I just want to say thank you for all the ways you have improved my life. Since finding your channel I have learned how to fix things, renovate things, fit new handles onto axes then treat them with diluted boiled linseed oil, and generally become someone who looks to his tool kit for solutions ..... rather than an online store. Thank you Wranglerstar, the world is a better place for you having been in it, and I am a better person for having found you. God bless
Dawn won't cause an issue, especially after you rinse it. We use it in cooling systems that have been oil contaminated via bad engine oil coolers. A thorough rinse afterword will do fine! 40 year ASE Certified Automotive Master Tech, L1 Advanced Certification.
There is a product called neverdull, it might be spelled different. It's looks almost like wooll that is soaked in a solution. You tear off a piece and you can make dull aluminum look like chrome. Try it. I've used it for over 25 years ...also very good for polishing chrome as well.
I 100% agree with monies spent on suspension, in turn advancing you and your riding safety and abilitys to go real real flippn fast thru the woods here in the dark and bloody grounds, hollows and hills of Kentucky best money i spend on my sickles!👍🏼
It’s amazing how easy the work is when you have the right tool for every job Needles to say you do not need to buy every single tool you can make your own for the job Like those tools that break the seal on the hoses
Love your videos. I pick up a 2001 kx250 a few months ago and I'm rebuilding the entire bike. Thanks for all tips and tricks, I'm looking forward to the rest of this serious🤙🤙
Love these videos, great information step by step, plus I'm a visual learner so easy for me to associate. Me and my son are tearing down an 05 CR 250 for his first bike. Fun fun fun! 😊
Love the moto content. Thank you for sharing this video. I have a 2018 KTM 250SX I am restoring during these cold winter months myself, looking forward to a spring filled with brown powder on a freshly rebuilt 2 stroke 🏁
It really is looking very nice already as the bits and bobs get cleaned up. It's amazing how parts get damaged on our motos even when protected like that radiator.
Hey Cody great content 24 and always learning also not a huge fan of the new thumb nails and the titles that are more random to what I’ll be watching but at 5:30 you should have took off all the hoses instead of doing one at a time and stress other hoses
Having raced my whole life, the system of maintenance has never changed for me. I start at the rear wheel and work forward until I only have a frame and motor. Then u can inspect everything
What's the point of the kashima on the uppers ? Wouldn't you want that coating on the stanchions ? Stanchions against the seals is where the friction happens...unless I'm missing something.
@@macjaxjax2604 30 seconds at a time. Test a small area first. Have the water on hand to neutralize the acid. Avoid using a spray bottle That was my mistake. Awful little dots etched everywhere
Love you Cody but a fan on a 2 stroke radiator isn’t necessary at all. Maybe 20% of the 2 stroke enduro riders use them if they are even allowed. Pro’s use their resources wisely, and their crews won’t let them do otherwise
Hey Sir, I’m sure you’re aware, but your channel seems to be getting throttled. I have to search your name to find your content. It never shows up organically, so much so that I was concerned you stopped posting.

Great to hear!
Yep I agree with every thing you just said. We need men and brothers like this in our lives.
@@dougfowler6898 Thank you, and absolutely agreed.
Great video! We need more like these. Reminds me of the old wranglerstar videos.
I’m so glad to have this kind of content back on the channel!

Old 2 stroke 250s are not affordable if you can find them. Theyre like gold. Everyone wants them over the 4 strokes

I work in the aerospace. We usually etch bath aluminum in nitric acid so that it removes FOD and make it shine.
I only watch these videos now to watch him spill fluids everywhere hahaha its my favorite part!
And this gentleman is what we call busy work

I love working on bikes. I don't have a moto like this style but I currently am rebuilding a 1986 Suzuki vs700 intruder cruising bike that was my dads
Mama kitty on top of the locker caught me off guard hahaha
Use the same stuff to detail pontoon boats. Those pontoons are impossible without aluminum cleaner. Great tips!
How do you polish oxidized aluminum?
How are you feeling Cody?
I’ve been rough, like you, and almost in my fourth week of it.
Definitely something going around!
I'm going into week 4 and it's still crushing me,

A lot of it here in the Uk, sir 🙏🏻
Great to see you back in the saddle again after recovering from the bioweap@n attack Cody. Praying for you, Mrs W and the rest of the family.
More outdoor videos please
I've been slowly buying all the stuff the full redo a frame up rebuild for my ktm 450 08 exc-r. I'll be following along at the same time 😊
Have you looked into Ultra sonic cleaners? I love my little one. Perfect for small parts and jewellery. Would be perfect for motorcycle parts.

I’ve always liked simichrome.
Dirt bikes! Near and dear to my heart!
how much time does setting up the different camera angles add to a project?
It takes 3 to 4 times longer,
@@wranglerstar Wow thanks for all the hard work
Be careful with muriatic acid. 30 seconds with a tub to neutralize is a good idea. I've ruined a aluminium wheel, I had never seen one like it.
What tips can you offer? I’d like to clean an aluminum ladder.

@macjaxjax2604 clean ladder with a couple of brass wire brushs.( Hand held wooden handle wire brush or stainless wire brush and sand paper)
You can polish it to a mirror finish
Do Them West Coast guys have enough strength to take a bike apart? 😂

That thing is pristine. Why the resto?
Exactly. 2018 is considered old!!😂 Exacting standards.

Unfortunately for me, I'm now too old and beat up to ride dirt. However, it CAN'T be that different from a street bike...
