my HSP kit

Hey Josh, been watching your channel since your sinister diesel days lol. Just wondering, with all your experience in restoring these trucks, have you ever considered any conversions? Would be sweet to watch an in depth video of a duramax going into a squarebody K30 crew cab dually.
A question I have is I work doing powder coating and we use that same gun. Does the HSP guys change out the hose after every color? We do that to make sure you don’t get any flake from any other color in your parts.

I've been looking at getting a 3/4 ton truck to haul the skid steer I'll be getting. I've never owned a diesel so I'm a little nervous about getting one. I've heard that the duramax have injector problems? Is this true? And is it a very common thing to happen? I was looking at getting a gmc 2500hd duramax around 2017-2019 probably. If not I will probably get a gas one in the same year range. I could use any advice. I'm not a "teuck guy" I just know enough about gas ones to do basic fixing. Thanks
All my powder coat on all my hsp stuff is flaking off. 2 years old. Trac bar brackets and high flow kit. All peeling.

Would it hurt the engine if I run a constant 2200 RPM on basically a flat road with my 2007 LBZ quad cab with 200,000 MI. All I have is a programmer and I leave it on number four out of 5. The engine is all stock besides a cold air intake, a programmer and the fass system.

Just bought my first dirtymax the other day 2010 Lmm with 258,000miles looking into doing a complete rebuild on it soon any truck shop recommendations willing to travel from Missouri
I bought my lmm. A year ago I absolutely love the truck 130,000 on it it's in mint condition keep it don't sell it these earlier trucks will be worth some money in a few years because there's not that. Much smog crap on them there will be some aftermarket parts coming soon to upgrade the dpf legally the lmm has great towing power too
Your truck color is called Silver Birch sometimes it looks silver sometimes it doesn't. it's a weird color. It's the same color as my truck
Indeed a tricky color. I’ve pulled parts off a same year same paint code (926L) truck and they did not match mine.
Like after you restore a truck like this how much would you sell it for just wondering. There is a hole mess of these trucks that are in the same shape as that one is it worth it

Hey boss, I may be jumping the gun on this but, where did you/are you sourcing your clean body panels? There is an 04.5 GMC in similar shape near me same color same cab layout even the same color but every single body panel needs to be addressed and the bed is toast. Been kinda waiting for someone else to do a project like this so I don’t feel so bad if I ever decide to pull the trigger on it

Hsp is by far the worst fitnment/ powder coat quality. Take it from someone who install these kits everyday. Sdp or wherli custom fab
It’s opposite for me I’ve installed dozens of the other guys kits and the fitment is trash. I’m actually installing a wcfab cold side on a L5P as we speak and the kit is missing the orings and the boot is to small so the pipe is worthless at this point
