    It's kind of nice when they don't register, because that gives a reason to revoke the parole right off the bat. You don't have to wait for them to actually hurt someone before you bring them back to jail. Because if they can't get out and register, and that's probably the simplest thing that they have to do, and we can't trust them to do just about anything.

    • @hoptoit5910
      @hoptoit5910 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      They have to register themselves? After charges like that they should be put on the register, not given the choice. That’s like arresting someone but telling them to make their own way to jail within x amount of time. Madness. 😂

    • @JeremiahLOsborne
      @JeremiahLOsborne ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@hoptoit5910 lol. I understand what you're saying. But the point of them registering is essentially for them to check in with the police, to let the system know where they are, where they're working, etc. It's not that they are unregistered when they leave jail, part of their parole is to check in with the police essentially every so often. In my state, Pennsylvania, they will take a current picture of the offender and update the Megan's law website. Some people may also have to take drug tests. But the point is for the offender to voluntarily come into disclose where they're living And what they currently look like, so we can all keep an eye on them.

    Another example of our stupid criminal justice system. Home invasion robbery and they just drop the charges and revoke his parole, like he’d never committed another crime. I’ve encountered the same thing before. This guy steals my car at 2 am from my driveway. Four hours later, at 6am, the police called, they found my car with a guy sleeping in the passenger seat, wearing my jacket. My car stereo was missing, ripped out of the dash, but there were 3 other stolen car stereos sitting on the back seat, along with a fishing tackle box. This guy had been out on parole for less than 2 weeks after serving a couple years for a bank robbery conviction. They said they couldnt charge him with car theft because they’d found him in the passenger seat, like WTF? I had to drive to San Quentin and waste the whole day just to testify that I didn’t give him permission to take my car. He got zero charges and they just revoked his parole, giving him one year before he could get parole again, which of course, why wouldnt they, seeng how there were no new crimes he’d committed!

    Question: 1st guy.....2nd charge.
    How can the Board find him GUILTY of charges that were dropped by the State?! smh
    Most of his charges are REALLY, just 1 charge, worded 5 different ways. He moved, he shouldn't have, I get it, that was wrong. BUT, so is "stacking 'em up", to give the impression of multiple infractions, where there is not.

    That first one is where he belongs that’s just my opinion but the second one, had me almost in tears! I’ve been the addict in someone’s life, thank the lord I didn’t have kids but I was definitely reckless. There was no way he could leave his baby with an addict he absolutely did the right thing and to punish him for that just wouldn’t be fair. He managed to get his baby somewhere safe and get the mom somewhere safe so she isn’t on drugs. I just believe in this young man and I hope he believes in himself!! He put his little precious son before his own freedom, I hope he gets back to him and can continue to be an amazing father. Please stay out of trouble you are needed out here not in there!
